That was fast.
I have no clue myself but I think Funi is looking for success in anime that seem like they'd appeal to a Western audience. Maybe them being on the production committee means they're guaranteed the streaming license and are able to get the show onto something like AS faster. I'm sure that includes whatever pertains to releasing BDs and possibly merch. Just my guess, though.
>search Asthetica of a Rogue Hero
>it's a low budget harem animated by ARMS
So this anime was made with both the American and Japanese audiences in mind?
What's the point of robot doesn't have the same voice?
what did you expect?
funimation funded this shit just to appeal to westerners
too bad they will cut out the best parts
>Didn't their lineup last year include KLK
you mean in 10 years nostalgiafags will be saying why is modern anime so shit, why can't japan make more good anime like klk?
It has parasyte, dbz kai, samurai champloo, one piece, Naruto shippuden, and agk. I can't wait until they get rid of some of this shit and add another horrible anime like divine gate I would have a nice laugh.
>Implying they will have to censor robutt
op was lying again
the ed, tho, is 100 percent accurate
>Boohoo I hate these future kids begging for more westernized action shows
>Oh boy can't wait for Darker Than Black Roger Smith Gaiden to get more exposure in the west
Double standards much?
If they were going to censor shit, they would have done it in the simulcasts too.
>funi will probably sit on the Kekkai Sensen license until it expires without putting it on TV just like Darker Than Black
>meanwhile the show they paid money for will probably just flop because it's not actiony enough
when did I ever say I wanted Dimension W to get popular?
Looks like this show is flopping on Stalker. Poor studio 3hz, everything they make sells terribly. Maybe Toonami bux will save them.
>People actually watch Toonami
How does it feel to be lower tier than streaming?
Basically what other anons said: To find anime to appeal to Westerners. That and Dimension W probably fit into DeMarco's favourite/ideal anime best fit for the block.
Toonami is dead either way.
>Stupid question, but I'm going to assume this shit will be dubbed?
To answer your stupid question with a smart reply: Yes, Dimension W, like other Funi series is simuldub.
The cast is:
Kyoma Christopher R. Sabat
Albert Eric Vale
Mira Jad Saxton
Loser J. Michael Tatum
Mary Stephanie Young
Koorogi Josh Grelle
Shido Jeremy Schwartz
Kids who are new to anime are going to get a sexy robot to masturbate to. Pretty amazing. Imagine going back to being 13 and being able to learn about hentai and doujins in this day and age. Not sure my dick could survive.
Back in my day we had to use 28.8k modems and it would take us hours or days to even download a single anime episode. Kids these days don't know how good they have it.
Not likely. On Funimation behalf, they search for anime that will appeal to a Westerner audience. While Nips are conscious of their overseas audience, I doubt they think "Let's make an anime to appeal to a global audience. Fuck yeah, world domination!" Unless official staff said so during interviews.
>watching Space Cobra on VHS
God tier fap
>implying anyone watches Toonami to watch new anime
>Bebop, FLCL, Geass, KlK, Space Dandy and Titan all had really well done dubs.
>implying the Bebop and Dandy dubs aren't great
