Guess what anons?
Translations never. Chinks translations are complete, gooks translations are complete even vietnamese translations are complete. I thought english was the most universally talked language? How come we are so fucking behind the others? And it's not even concerning only Mahouka but in general.
Technically, Chinese language is the most universally talked language
P.S: Second = Spanish
There just isn't a large English translation community for LNs. When one of the handful of people who does translate them decides to drop what they are working on, it tends to stay dropped. That being said, supposedly Mahouka is still being slowly worked on somewhere. We've gotten one more volume since it was licensed and there are promises of another soon.
Sadly English speaking countries are full of themselves being in the number 1 position, so there is fuck all in the way of skill base.
Not to say we don't have heavy hitters, but for the ten strong LN translating websites we got, China destroys that number, + other countries have feverish passion groups since they've always had to translate.
Even in the chinese - english translating community there are only networks of 3 to 12 people per web / light novel, with hardly any competitive groups between them that would speed up the process + quality.
Look at Eng subbing, it's gone to fucking shit in the last 3 years.
Mahou shoujo short story in V19? I am confused.
He notices that Miyuki is hiding things and disappointed, that Mayumi acts like someone in love around him, and that Masaki is similarly putting on fake smiles. When will Tatsuya just be frank with everyone?
From Lina manga. It's things like this that make me think Tatsuya would have considered Lina and Mayumi as "women" if it weren't for Miyuki's fits of jealousy.
She really is, even "mismatched" Lina is better than Miyuki all supposedly breathtaking in her furisode.
Tatsuya does get attracted but he can't love. Lina is stated to be as beautiful as Miyuki in the LN and one scene when he looked at her let him speechless and later he comes to really care about her a lot. I believe he could have been with Mayumi without his mental problems though. These two would have been the most likely without any doubt.
I think the entire world prefers Mayumi and she's grown in popularity even in nippon since the last volumes after the umbrella scene. Mayumi grabbed his hand which is more progress than Miyuki has made. Miyuki baked him a cake.
To be fair the siblings do these kind of things often during their dates but for Tatsuya it's nothing but brotherly affection, he doesn't care. That's why it's significant when it happens with other girls.
To his credit, he seems more attracted to girls than the other boys even being emotionally stunted. I don't remember Leo or Juumonji ever reacting to girls and Masaki never noticed girls until Miyuki.
Juumonji seems even more emotionless regarding love than Tatsuya. But they hinted that he liked girls like Erika in volume 4. Plus he can make her shut up with his sole presence, but he will most likely have a partner due to arranged marriage.
Anyone play this? Tatsuya has the darkness element while Ichijou has fire.
The parasites go away after Volume 13. Volume 14 is pretty boring and a setup. 15-16 are better, 17 is slower on action but good on clan politics if you're into that aspect of it. 18 is a mix of action, politics, setup and some romance dorama.
Mayumi is so lovely, she deserves to win more than anyone. Miyuki and Tatsuya have nothing but a master-slave relationship despite everything. To this day Miyuki's love for him feels nothing but a childish whim. If she used her head for a second she'd realize how he cannot love her beyond a sister.
Read the summaries on the wiki, it'll be too long to type. But basically Miyuki is expecting more why Tatsuya treats her the same and sees her as a sister as always. >>136254433
, >>136255274 and >>136258989 sum up a little what happened in volume 18.
I'm pretty sure there's a line where it says that their relationship has not changed one bit since the engagement. There are a few lines that you can interpret as possible future things of what may happen later depending on how you read the language. For sure something big will happen in the next volume, far too many characters having "a bad feeling about things."
As if any of the other girls were less generic. At least Miyuki lets us hear more of Saori Hayami's greatness.
That's probably her worst role ever. I don't think Mayumi and Honoka have generic designs. Maya-mom is also fantastic. Lina's VA for the game has a pleasing voice, makes me actually want a second season.
>Mayumi, Honoka, not generic
If there's any not that generic I would say it's Erika, even in her sluttier mode she is quite rare.
That bitch is seducing my ani-ue. If it wasn't for her Miyuki would be jealous of my relationship now.
It sells like hotcakes in nipland. It's translated in enough languages that I guess a fair number of others do. It's okay. Too many long-winded details, not enough focus on the actual interesting bits and no character development, character interactions also kind of suck.
Tatsuya and Miyuki are just engaged not married. Masaki's family objected to it because they are siblings and defective babies but really more because the father wanted to help his son.
>people there actually learn nihongo like you faggot would learn espanòl or francáis (and vice versa Japs learn their languages)
>wondering about why they get translations
This board is FULL of tards.
Erika is not waifu material. She's a brash tomboy that not many would be able to handle. She, is however, interesting in the sense that she has more of a clue than other girls about what's going on.
>How come we are so fucking behind the others?
Because they are hard-working people who went and fucking did it themselves, unlike you who does nothing but bitch and complain.
they watch/read it like it's a B-movie from the 60's, so bad it's good.
It's referred to as "The Legendary Hero who Annihilates China and Humilates America" among other things. It's a thing netizens use as evidence that all Japs are ultranationalist nutjobs.
I'm pretty sure it's what Russians think about every movie where they are the villains. It becomes humorous flattery. I heard Tatsuya has the potential to be even more OP and predict the future. At this point Mahouka just gets more and more ridiculous.
No, but being illiterate means you're pretty dumb.
Mein nigger. She'll be in the mahou shoujo side story from the illustration. We know from the author's afterword that she will be coming back to nippon permanently at some point but he didn't want to give away the details. She was mentioned a lot in volume 18 as the other transfer student they had.
18 had Valentine's Day stuff. Honoka gave Tatsuya a choco despite him saying he's engaged, it pissed off Miyuki that he accepted. Miyuki baked him a cake. Masaki got a record number being at 1st high temporarily.
Miyuki is hot as fuck, but then the pale skinned raven haired proper lady type always gets me hard as fuck.
She's really bland and generic compared to Mayumi.
Not sure about chance, but kind of sad for her that i really can't imagine she would end up with anyone beside Onii-sama.
Miyuki and Mayumi still have Masaki and Juumonji due to 10MC stuff.
Well, she's a normal high school girl. She can find someone else without being troubled by family issues. Miyuki and Mayumi lack her freedom. What is truly sad is that her genes made her Miyuki tier devoted so she has a kind of slave-like mentality like her.
She's from the Elemental magicians before the 10 labs for the 10 clans existed. A gene was added to them to have loyalty to their masters, they feared magicians would rebel and kill nonmagicians so they made them obedient with this added lotalty trait. I guess she sees Tatsuya as her master.
I feel really bad for Masaki. He's a really good boy and he isn't even trying to win Miyuki. When Honoka asks him to sit at their lunch table he doesn't say yes, he asks Miyuki first if that's really okay with her. He knows how odd the marriage objection was and how uncomfortable things are between everyone. All he wants to do is catch Gu Jie and go home. If the author continued making him a prick I could care less about his character, but now I just feel bad. His dad sort of belittled him too like son if you can't get this girl and catch terrorists like Tatsuya you might as well just go kill yourself and let your sister take over the clan.
He is committed to his engagement with Miyuki but he does acknowledge Masaki's feelings for her and that he looks sad seeing them together. That being said, Tatsuya isn't going to push anything without initiation from Miyuki. He does ask Miyuki if she gave Masaki chocolates, which of course she didn't. I'll be amazed if Tatsuya as much as asks Miyuki what's wrong. Miyuki has been looking more unhappy since their engagement. Tatsuya just doesn't get it because he just sees her as a sister.
This. Breeding with another strategic-class magician from another country is the best option for him to leave both Yotsuba and all the 10MC political problem, or Lina still considered as a Kudou?
There's an underwear one of her and Pixie but I can't find it.
Because she expected something different now that they're engaged but everything is just the same. Tatsuya notices sometimes that her smile is fake and that she hides something. There's a scene where eh comes at her classroom, she's happy thinking that he came to pick her and he flatly tells her he's here to talk to Masaki. This and he still accepts Honoka's chocolates.
He is because he has Yotsuba genes. If his children get the Yotsuba power up they can have either MI magic or something related to his Decomp/Restoration set. Most likely the latter.
BS magicians don't always have those genes to pass or are less likely. It's why Ono-sensei is still single at her age. Tatsuya may not be a true BS magician so it might be different.
But Ono is from a pleb tier family. Tatsuya is not, some people in pleb magician families don't inherit magics but it's not the case with the 10 families. Hence the marriage with other gifted mates. Even with Miyuki, Mayumi or Lina winning the bowl it's pretty certain the children would inherit talents.
What do you mean by level? He could have never got a normal life because he's born in one of these family. Tatsuya or Masaki can shit on Mikihiko with a finger flick. He's nowhere close to their level.
Not really working out to well for him. He also keeps messing up their practice exercise with Miyuki because her voice counting down was turning him on. It took him an hour to get it right. Then everyone teases him about it and Honoka rubs it in that Tatsuya got it right on the first time.
His calm behavior is not because of his lack of urges. What he lost are his urges and only that, it does make him colder when he's above the limit. Where he is like a robot, like in volume 15.
>because her voice counting down was turning him on
He can nuke them. He can't beat them all in combat. Put Miyuki + Katsushige or Fumiya against him and he loses. Taking one of them one on one would already be pretty difficult for him, besides Fumiya.
They were doing a practice exercise where you have to change the colors of balls in sequence and in exactly 30 seconds. It was meant to test magic control. One partner changes the colors and the other partner is supposed to countdown the last thirty seconds. Miyuki was Masaki's partner. She did it with ease in exactly 30 seconds. He kept rushing and finishing early. Then when she would countdown he'd get distracted turned on by her hot voice that he would forgot to keep track of the colors. Who can blame him really.
He did also say he'd never be able to beat Masaki + George together or that he'd win against Masaki alone if they went all out. Of course the story seems to show the contrary, that there's nobody he can't beat.
Not really, it would be nice if she got over her brocon and found a healthier way of giving back her life to Tatsuya. She expects things from Tatsuya that he can't give and she's only going to remain disappointed.
