Does anyone remember this anime? Why was this cancelled and was there any resolution given for the black kirin. I really liked this one. Found it when I was digging through my collection.
because Anime are just for people too lazy to read the source material. If you truly love what you're doing, why are you still watching anime?
Granted some genres work better as an anime. This isn't one of them
the novel wasn't finished yet at that time.
it's still ongoing apparently
It was an OVA series so they had the time to make it good.
>I can only hope for a remake with better production values.
if they remake, it's going to be shit. I hope they will do a continuation someday. Also, pic related is one of the best story if not the best.
(i think my previousy post didnt get through for some reason, trying again)
watched the anime years ago and still keep songs from it on my playlist (including piano memories)
currently reading the books, on vol.4 now (already got eugene's translation in my tablet too). it's so fucking good
>no annoying friends
>rakushuun literally the best bro in the entire anime universe
That part where Youko whips her royal army into shape and then declares her first royal proclamation is something I won't forget.
I liked how 12 Kingdoms dared to use characters who were meant to be shitty people, who could even be called despicable, and develop them in a way that wasn't retarded or unconvincing.
story never finished at the time of the creation. Then author had health problems that caused a delay. I think it was in the process of writing back in like 2008-2009 or something. The beginning got resolved but the actual in kingdom stuff hadn't happened yet
Gods are a real entity. Youkou manages to convince the kirins to endorse a pseudo UN/international food stockpile at national borders to get around the mandate that no emperor/imperial forces can intrude on another country even as humanitarian aid.
