World Trigger's is the only chapter this week I have no problems with.
In fact, I like it a great deal.
Boku no Hero Academia >>137192861
Shokugeki no Souma >>137193586
Ah shit, I forgot the subject line.
WSJD, World Trigger
At least you can still find it in the catalog.
Also, Futaba please. The next thing you should do after your move getting figured out is use
>Also, Futaba please. The next thing you should do after your move getting figured out is use
It posted early! I'm a mess.
I was trying to say, the LAST thing you should do after your move getting figured out is use the same move again. This isn't Bleach.
The anime does that as censorship. In the manga, it's always looked like blood.
We'll have limbs chopped off and dripping flesh wounds in expedition arcs you bloodthirsty savages.
At least from what I remember Bail Out is dependent on HQ, although if they have a FOB version that would be fucking op.
Wen is so cool, not missing a beat once her jig is up.
Jeeze, Kuma has good eyes. I missed that.
She's off, though.
That's not it, but it's not drawn well.
It's one of those shots where the before and after of the action are depicted at once. Look closely and you can see that there's another depiction of her arms where she has swung down.
I hope something saves Wen and she's not just fucked here.
...There was an Owari no Seraph musical?
And Shun (Tosh) is talking about the new manga from this week. He was an assistant for the artist who draws it. The manga looks almost exactly like Tosh's artwork. It's freaky.
Small nations like Galopoula got use to clever tricks in order to defend themselves.
Gel shield dude is having trouble with Miwa and Yoneya.
We got a preview of what's inside the databook this week in Japanese Jump. It's going to have information for 130 members including agents we haven't really seen yet. The information will include Trigger Sets, 8-Point Parameters, and Family. Though all we got for the preview was Arashiyama.
Trion = 7
Attack = 7
Support = 9
Maneuverability = 7
Skill = 8
Firing range = 4
Command = 8
Special Tactics = 4
Total = 54
Gunner Trigger - Asteroid (Assault Rifle)
Gunner Trigger - Meteor (Assault Rifle)
Defence Trigger - Shield
Attacker Trigger - Scorpion
Option Trigger - Teleporter (prototype)
Defence Trigger - Shield
Option Trigger - Bagworm
So glad I found this series. havn't started the manga though, much difference?
First 15-20 chapters are slow but its better after it.
Welp, time to find a decent android comic reader app.
The databook is called the Border Briefing File whcih will be sold on March 4th. It's 388 pages which mean you can probably give somebody a concussion if you threw it at them hard enough. Every one of those 130 members will have their names and 8-Point Parameters listed, but some won't include the rest like trigger sets or family.
I think it's more along the lines of main hand/off hand, or primary trigger/secondary trigger. He mainly shoots stuff, so the Asteroid and Meteor are on his main trigger. He'll probably want to use the teleporter or the bagworm while he's using his gun, so he has them on his sub trigger.
And 40 pages of Q&A. Ashihara's a fucking mad man. There's talk of somebody scanning them and uploading it. If they do I'll try to find it.
It's much better, read it.
Hey I won't say you're wrong since it's your taste and all but a lot of stuff happen in the first 20 chapters.
Osamu/Yuma vs Mormod, Kitora vs Illgar, Yuma vs Miwa squad.
Maybe if you mean slow as in that there's no "goal" in sight I'll agree but still a lot of fun stuff happen during the first 20 chapters.
There's a bunch of Q&A on WT's Twitter
Things didn't really pick up until Yuma vs Miwa squad. Before that it was pretty much "Osamu/Kitora gets into trouble, Yuma saves the day" and "Osamu makes lame yet successful attempts to conceal Yuma existence/Yuma's alien origins". Pretty cliche stuff.
It wasn't until the Miwa squad stuff that demonstrated that Border's higher ups weren't retards who couldn't recognize suspicious behavior when they saw it, and demonstrated that Yuma wasn't invincible, that things began to really get interesting. It's also when we started getting into the squad tactics that are the series strong point.
>and demonstrated that Yuma wasn't invincible
He literally wipes the floor with the whole Miwa squad, while HOLDING BACK. I mean I know Yuma is not invincible but that fight didn't really show it.
WT is such an anomaly. Its not popular enough to get any covers but it sells well enough to continue the mango and have a 100+ episode anime series. Its seems like SJ isn't really even pushing it like they tried to do with toriko. Whatever i'm glad a series like this can continue to put out more and more chapters.
They're not pushing it AT ALL. You should thank Toei and Bamco for WT being as popular as it is now. JUMP gives 0 fucks about it.
It's a dangerous spot. Jump will easily cancel it if a new series promise POTENTIAL better sales
I dunno isn't WT like in the middle of all the popularity polls? Like the lower middle? I remember seeing numbers where it was either popularity or volume sales, something like that.
jump is probably banking on MHA becoming the next naruto.
At least it's in there.
>but the author has health problems.
ah, okay. Is it something really bad? or is it just weak constitution?
they'd be insane if they weren't trying to make it one already. I still think the anime is a mistake but you can't blame them for striking while the irons hot I suppose.
He wrecks the Miwa squad pretty well, sure, but it was not one sided. Before that, it was Yuma effortlessly destroying a couple trion soldiers without getting a scratch, and easily stopping the Illgar which Kitora couldn't do.
Then with the Miwa squad fight, Yoneya takes a stab at him, and gets in some cuts despite Yuma's attempts to dodge. Yuma tries to get out into the open to better maneuver, and gets his arm blown off by snipers mid-jump. He goes to block Miwa's weight bullet, and gets hit by it because he doesn't know a shield won't stop it and he needs to dodge it. Yes he was holding back and fighting defensively, but he was clearly in trouble by doing so.
>Is it something really bad?
It's horrible, to be frank, but "manageable". He has an incurable spine condition that gives him regular, terrible pain. Usually the series takes a break every 4 weeks because his output is slower due to back problems. I believe it's called cervical spondylosis.
He's not taken a break since the start of the year so I wonder if he's gotten any better. It was particularly bad toward the end of last year.
I see. I suffer from back pain too. I had three ruptured discs and my sciatic nerve being rubbed constantly by them. It would severely limit my ability to do anything, even using the toilet. So I can feel his pain if thats what he has. I hope he does physical therapy and got corrective surgery to help himself out. That shit is not fun at all.
you could send him a card you drew and send him a picture to him over twitter. Also buying the volumes when they come out probably helps him out too. Man I can't wait till vol 11 comes out I want that suwa cover.
The first 20 chapters are more fun as a re-read after you're comfortable with the series and the main characters.
Going back to read silly Yuma and Osamu shenanigans that never happen anymore gave me a good chuckle.
>The first 20 chapters are more fun as a re-read after you're comfortable with the series and the main characters.
I did that sometime around summer. Only thing awaiting us in future chapters is death, heartbreaks, misery, war and world building lore.
We've come so far from the first few chapters. It's kinda hard to believe that the two of them used to be a decent manzai duo.
>information for 130 members including agents we haven't really seen yet
>40 pagees of Q&A
Shit. Was going to import one anyway, since it's only ~880 yen plus shipping, but that's just fantastic.
I'm guessing this is what T2 currently has in their triggers:
>Yuma: Scorpion x2, Shield, Bagworm, Grasshopper
>Osamu: Raygust, Thruster, Asteroid, Shield, Bagworm, Spider
>Chika: Ibis, Lightning, Shield, Bagworm, Lead Bullet, maybe Egret
Instead of having empty slots, Osamu and Chika should just pack a Scorpion or two in case they need to pull off a few surprise last-ditch shanks on the opponent.
Would be cool to see Osamu add that to his trigger along with Hound.
Chika would be better off packing a Meteor than a Scorpion. It'd take a bunch of training for her to improve with a Scorpion to the point it'd be useful to her in any capacity. With a Meteor on the other hand, all she'd really need to do would be fire a strong one at the ground between her and an attacker that was closing in. She might take herself out in the blast, but she'd almost certainly get her attacker as well. People would become reluctant to take Chika out with melee pretty quickly if they knew it meant a huge meteor blast going off at their feet.
Even though it's generally not a good idea to assume that things that happen in spin-off games will happen in the main story, it would be really neat if his Viper use in Smash Borders was hinting at something that will happen eventually. Who knows, maybe he has the sense that Nasu and Izumi have that allows them to change the bullets' path on a whim.
As for Hound, his crappy trion is probably going to produce really slow, weak bullets.
Hound would be great for Chika. Meteor kamikaze sounds rad has hell, but if she spams super Hounds then she has a shot at walking away from the skirmish relatively unscathed.
