Feels kind of bad that they aren't going to have Araragi's monologues in the film, I actually really liked it when Araragi muses that it's probably the first time Kisshot had thanked a human before, added some weight when she says it.

Seems like a lot of those little tidbits would be lost in the movies without his inner thoughts, not that it would make the movies bad, just that they'd lose a bit of character.

I think Oishi wants Kizu to be its own thing. He's doing all sorts of things differently from both the novels and the series (for example, large-scale things like the character designs and art style to small-scale things like the way Araragi's room looks), and it seems very intentional.

I like the idea. They could have easily played it safe and made the movie just like the series, except with higher quality animation. But instead they're trying to make something completely unique that stands on its own.

I can understand somewhat due to the huge amount of pity and guilt he felt when he met her + her not really needing blood for most of Kizu because she's not complete so it wouldn't remind him.

Plus, of course, he's generally kind of slow when it comes to the big picture, all he could think about was helping Kisshot after she didn't kill him like he wanted and generally feeling sorry for her/turning human again.
