Is there any seiyuu that makes you instantly pick up a show, regardless of how little its premise or anything might interest you?
Sure, although you don't need to search long for sumipe these days since and Mai is in a "never getting a role that has more than one line again" kind of situation.
Probably Nonaka Ai and Hirohashi Ryou, though I don't follow cast announcements of new series or stalk their twitter/blogs so it doesn't happen that much with new series.
I listen to Umasugi WAVE every week and Anigera every other, so picking up a show to hear him isn't that necessary. That being said, I like to hear his actual acting from time to time so the few shows I pick during a season usually have at least one with him.
By the way,

Midorikawa, Noto, Chiwa, Aoi...
Nowadays, voice acting is the main reason why I bother picking shows up in the first place.
>Mai is in a "never getting a role that has more than one line again" kind of situation
Tragic isn't it? She's my favourite and I'll always pick up a show with her in it. But lately it's been shitty harems. I mean, she's in Bahamut this season and it's terrible
Mikako Komatsu. she deserves more leading roles
Minako Kotobuki (I haven't been watching Aikatsu since the last quarter of 2014, though)
Always best girl
Even if she's voicing a man
Hay guys Nana Mizuki just turned 18 today
36 actually but you get what I mean
The best. Simply the best. I can still hear Dalian's "Yes~"
There's something about the slightly smokiness of the voice, shame she hasn't had any main roles lately.
Jouji Nakata, always enjoy his work. he made Noucome bearable.
Kanae Ito. Sometimes Hiroshi Kamiya and Nao Toyama.
Wakamoto, Sugita, Nakamura, Miyano, Hiroshi Kamiya, Uchiyama, Shinichiro Miki, Midorikawa
Miyuki Sawashiro, Saori Hayami, Satomi Sato, Marina Inoue, Maaya Uchida,
Not instantly, but I'm always tempted to try a show if I see Jun'ichi Kanemaru among the cast.
and Chiwa Saito.
Sadly last show with him as MC was so bad I couldn't finish it.
Definitely one of the only reasons to watch a dub.
I have many OP.
But this one is my 1# among males
and 1# among females
Shiori Izawa. Gangsta, Asterisk, even the Sega girls shorts. I hope they start giving her proper tsunderes soon.
Kappei Yamaguchi. He is the absolute best.
Norio Wakamoto too because Reuenthal was great and his other stuff is amazing in it's own way too.
The opposite effect: Mamoru Miyano. I will watch the dub if he is MC and I won't apologize for that. Can't stand his dopey voice. His voice sounds like the voice you would use to make fun of someone else's voice. Pretty sick of Hiroshi Kamiya as well because his voice never changes. When it fits it fits but the fucker is everywhere. Takeda from Haikyuu was the line.
>Mamoru Miyano. I will watch the dub if he is MC and I won't apologize for that.
Leave and never come back.
> His voice sounds like the voice you would use to make fun of someone else's voice.
I have gone through some shitty anime (and finished them) all for the sake of getting more Nao in my life.
I've only heard her in Gintama and FMA: B but he range in Gintama is incredible, its probably what makes Kagura one of the best characters. The Kagura funeral episodes had some of funniest voice work I've ever seen.
Plus when you put her with Sugita, of course you're going to get incredible acting.
Kamiya Hiroshi, Ono Daisuke, Jun Fukuyama and Wataru Hatano.
Sometimes the anime itself is so shitty it makes me suffer, but hey, that is the life of a seiyuufag.
Recently I have come to learn that the gap moe is strong with him.
He usually plays top tier best friend dudes or fierceless guys.
But based on what I have watched he seems to be a pretty shy and reserved man.
>I have gone through some shitty anime (and finished them) all for the sake of getting more Nao in my life.
is ikoku meiro no croisse worth watching just for nao? i'm tempted to
My nigga. Watched Dance with Devils just for him, his voice is so damn smooth.
Looking forward to the inevitable Idolish7 anime so I can hear him rant on about soba.
Mamoru Miyano, Jun Fukuyama, Kana Asumi, and my all-time favorite:
His blog entry was pretty sad but at least he has his singing career? I had hoped Hatano would be part of the new Utapri group so he could be recording with his bff.
Her whiny Ojou voice makes my dick rock solid.
well studio's forces her to be typecasted as generic tsundere since the shit is popular.
But she really has range see: FMA and Gintama.
Iori from IM@S although has similarity to the taiga voice
Mamo, Hosoya, Kensho, Kobayashi Yuu and Mitsuki Saiga
>Looking forward to the inevitable Idolish7 anime
You know that thing will be hell to watch, as much as I enjoy the cast and boys the drama is horrible and that's what they'll focus on.
I love serious Sugita villains. Kind of niche I guess, and I know he doesn't do serious half as well as he does comedy, but it might be the disorienting effect of hearing him just be a no-frills bad guy. The only other Serious Sugita Villains I can remember were in Nanana and Legend of Legendary Heroes, and then in Terra E he was a serious heroic mentor. And you keep expecting him to make a joke and he doesn't. It's chilling.
He needs to voice more characters with dialects. I recently watched Chihayafuru and
>mfw Arata speaks
>this many mentions of Akira Ishida
You are cool sometimes, /a/.
The megane one. Again. This is a type-cast I'm sick of seeing her in.
