How well-versed in /a/ on 90s anime?
Would /a/ ever watch an older series together collectively?
Slayers is a better fantasy anime
I'm pretty well versed in 90's mecha anime.
That's about it.
Of course, it's great.
Especially when you get to the
Knife edge death match
90's are the greatest
Just the right mix of action and comedy and the only time Japan ever got the fantasy genre right, minimal edgelord self-insertion garbage, and great animation if you dont' mind the occasional Saber Marionette-tier stylization.
Even if you're baiting it's a scary thought that there are people out there that holds your objectively wrong opinion.
Ranma's pretty popular on /a/ there's threads every now and again especially towards the end of the year
OP here. These webms are from OVA series and you can't remember compare it to animation from regular TV series.
Slayers is my fucking shit, only anime that can consistently make me actually laugh out loud.
So some kind of anime book club? We tried something like this on /vr/ and it was pretty fun, died fast since it's a relatively small board though.
Watching the first season and not hooked yet, although Lina is cute (thank based Megumi Hayashibara). Hoping it's worth the payoff as I've heard Slayers NEXT is very good.
Saw this gem today. 10/10
Quite a few such /a/ clubs exist and are thriving. There is no reason this wouldn't.
There was one dedicated to watching overly terrible anime. I don't remember the channel.
Though I meant just one series as OP asked
I'd say keep going. Depending on how far into season 1 you are I think it still has a chance to grow on you. I'm actually only half-way through Next myself but it's been pretty enjoyable so far. The character interactions are what sell it for me.
So which do you prefer more?
>Beautiful still frames without much action
>Lots of animation but more QUALITY
Is the TV series for this complete garbage?
