You're removing what made those things special in the first place. Things are nice in small doses and when used in conjunction with other things like how people liked Touma's guest appearances in railgun. Making Accelerator the MC won't magically make the series better since Kamachi will adjust his writing style and write it differently. It will lead to something like Accel's shitty manga. You can tell they're trying to limit his appearance even in his own manga to make it feel more special when he appears to kick ass but it's still boring. I feel that a more interesting way would be to ask for more rotating stories where they change POVs so no one character is the focus all the time.
