Yes. I thought it was a pretty compelling horror story until the stairs scene. After that I was laughing my ass off nearly ever episode, especially during the ending.

Having a tragic accident is one thing but this show just gave us some of the most ridiculous death scenes that I've ever seen.

Berserk was also a pretty good comedy, with a hint of romance. However, it still doesn't match the expertise level of Seinfeld.

His stuff is almost always entertaining, but he isn't very good at "serious" shows. It's a shame, because it's pretty obvious he likes horror and will probably keep making shows like this in the future.

How did this show get so popular? I didn't even realise how big it was but it's basically Death Note-tier at this point online. What was remotely special or memorable about it beyond Akazawa?

I'm so glad I didn't drop the series when it was airing.
