I don't feel like making a webm, but has anyone noticed how in the latest ep (06) there's a part where the characters move like cardboard cutouts? especially Yume
Pic related, it starts at 14:23.
I hate to be that guy but the LN art is so much better.
I agree with you, I'm only watching the anime to see how they adapt stuff, and I gotta say, as a stand alone anime it's pretty bad, they left out a lot of world building and stuff.
Why is the MC an aspie? I thought it was odd that his voice was so low, but I didn't really think anything of it until this ep, when he's yelling before the OP
That's a legit aspie scream. What's wrong with the VA?
holy sheet, Im dying
You mean this one, right? Holy shit A1, this is some shameful display.
I can think of a couple of things
They went and spent all their money on the guy that does the water color backgrounds.
Budget's gone by episode 6....I am so happy right now, not only are the characters retarded but so are the producers!
The only reason anyone is still watching this is for the psychological backlash that happens when they realize how shitty they are for killing all those innocent gobs.
A man has been arrested after biting out the eyes of his 4-year-old-son; after the attack he attempted to hack off his own feet with an axe.
It is thought his frenzy was caused by use of the potent and unpredictable hallucinogen PCP.
The man apparently attacked his young son whilst high on the drug, biting out one eye completely and severely damaging the other.
After this ocular assault he left the house in a wheelchair and proceeded to attempt to amputate his own feet with an axe.
Police responding to the incident found the boy in a severely injured state, with gruesome injuries to his eyes and hands. He reported “My daddy ate my eyes.”
The boy was hospitalised, though it is not clear whether vision in his remaining eye will be salvaged.
His father was apprehended at the scene with injuries to his ankles after having failed to lop off his feet. He was arrested, and faces charges including torture and cruelty to children.
Sad to say he did not comment on the taste or texture of the eyes in question.
This is what I need, moar!
"blah blah blah NA.....blah blah blah NAAAA....blah blah blah NAAAAAAA"
I like the Grimgar formula of intense fight scene --> comfy character interactions. The soundtrack is comfy as shit too. Why can't we get more series like this where everything isn't fastpaced, in your face, and over the top?
I thought there was a lot of still frames and overall QUALITY.
Pic related tho.
God that shit in the background triggers my autism so hard.
>sword that probably weighs like 50lbs
>green manlet with spaghetti arms blocks it with his short sword no problem
Oh man I'm glad I was the only one who saw this.
Moguzo is a fucking giant with a Berserk tier Greatsword and he's struggling with a tiny handaxe from a goblin.
Overall thought god episode. Quality dropping but that's to be expected
The director and script writer could have had so many approaches to this scene. One of them being, showing them climbing the stairs from their perspective so they don't have to animate it in the first place. Save the animation where it really matters.
Still DEEN though.
>Went to 2ch for discussion
>they talk about lightnovel, compare both version and the anime itself
>lel no budget, yume's ass, ranta husbando, merry a best
You guys are more retarded than nips.
You guys blaming A-1 for this episode, but actually they outsourced this episode to other studio.
>Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash (TV) : In-Between Animation, Production Cooperation (ep 6)
And you can see all animators of this episode are shitty Koreans.
That said, you can still blame them for outsourced to wrong studio.
But at least they spend
>8 animation director
>3 chief animation director
>1 action animation director
To try cover the mess from this outsource studio, otherwise this episode could become twin tail 2.0.
I honestly don't know how this is possible, considering the show's sponsorship and how the vast majority of shots in the show are background stills and characters posing with talking mouths.
That was too expected.
