Is this the greatest unintentional comedy of all-time?
Yes. I thought it was a pretty compelling horror story until the stairs scene. After that I was laughing my ass off nearly ever episode, especially during the ending.
Having a tragic accident is one thing but this show just gave us some of the most ridiculous death scenes that I've ever seen.
When I watched the show long after /a/ had lost interest I didn't find it funny at all. Then I made a thread about it and discovered the pie edits.
The show was essentially Final Destination but somehow more stupid.
Jesus Christ, is this from /pol/? I'd like to see their reactions.
I'm fairly certain that once upon a time there was an anime that ending in a pie fight. Ever since then pies have been a meme.
Also here have a pie fight:
>mfw the part where the teacher kills himself in front of the class
>she wants the D
The OC this show produced may be funnier than the show itself. By maybe a hair.
Wow. I don't like Trump but this guy is a dick.
His stuff is almost always entertaining, but he isn't very good at "serious" shows. It's a shame, because it's pretty obvious he likes horror and will probably keep making shows like this in the future.
How did this show get so popular? I didn't even realise how big it was but it's basically Death Note-tier at this point online. What was remotely special or memorable about it

Blood C and Valvrave were probably higher up the unintentional comedy scale, but that was a pretty good entrant to the category.
>everyone around that one guy dying in the burning mansion
>call pillar killing him
>pillar kills him
I think it was some guy who said one death scene made him think of pies or something. Some people picked up on it and put out edits for everyone else to repost until Another had become the pie anime.
The original was when that woman died in the elevator, there was a huge blood spatter that someone edited to look like her face fell into a pie.
After that it just kinda spiraled out of control.
I actually learned how much more likely you are to die on stairs than on an elevator.
I'm not conflicted whenever I enter a building. I usually go for stairs though since they're faster for most buildings.
Fuck you Akazawa was the worst part about it
Glad she got a painful death
