I mean, I know people who literally only watch dubs- and they say they're all good. I know people who watch shows in both, and they typically say there's a noticeable powergap between the dub and sub of most shows they like (Kyoani, Gainax, A-1).

I personally stay away from dubs, but I know people who prefer certain shows dubbed over subbed, so they can't all be bad.

The only thing wrong with the Azumanga dub is it ruined a few jokes where they actually are speaking English, that's common to all dubs though. Otherwise I think the characters were done well, especially Osaka. Also Kaorin is actually better in English.

One more thing...

All anime is dubbed, it's a fucking cartoon. There's not really any such thong as original voice track with animation
