No thread for the return of the best girl ? You disappoint me /a/non...
what better way for rurui and shu to work together than to have an english speaking child come to them.
whether or not this arc does anything or progress rurui and shu's relationship, I will enjoy this greatly.
Any train wreck manga like Nisekoi? It actually became fun to see how bad this series turned.
Though, I kinda miss its prime (prior chapter 50) where Nisekoi was an above average comedy.
>Any train wreck manga like Nisekoi?
There's no bigger trainwreck than the entirety of the Fake Karakura Town arc
Also Nisekoi was at it's prime till about chapter 120 or so...maybe before it...before that shitty mary sue Yui showed up
It still always had some funny chapters here and there
Marika arc was the worst because of how fucking long and retarded it was tho
Fuck off Rurifag
I hate you fucking hypocrites who hate on Chitoge for being violent but yet love fucking Ruri who is a million times more violent than her
Shuu deserves better than this bitch
The book dictates that there are only 4 girls/4 keys...the 4th girl was revealed years ago to be Yui
Yui knows all about the thing but she won't tell him anything till he makes up his mind
I imagine they need all the keys to open his pendant with the final key being Chitoge's being the promise girl
Yeah I don't know why nobody's talking about best girl. It's the first time we see her too.
>There's no bigger trainwreck than the entirety of the Fake Karakura Town arc
Not true, final arc has been a way bigger trainwreck. Already forgot sniper nigger flamingo god owl?
I remember when I read the pilot chapter.
I thought it was going to be a comedy Romeo and Juliet type manga about a dysfunctional couple and their feuding families.
And here we are. Here we are...
I can't remember when I jumped ship. Roughly around when Haru got introduced.
who ever was that did that he was a genius(if someone really told him that is...that probably was his original plan all along)
A manga only about Raku and Chitoge would get old fast
Chitoge in the one-shot was way more mean-spirited
Early Manga Chitoge on the other hand apologized to Raku when she accidentally kneed him but Raku was being a faggot
The whole conflict between Raku and Chitoge in the first chapter feels very forced as a result
He didn't break her heart technically(he didn't knew about it) and it was over like 10 years ago...come the fuck on
At least in the series it makes sense they don't remember jackshit
Regardless the conflict in chapter 1 was still extremely forced
Yeah, of course a romance manga will not be very interesting for a long time. You'd have to make it short, sweet and wrap it up nicely. What we got was 5 years of harem-antics. Yay
>What we got was 5 years of harem-antics
It hasn't been 5 years yet and a lot of what we got was amusing comedy filler...if you like that or not that's up to anybody but I don't think writing is Komi's strongest point so that's why I think it's good he went with a Harem and changed Raku's and Chitoge's personalities a bit
She hits him for everything she does
And "her feelings" feel forced as hell(I mean c'mon..she fell for him because he took a photo of her smiling with her grandpa? Give me a break)...this is so fucking pointless 2bh
I don't like them together one bit
They had always played off each other. She was annoyed by him, but that made him interesting to her. He also often complimented her and acknowledged her, while most others didn't Even though she usually saw this as him making fun of her or being a pervert.
He didn't like her, remember. He like the teacher. Her feelings for him really came out when he visited her great grandpa with her and Raku. She saw that he is a sentimental and kind person. And he went out of his way to give her a keepsake of a passed family member who she was close to. That doesn't feel forced at all. Even now, we don't know if he likes her. It could be one sided.
>That part make it worse, anon.
What? No it doesn't
He didn't know so he was not at fault
>They drifted a part and became hated rival.
Most normal people would either completely forget it(I mean they were 5 years old ffs),get over it or I dunno...fucking ask for an explanation
>He also often complimented her and acknowledged her, while most others didn't
What? I seem to remember Kosaki complimenting her pretty frequently
Either way Shuu might be a masochist but he deserves better than her
And it definitely feels forced
Uptill really late in the manga Ruri didn't show any feelings toward him whatsoever
Feels like a shitty fanshipping to me
I should have said teh only boy.
And that is just not true. She has been showing signs as far back as when Shuu went to confess to Kyoko. And then there was the chapter dedicated to her stalking Shuu because she knew another girl liked him. She got angry when that girl confessed, and felt relieved when he let her down. She was wondering why she felt that way the entire time.
That chapter was like a year ago. So it certainly isn't out of nowhere. This has been a thing for a while.
There hasn't been many chapters/progress between them at all
Shuu is always nice while she's always just mad at him for his vouyer ways which is his fucking choice
And the Kyoko chapter was like 80 chapters in or something...way too fucking late
Also she didn't stalk him she just happened to pass by and she had to hide when she realized what was going on
That was also the same chapter they started forcing Shuu/Ruri down our throats
I understand why peril like Ruri and Shu more then the main plot but it's a good thing they're not the main because Ruri would be in denial all series. At least Chitoge recognized her own feelings
Tsurezure Scans sure are taking long in releasing their version
I fucking hate how Viz drops honorifics
Their typesetting is pretty damn mediocre for a "professional" production too..not to mention they charge 26$ a year for their shitty digital magazine and fucking 15 bucks for a single volume
I've figured out why the series is so fucking stupid. The title was actually misunderstood the whole time:
Everyone thought that it meant nise (偽=fake) + koi (恋=love)
It was actually ni (二=two; the author's 2nd major work) + sekoi (せこい=petty / small-minded; the author's mindset after his first series got canceled)
Of all the things to criticize this manga for you really can't fucking criticize the title
The title makes perfect sense
It perfectly describes the serie's main plot-line which is Raku's and Chitoge's fake relationship
>implying it isn't about a fish pretending to be something it isn't, hence it being fake
The Ichijou clan will be revealed to be a mermaid yakuza gang in the ending, screencap this now
Not just that, Maiko said 「君こそ何を言ってるんだい」「今日は僕らの大切な結婚式の日じゃないか」my nihongo is not perfect but I think he's saying that is NOT the day of their wedding yet. "Hi janai ka" is a negation.
1000 year bloody war was worse. Honestly, this shit's what I expected fro. A fanfic. The reveals like the Zangetsu shit focus more on shock value than consistency and storytelling.
I don't know man...Quincy Nazi arc is horrible but at least it feels like it's trying compared to FKT where it was just one boring battle after another boring battle(which always had more talk than actual battling) in the same damn setting(the damn sky) all the fucking time
>Did it get worse than Hueco Mundo?
Yes...FKT was absolute torture
>I dropped it after the 100th random ex-espada or so.
Should have dropped it the moment Aizen was revealed and maybe
watch the dank Bount filler arc...that one was pretty cool imo
Its a question. Hes saying
>Isnt today our precious marriage day?
In japanese its polite to ask in negated form instead of just stating something. If you ask somebody out you also ask
>Wouldnt you go out with me?
Yeah I figure it out latter. Actually Maiko is saying that the day is finally come for her to use that dress, Ruri is asking herself why is she dressing like that and that she didn't understand what Shu meant, and he replies that he's talking about her, and then saying "is not the day of our precious wedding today?". Sometimes I get confused when I don't see the question mark, I forgot that か targets a question. Still, Viz translations are shit.
hey >>138097100 read this
They forgot to translate "始まる始めたの井同作業！？" which is the editor's note at the end of every chapter, although I can't understand very well, if any moon reader care to explain why 井同 is written しょうどう in furigana and not いどう?
