This fucking manga is a pretty good example.
Tsuna devolving from being a total MAN the entire arc into bitch mode saying he isn't taking control. Happening after he finally took control of every single warring group in the arc to take down the big bads was so goddamn jarring and an insult.
It was really never that great to begin with. First 30 chapters or so were basically a gag manga anyways.
Every arc had potential but was subsequently squashed by bad writing. Ending especially.
Reborn improved chapter after chapter from the start of the Mukuro arc until the end of the Varia arc which was the peak and pretty good.
Then it slowly but constantly deteriorated in the future arc until it was iredeemable.
The ending was rushed and utter shit.
>making fun of a possible loli route when it started
>then it fucking happened
IT WAS A JOKE
My Wife Is Wagatsuma-san
It does end with a happy ending for the protagonist (kinda) . But I felt that that the ending could be better. I expected more of it with how the story started.
It ended the same as multiple little arcs in the Manga. I just felt kinda disappointed by it.

I really like the concept and reading it though. The idea of being in your future randomly while you sleep. And based of that making decisions so that you can secure something and see the results of your current doings in the future.
Pic unrelated? Because it wasn´t great to begin with. It was shit, to-love-ru MC without the ecchi.
Character development returned to 0. Reading the last chapter and the first, the MC acts the exact same.
I kind of liked that since Chun Lee was pretty top tier as well, but there should have been more in between the school part and the future ending. It was nice that the author actually said who wins and what exactly happens at the end of the story, but it could have been pulled off better. Not sure if it got cancelled or if he just didn't want to work on it anymore, either. It's a shame since it was really fun to read.
>tfw manga ending is as shitty as anime original ending
It took a huge nosedive in terms of quality around the time shitty Not! was released.
But that was a great ending. Hao was so overpowered any other way of defeating him would have been bullshit (like Yoh going power of friendship in the anime ending).
Arc before the last arc: HOLY SHIT IM THE STRONGEST PERSON IN THE WHOLE WORLD YOU MUST FIGHT ME.
MC of course wins. They are in the FUTURE where it is literally the strongest fucker alive.
Last Arc: They return to the present. LOL NO JK HERE IS SOMEONE EVEN STRONGER
Power levels are a dangerous drug, never use them as a plot device.
All I wanted was for him to give up on her and get with one of the other girls, or to at least have them address the fact they like each other properly.
But instead we got "lol sorry for disappearing the past few years, anyway I'm now your student" with no fucking resolution at all.
I'm still fucking angry
Cage of Eden
wow did I rage when this ended. Started off really good and interesting then it went downhill from the chimera arc and went all to shit at the end.
Still dont think I have fully recovered......
Ended with a half-assed rehash of End of Evangelion
