Probably the first season of Digimon. But that was just a "cartoon" as far as I knew.
The first time I actively watched something I knew was anime was probably an on-a-whim viewing of
Gurren Lagannon Netflix.
it was actually Girls Bravo on Netflix not sure if that's any better than pic related
Galaxy Express 999
Thinking about this show make me sad that today's anime have no morale.
It doesn't count if you didn't know it was an anime and thought it was just another cartoon.
My earliest anime I remeber watching was Armitage Poly Matrix, Lain, and Gatekeepers on Anime Unleashed.
First anime that I watched in Japanese was '' Another'' .
2bh I think it was Junjou Romantica. I've been scared to check it. I know that it included a teacher and buttseks. I was young and fucking autistic.
I can admit to have watched all kinds of garbage - Kampfer; Rosario Vampire; Oreimo; Kaichou wa maid.
But senpai I'm never telling anyone I've seen that .
I thought it to be the epitome of human arts at the time but now I realise it's just another shitty school slice of life trainwreck. Why can't I relive those glorious days? ;_;
Pilot Candidate was my first anime.
Late night on Cartoon Network
Explains why I like cat girls so much...
