Kiznaiver confirmed Spring 2016, OP by Boom Boom Satellites. New key visual.
Sushio is working on Kiznaiver, he is chief animation director. There was an interview with him and Yoneyama Mai. Imaishi isn't working on Kiznaiver, though; because he is working on Luluco.
Kiznaiver by Sushio
What? Twintails is the only one that qualifies.
Last batch of the main cast are also announced.
Tsuguhito Yuta: Nobunaga Shimazaki
Honoka Maki: Rina Satou
Yoshiharu Hisomu: Koutarou Nishiyama
>The anime's setting is a fictional Japanese city named Sugomori City. One day, Noriko Sonosaki tells her classmate Katsuhira Agata, "You have been selected to be a Kiznaiver." The Kizuna System, which allows Katsuhira to share his wounds, connects him to the classmates whose lives and personalities completely differ from his. The Kizuna System is an incomplete system for the implementation of world peace that connects people through wounds. All those who are connected to this system are called Kiznaivers. When one Kiznaiver is wounded, the system divides and transmits the wound among the other Kiznaivers. Sugomori City is built on reclaimed land, but as the years go by, the city's population is decreasing. The story is set in this town where Katsuhira and the others live.
I'll bet it will be just another episode, and if you didn't know he was writing it beforehand you would never be able to tell it was him.
You're the reason the SoL fanbase is so hated
You fucks can't take anything darker than your cute girls in high school shit without screaming edgy like retards
I hope you don't like Eva, because that was way edgier than KlK
But this also has cute girls. Just not realistic.
If a show changes the hair color to unnatural colors, they assume their audience is retarded and can't differentiate between characters on treats alone.
I mean make a show as hyped up and well recieved as Kill la Kill. Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace was quickly forgotten and Ninja Slayer was a bait and switch. Little Witch Academia is not a tv series so I won't mention it.
>literally sharing pain through cuts in their wrists
>MC is emotionally apathetic
So what are the odds that MC goes insane and kills everyone save for his love interest
KLK is edgy because the villain is not a nice person ? You could call almost every not SOL anime edgy with that kind of reasoning.
KLK isn't edgy at all, not a single good guy died, Ryuko never killed anyone, the violence is cartoony ... You're calling it edgy because you're a mindless parrot.
Considering it's Aniplex that's about the least surprising thing to see. They need a hype show for every season to drown out every other show (many of which are usual better just not nearly as advertised and hyped to shit) so it being a Spring is little surprise. Really the only surprise is the lack of Hiroyuki Sawano or Yuki Kajiura or some other hype composer on the staff.
What's awesome is that it's bad advertising too. It's always like look at this person we cast or look at that person doing the theme song or look at all this style and yet we learn fucking nothing more than that really. It's like there's a certain quota of press releases or trailers they have to show to make it "more important" than other stuff airing in Spring. Only in the anime scene would this be considered a good advertising campaign and realistically look at what it's gotten Aniplex the last several times they've tried this blanket advertising for an original campaign, mediocrity like Kill la Kill, Anthem of The Heart and Punch Line at best, abominations like A/Z and Guilty Crown at worst. Mark my words this show will be hugely popular but fucking bad.
I wouldn't be surprised if it has better production values than KLK because they see to be handling the production better in terms of schedule. KLK was really rushed and Trigger barely finished episodes in the second half. Hell, they barely finished episode 1 for the pre-screening. With Kiznaiver they're already done with the early episodes, probably because they're afraid of running into another KLK situation. The pre-screening will show the first two episodes.
Aniplex guy, as someone who himself spends like half his day telling random faggots online off for making stupid generalizations about cartoons, you really need a better hobby.
What a load of shit everything you just said is.
This isn't being written by any "hype" author, it's being written by Mari "a thousand shows per season" Okada. This isn't being directed by any "hype" director, it's being directed by "literally who?". The character designer is yet another non-hype newbie. You mentioned the lack of a "hype composer" yourself. What you're saying is nonsense.
>On December 31, 2014, Nakano revealed in a blog post on their official website that Kawashima's brain tumor issue had once again relapsed at the conclusion of their March 2014 tour, making it the fourth time he had suffered a relapse, and after diagnosis had only been given two more years to live. However, after they had read about boron neutron capture therapy, Kawashima underwent the procedure, all the while writing the new album. Kawashima was recently informed that the spread of the tumors had been successfully stopped, and the band decided to share the information with their fans. Nakano mentioned how proud he was for Kawashima to be able to go through the procedures, continue to tour, and write the album.
They should make a movie about these guys.
It just oozes typical Aniplex hype show clusterfuck from it's very pores. I guess we'll have to wait and see but I'm expecting it to be really fucking bad albeit of the big budget sort that makes you think what a waste
I'm not even arguing about what you're saying, I'm just telling you that spending all day writing the same ten paragraphs about every single show funded by a certain company is unhealthy even from a complete failure's perspective.
Yeah it's pretty much the sort of weepy teeny melodrama you'd expect from Okada and A-1, though not to the degree that AnoHana ended up as. It's very much the spiritual successor it was advertised to be so for once Aniplex advertising was kind of honest.
If the same shit keeps applying I don't see why it's on me. It's not every show they do though, mostly just their originals. They really seem to have this "we're just the best ever at putting on a show and this will be the best genre show ever too" bent to their advertising and hyping machine though it's not quite as bad as it was a few years ago. Somehow Aldnoah's situation which almost hit the level of not just hype marketing but outright shit-talking potential competitors (a Sony staple and first for the anime scene that I'm aware of) seems to have moderately silenced them in comparison to a few years back.
Also it's far from all day, I've literally been on the board for like a half hour maybe since Friday.
Yoneyama Mai did the character designs for Tokyo 7th Sisters under the MKS pseudonym.
> If the same shit keeps applying I don't see why it's on me
Crime keeps existing, but you don't see me writing rants about crime every three hours. At some point you've said your piece and should just let it go.
I don't think so, Trigger earned a lot of money with Kill la Kill and Ninja Slayer (yes this shit made money).
Also, the next animated series by Imaishi (not Luluco, a big one) will be fucking impressive but I can't say anything about it right now.
But story > animation, Who cares what it looks like, It's just a bonus if its good quality.
that's from their wiki page right? it's fairly old tho, Kawashima got already diagnosed with another brain tumor a few months ago (his 4th one now). I feel really sorry for this dude, just fuck cancer really.
anyway, even if the story's shit at least the opening will be great.
To me it's more Aniplex pushing the crap out of this sort of material. Okada is more of a means to an end. Personally I'm long past the point where weepy teen melodrama and angst could appeal to me in the absence of some really really REALLY good writing which is not going to happen here. This show just has "For the MAL" crowd written all over it and /a/ will probably shitpost the crap out of it too so enjoy another season of just pure grade shit from the anime scene.
>What's wrong with the second movie?
The 2nd movie checked off too much kid-movie stereotypes with rival gang who later become good, jerk ass bullies who later turn their head, main friendship in peril, and dumb adults in authority; all of these in only 45 minutes
They should stuck one aspect so it doesn't seem croweded
I know that, but you can only compare original anime to original anime in those terms. Manga adaptations will always start with a lot of followers. Dagashikashi will bomb as an anime yet the account has like 70k followers.
>Manga adaptations will always start with a lot of followers.
True, but original anime can overtake them if it was marketed hard enough. Joker game is an adaptation and it's lower than Kiznaiver.
Like I said, it's a way to judge initial interest, just the strength of marketing and popularity of the source material if there is any.
It's one way to see how popular a series is, Dagashikashi like most manga adaptations is only concerned with selling the source material.
The fact that a group doing the theme song can apparently make an entire show AOTY shows just how utterly meaningless the term is. You know what, I'm AOTY, you're AOTY, we're all AOTY!
