I actually enjoyed it far more than I thought it would. Just kind of took it for what it was and where Macross is at Post 7 it was kind of fun that way. Better than a lot of the shit I've tried lately at least.

Literally nothing about the information provided before the pre-air suggested that. Honestly I'm not sure how well redoing SDF's plot would work out. I'm not sure how much more you can really do with culture shock.

Nothing in Frontier or Delta so far has been that over the top with the actual power of music. In Frontier, it was about communication. Delta so far, it's only induced/cured madness, nothing more. Everything else with the performance was technology, most of which we've already seen.

I do hope it's explained exactly how they're controlling the drones. That was probably my biggest question with the performance.

I loved 0048, so the idea of the idols moving around and participating on the battlefield was nothing new.
