>this hot piece of ass is only attracted to her flesh and blood brother who in turn completely asexual
Why is this allowed?
High standards, man.
Look, her own brother is already an Aryan ubermensch. Do you think she's going to settle for anything less? More, she's basically a walking nuke herself.
Assuming you weren't her fiancee (In which case she would just close her eyes and think of Nippon), you'd need to be a handsome Adonis with a sensitive artist's soul and enough firepower in your little finger to level a fleet of ships if you wanted to fuck her.
Like, why would a high-status girl like that give it up to a nobody?
No worries, she'll get over it, loli Miyuki wasn't lusting after him until he saved her life. Bloody Suzaku is supposed to be better looking anyway and Satou creates romance out of nowhere.
I really meant more in the mindset. Tatsuya's mind is what makes him superhuman. I cannot overstate how the Will to Power is what makes him the most dangerous motherfucker alive.
Seriously. He does not get bored. He has the discipline to follow the most efficient routine to turn him into a killing machine. He can ignore discomfort and pain.
These are insane advantages. Like, every one of us could theoretically run 12 KM every morning, eat only raw tofu, fruit and rice, then study for a law degree all in the same day. (For instance). But we can't do that, because we need a lot of 'dead time' to rest and relax. Tatsuya can do all that shit and come up smiling.
LNs are garbage with very few exceptions, and the current volumes aren't even translated. I can stomach this retarded ass series when there are pretty colors and explosions, but that's where my level of commitment ends.
In short no.
It depends on how you look at it.
See, on one level, this isn't a very good story. That is, narratively. There's no real conflict, because Tatsuya is effectively immortal and invincible. He is an unstoppable force in a world that is made of paper and cardboard.
On another level, however, it's an amazing story in that it's the Objectivist dream come true. Imagine a universe where Hitler was right: The Aryan race did exist. And after they won, a generation later, the children developed superpowers because of their pure blood.
If you're the kind of guy who's read so many stories about heroic underdogs to the point you fucking hate them and every YA adult protagonist ever written, you'll love Mahouka. The very first arc has a spunky kendo girl who is basically every shitty YA female protagonist ever written.
At the end of the arc, she is completely and totally crushed, and only the hero's benevolence (He's not even sexually interested in her. At most, he pities her, in that 'nobleman being generous to the filthy, unearned peasants' way) stops her from being erased.
It's amazing. If you read the series with the mindset that yes, these people are the superior race and - like you'd expect in a universe where 'will' and 'pluckiness' don't count for a lot - they're going to fucking steamroll everything.
The future is Oniisama's boot on your face. Forever. It's like 1984, but the Party is the heroic protagonist keeping the fucking proles in their place.
I need pretty colors and explosions when the writing is so bad, yes. Anime can be enjoyable on sheer flash alone, but all a LN has to speak for it are the words. If I'm going to dedicate the time to reading a print novel it's going to be something good.
Who cares about Miyuki when you have Mayummy. Onee-sans >>>>> imoutos.
I'll add that while this has been compared to SAO, it's completely different. See, the thing about SAO is that Kirito is basically a nice guy. He really is: He's chivalrous, he's gentlemanly, and he's fundamentally good-hearted.
Tatsuya is not.
Tatsuya is effectively a high-functioning sociopath, in that all his emotions have been scooped out of him, leaving only brotherly love. Think of how terrifying that is: You can only feel emotion when you're protecting your sister. You don't even feel desire when she's basically sending "Fuck me" signals, because that has been removed from your basic programming.
Tatsuya has a lot of friends, because he's polite, always happy to help, and is seemingly the alpha male to end all alpha males. He is completely selfless, he treats women with courtesy and just the right amount of wry amusement, and he would kill them all in a heartbeat if word came down from on high.
Also, he kills a lot of people. He kills them the way you'd casually kick over a nest of ants. No angst, no malice, it's just something he does. 10 GO TO 20 20 KILL CHINESE.
When you see things that way, when you realize that Tatsuya is effectively a walking zombie that is also the perfect man, the books become something transcendent.
He'll never fap or have sex though unless ordered to somehow. And if he does he'll only enjoy it a little bit.
Its kind of sad thinking that he'll always be at a low emotional operating level. Never the highs of joy or sorrow, just nigh buddha state all day.
He's practically a corpse right?
modern japanese magicians are byproduct of almost century old eugenics and interbreeding between elite East Asian magical bloodlines with European magical bloodlines plus genetic manipulation, Oniisama is in fact ubermensch among ubermensch, actually he transcends such term making 'living god' the only fitting definition.
>the current volumes aren't even translated.
I've translated up to volume 17.
Unfortunately I don't release my translations anymore, because when i was translating manga and doujins and they showed up on a paysite, I was told to suck it up.
When I get volume 18 I'll translate that too, but I don't owe you or anyone a goddamn thing. Suck it up.
best girl coming through
If you can read Japanese, who the fuck are you translating them for?
She doesn't suck at combat. Her physical abilities suck. Outside of Magic Power and talent at sniping she's a normie.
Depends. If you hate shows with stupid ass MCs that take the wrong choice all the time and keeps making the same mistakes, then this show is a god send.
There's practically no threat at all since he's so good at what he does so you might find that boring or slow, but I usually rememdy that feeling by watching more episodes.
Also, magic in this show is kinda disappointing and pretty unique that you have to abandon everything you know about magic from other shows to understand this one.
Step aside, faggots, true alpha Übermensch coming through.
Back when Tatsuya and Miyuki were first years only two people could beat her in a fight. She didn't fight much at Yokohama but had some impressive feats nonetheless. She's the typical overpowered wizard with 0 physical abilities, the big difference with her and Miyuki is that Miyuki is fit, even though she doesn't use physical moves in battle. That's why she was exhausted walking in volume 15. Tatsuya, Juumonji and Masaki fough the most, but she arguably fought more than the other magicians at Yokohama plus she was leading the others.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIS EYES
turn on the fucking light tatsuya
I'm actually looking forward to next volume. Who will catch Gu Jie or will he escape? I hope someone other than Tatsuya gets to shine personally.
You mean the library scene here? Where he said he'd partake of her if the cameras weren't on? That is her.
LN version. She wants it. In later volumes he walks in on her in changing room, she gets tipsy and he undresses her to tuck her in too.
Her father had Juumonji as one of her marriage candidates along with another clan's heir. But that didn't pan out and now her father is interested in Tatsuya instead to take him away from the Yotsuba.
What is it with onii-sans entrusting their imoutos to their rivals? Must be a trope.
I could read Miyuki praising all day.
It's like a poem dedicated to her. Sasuga Tsutomu.
