I'm annoyed by this monotonous nonsensical crap, /a/. This manga hasn't been good already for nearly 40 chapters or so. Only some Escanor and Dreifus moments can be called notable during this period.

For how long are they going to to keep Gowther, the most (if not only) interesting character out of focus? How long they will feed us this training/tournament shit, make Diana to lose memories and fixate on cringeworthy sugary Meliodas and Ban romantic subplots instead of devote time to someone more interesting like King or Escanor or flesh out new antagonists?

I'll admit that these past few chapters haven't been as HYPE as the ones before, but this stuff is still great. Lots of character development recently, even if there hasn't been too much fighting. But the manga has to go back and forth between the characters it focuses on. In time, it will get back to Gowther, Escanor, and the others. We just got out of an arc focusing on Galan, Merascylla, Escanor, Ban, and Jericho.

Also, considering that the last tournament arc is arguably the best one yet, I see no reason to not be excited about the next one.

More than anything in this series, I love how much importance Nakaba gives to buffs and debuffs. It's so so rare for them to matter, not just in manga, but in games sometimes as well, but here a buff is so strong it lets a normally mediocre attack take down the strongest character. The fact that he created a team of characters who pretty much only use debuffs in combination with one another (the Pleiades) feels very fresh, despite that the series sometimes gets shit for not being "original enough".
