>Conan reaches thousand chapters next year
>still no end in sight
Will we ever witness the end of Conan in this lifetime?

So is Rum confirmed a woman? Those are pretty womanly eyes or they look like they belong to the Akai-family.
They won't spoil his/her identity in a movie, right? But maybe a manga chapter where he/she is revealed will be out by then, they gave away Subaru's identity in a movie before it was aired in the anime after all.
You say that like the ending won't be open ended, non-conclusive, anti-climatic, or plain too quick anon.
Let it go until life itself destroys it. That is the true end of a series like this. After all Dragonball revived itself through the wishes of children.
science nerd spends all day in lab, virgin, smart, beautiful.
She's the perfect waifu.
Aoyama is at least still continuously producing with the about the same quality.
People just don't stop buying his work so why he has to stop it if he is still healthy and happy at his job?
274 cases in the manga. If they stumbled upon one case every day, that would be around 9 months. But let's not forget cases that happened over the course of a couple days or on holidays.
Plus 257 filler cases if we wanna count them so another 8 months.
I think around 9 months actually are supposed to have passed but if it's 6 months that means they had to solve two cases a day every couple days.
Not to forget there's been at least two valentine's cases I remember from the top of my head right now.
Man I've been waiting for years to hear what exactly their relationship was but it hasn't been mentioned lately.
If Gosho just drops this, doesn't have them interact again or pulls some other bullshit I'll be pissed.
There is something special about their relationship, right?
>Ai is the sister of Akai's dead gf
So what? There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If they fall in love with each other, let them get together. Akemi wants them to be happy anyway.
Only a few of the character development and the Black Org chapters are relevant. All the others take place after Shinichi defeated the Black Org and found out that he can't return to being an adult.
I think the handwave will be that barring a handful of cases crucial to the plot and/or character development, most cases will be regaled as "what ifs" where they COULD have happened, but didn't.
