>introduce Christian character
>portray him positively
Please tell me he turns out to be a villain. I'm enjoying this show, I don't wanna have to drop it.
Fucking faggot, guys that are deeply religious and are also cool guys are the best
Wolfwood deserves better than this shitty thread, so imma just gonna talk about Trigun.
>tfw we'll never get a high quality Trigun Maximum anime adaptation
>mfw Trigun gets the Hellsing treatment
I'll rewatch it this year just for Wolfwood and Milly
I watched Badlands Rumble pretty recently and although it doesn't add mych, it was pretty enjoyable and looked good. Especially compared to the old show.
If only Japs didn't have shit taste and we could get a based-off-the-manga TriMax anime, like how FMA got the Brotherhood remake.
Goes out like a boss in the manga, though.
I think he was a breath of fresh air. What other mc cries as often as he does? I can't think of another mc that is so happy from seeing a normal day that he cries. At the same time he's foolishly idealistic.
He dies and gets replaced by an even more christian guy.
OP do you, by any chance have a myspace and listen exclusively to Black Veil Brides?
What made you believe that the character had to agree with everything I wanted? I know what the premise of the show was but they didn't need to make him into a caricature of idealism.
Nice try, but if you were really this much of a fedora tipper you wouldn't be enjoying a show about a goofy pacifist who never kills
except Legato who not only deserved it but should've been shot much sooneror cuts himself while crying about his shitty life.
You know Adult Swim/Toonami really should try to get this ball rolling.
>people actually falling for this
Sho Hayami voice the evil church guys
Toonami has turned it's back on the classics, it's nothing but newer edgy shit they know teenagers will watch.
I still plan on watching it though because cold beer + toonami general = comfiest night of the week.
While it was suicidal, I'd hesitate to call it suicide by cop. It was closer to a suicide attack. His goal was to hurt Vash in a way no other opponent ever had. And he succeeded wonderfully.
Recently rewatched Trigun.
Out of 26 episodes 6 are enjoyable the rest is embarrassing.
Everyone has fond memories of it because the basic idea was good and the soundtrack awesome.
When people take the nostalgia googles off, they realize is shit.
you guys realize by making fun of atheists on 4chan you're just going to make reddit become christian then we have to turn atheist again
Didn't OP mean that the character would be more interesting if he turned out to be a villain? Maybe christian bashing is a custom for some people on 4chan, but this is a valid interpretation, right?
>bawww christians are backward and stupid and deserve to die haha rape and genocide
>bawww islamophobia your a racist who hates gays and women
>i'm so tolerant and intellectual
You're an angry, spoiled left-wing idiot and bigoted hypocrite who doesn't know jack shit about the world or real life. There is absolutely nothing caring or intelligent about your kind.
>I think this one fringe group of christians represent all christians so I don't like them
>ur stupid, look at this fringe group of muslims and hate all muslims instead
They don't have that kind of funding, not anymore atleast. Getting Space Dandy to air first probably took a lot out of them.
>Toonami has turned it's back on the classics
They kind of have to now, new shows or first premieres are the only thing that gives them high ratings. After the first 2 or 3 episodes, some shows really fall in ratings. Casuals are growing so old shows they used to play being brough back also helps, since casuals never seen those old shows.
I watched Trigun for the first time two years ago; it was good, but the manga was better in the end. Tough call at times though.
Manga and anime focused on different elements in a sense; for example the anime was about the girls more as they followed Vash, but the manga was more about Vash and Wolfwood.
Most Christians are decent people, though. Largely because Jesus isn't an oppressive warlord who tells you to behead people if they don't follow a stringent set of rules, and the New Testament tries to put something of a distance between itself and the Old Testament's love of trickery.
Atheist, BTW. Christianity has plenty of holes as it is. You're not doing atheism any favors by attacking a straw man.
Its a liberal thing usually, or maybe its a Tumblr thing, I forget. They hate the oppressive white religion, but love the freedom fighter underdog Muslim religion.
The result is that one usually gets slammed and mostly negative press, while the other, no matter what happens its "Yeah, but...".
After reading enough headlines, its a disturbing thing at times the slant on it.
The Islamic countries that ban art, prevent women from learning and force them to cover their skin, execute people for abandoning the religion, and stone women for being raped are not a fringe group.
Reminder to libtard Atheists:
To insult Christianity is to insult Islam. You wouldn't want to be racist, would you?
Isn't it racist to call Islam a race and think they're all Arabic? Fuck, most Muslim are South East Asian by this point.
It's like like thinking all southern US Christians are white when church and Christianity are a huge part of southern black life.
>tfw a nasheed started playing in my head when I looked at the image
