Why would you want another season when the manga doesn't hurt your eyes from all the ugly people?
You ask that on the board that has Tokyo Ghoul generals?
The anime art style was better. Especially when you have Nakamura actually looking like a weird outcast instead of some hot as fuck chick no one talks to, because the latter makes no fucking sense.
Why would anyone watch this, and worse, want another season baffles me. Also, it sold little to nothing, wanting a S2 at this point when the manga is already finished is beyond delusional.
It's supposed to be ugly and unpleasant to watch. That's what reality is. The real world is ugly to look at. The real world is unpleasant to experience it. /a/ may bitch about the animation but the real reason why they don't like Aku no Hana is because it reminds them of what an awful world we live in and it reinforces in them what terrible people we all are. /a/ says that they want more deep, psychological-themed anime, but the truth is they can't handle it if there aren't cute/sexy girls involved like there are in Lain or Ergo Proxy.
The problem with aku no hana isnt that they look asian its that they're all blobby rotoscoped potatoes.
>cute/sexy girls involved like there are in Lain
I think the big bug eyes and harsh shadows on faces did a good job of making people in Lain look ugly
That's in certain frames. Most of the time Lain is cute.
Not to mention how ugly best girl would be with this artstyle. They'll have to go with any random tall Japanese woman for the rotoscoping.
Aku No Hana looks so weird because they exclude details we expect on human faces that are otherwise 100% realistic. They don't define noses most of the time, they aren't shaded, etc.
Look at the pic attached - her nose looks like two slits on a flat face. Her mouth is just an opening without any lip definition whatsoever.
It's possible to do realistic rotoscoping correctly. They didn't.
