Thats' why the only series I have really completed were CGDCT since nothing bad goes wrong. But I need to change, that's why I am going to watch abusive anime from now on. Neither do I. I've always thought the reader/viewer is supposed to be a neutral observer, not pretend to be part of the story. Like the main character is supposed to be relate-able so you can understand their situation and feel sympathy, but you're not supposed to pretend to be them.
