Honestly, I kinda want to watch this. Lately I've come to appreciate the retardation of merchandise-driven kids anime.
Beyblades is a pretty good sports series to be honest kazoku. Just make sure to keep reminding yourself to ignore the fact that they never explain how they can telepathically control their beyblades.
Is it actually good though? Like, do the battles actually make sense? This is my only gripe and so many series just get it wrong. I don't mind asspulls as in Yu-gi-oh, but I prefer actual solutions over that.
Watch YGO Arc-V!
It has HETERO pandering and fun.
Also, episode 7 rule.
The dub is pretty funny, also Mimi's Mimis are nice.
GX is way too shit in season 1 and half of 2, after that go full drugs and DARKNESS.
5Ds was cool but the one VA in the main cast was caught in some sex cult bullshit. After that, they had to change a lot of things and turned shit.
Zexal is really retarded, only fanservice saves that shit.
Arc-V is the one most solid by far, but the arc we are now is really SLOW. But every chapter happend something important to the history, so you can't skip it. Marathon of this arc is really good, but for weekly pace is bad.
For me Arc-V is the best one because it explain the new summons and don't have any gay fanservice. I just hope they don't ruin the end.
DM is rather weak if you watch it again now, still the nostalgia element makes kinda fun.
Sure anon, be ready for fun one day.
But the Third season is pretty good and Metal Fight wasn't too bad until it's second season.
Speaking of Metal Fight
>Still no subs
Oh well, the new series is out soon and I'm pretty excited for that.
In all honesty Beyblade probably is the only anime with an edited OST in the dub that I really like.
>Not being at the ultimate stage of being able to enjoy everything
I for one have never hated on them, they're great content, for anime there's hundreds of episodes to watch, and the story has room to develop since it can take it slowly.
The only downside is filler.
I hated it 2 years ago. But after some search, I find out there's really good shounen out there.
Yes, there is garbage, but this apply in every genre or demographics in manga/anime.
It's more visible in shounen because of the huge marketing and fandom.
