No Kizumonogatari thread?
Any of you were in Hamburg today?
Did you enjoy the movie?
Was it awkward watching blatant Hanekawa pantyshots with a bunch of people right next to you?
If you haven't seen it yet, when and where are you watching it?
>No Kizumonogatari thread?
Yes, because all of them turned into blog and meet up threads which belong on /soc/.And you are encouraging blogging and meet up shit as well. Kill yourself.
I was more interested in hearing opinions from people who already watched it today than meetups. I only wrote the last sentence to give those who haven't watched it yet something to talk about.
I mean there were over 100 people in the cinema today, surely someone browses /a/ and can give their impression?
I watched it in Hamburg and it was a weird experience. For the first time I watched an anime in the cinema and the german people were annoying.
The movie itself was good but also weird. It looked amazing but it was waaaay to short and almost nothing happened in it. Too many scenes with Araragi walking.
There is an active Monogatari thread.
And Kizu was pretty amazing.
>Was it awkward watching blatant Hanekawa pantyshots with a bunch of people right next to you?
Art isn't awkward.
It suprised me that there were quite a lot of people in Hamburg. It was short but good, but i left instantly after that because screw CG animes. I would not watch it even if I could have simply stayed in the room.
>and the german people were annoying.
Yeah it was really fucking annoying. So many people talking during the movie. I was hoping that it would be better for an anime movie but it really wasn't.
Also what the fuck was up with all those people being late? There were like 6 people who arrived after over 30 minutes had already passed. Not only is that annoying for everyone, you literally already missed the movie anyways, why not just go home instead of watching the last 5 minutes?
Same kek. Were you that guy in the 2nd row? If yes, you were the only decent looking guy in the cinema.
And like 5 minutes before the movie ended, 4-5 krauts decided to leave the cinema as well. That was weird. Were they bored by the second half?
>people buying these disgusting and overpriced Love Live cards
I want to vomit desu.
>And like 5 minutes before the movie ended, 4-5 krauts decided to leave the cinema as well. That was weird. Were they bored by the second half?
Maybe they were in a hurry like me to catch a train/bus. That is what happens when you take 8 hours of public transport only to watch 45 minutes of animu.
It was ok, I still think the original soundtrack in Bakemonogatari is the best one, but Kizu is ok, it fits the scenes.
It wasn't that bad.
There were a bunch of guys in the backrow who threw in comments before the movie started, but they shut up shortly after.
To think that I was inside the same dark, cramped room with other /a/nons makes my head dizzy.
It was really good in my opinion. I want to know what music they played during the credits.
The usual movie theater bullshit. People coming in late and blocking your view. People talking with their friends about the movie right next to you.
If you have ever been to a movie theater before you know how it goes.
It wasn't censored at all, they only censor stuff for television. Movie theater stuff is almost always uncensored unless in extreme examples.
You wanna start a fight, huh? Even though it's common knowledge that Bavaria is the best part of Germany?
Schleswig-Holstein is the only good Bundesland.
The ventilation system in German cinemas is the best in the world!
>suckers who let all their money being taken away from them from the north
>located right next to the Schluchtenscheißer
>not the worst Bundesland
Enjoying your cold weather, 50000 population city, cows and farms?
Berlin is the true pinnacle of Germany. We aren't the capital for nothing.
Thanks to the north sea the weather is neither too hot nor too cold.
And we aren't overrun with mudslimes (yet).
God, Hamburg frightened me, all those people around me. And worse, they didn't even look like me.
All for my dear Kiss-Shot.
>Was it awkward watching blatant Hanekawa pantyshots with a bunch of people right next to you?
Did they actually put the whole monologue in there or is it like the beginning of bake?
There is practically no action in the first part and the satisfaction comes with the character interaction.
I have no idea why anyone would watch this if he doesn't already like the characters or enjoy the visual direction of Monogatari. At best he will think it's some kind of art project and at worst Panty & Wind Simulator 2016.
I myself found the first season to be pretty dull and I couldn't exactly tell him to watch multiple parts just to go to a movie.
It's quite a miracle the first part gets shown in Germany as part of some festival. I'm not expecting for the other parts to make it.
I hope his friend isn't a normie. While the average anime watcher doesn't bat an eye for most things anymore, the things which happen in Bakemonogatari can be pretty extreme at times. If you do this wrong you will probably be labeled as pervert or something. And don't even try to recommend Nise.
I want to believe that Shaft was already in post-production when they announced Kizu being a thing. And that they were at least half-way through or more in terms of Kizu 2.
I mean, it would be unsound for them not to put em out as soon as possible. Owari ended before Mayoi Hell because that Arc refrences Kizu visually. Plus, the series starts its final two arcs after Mayoi Hell and I don't think Shaft would end the series without completing Kizu.
Of course, they may cuck us all by animating the Off-Season stuff, but I want to think they aren't that Jewish.
in the info dump video they say the reason they have kizu in the festival is because one of them likes bakemonogatari. (in the same sentence they say that the subs will be shit "kek")
Well the thing is, at the end of the first movie was a teaser for the second part. It's only a teaser afterall but they were only some voiced scenes and no visuals at all. Atleast showing off some footage would have calmed my heart a bit but I still fear for the worst.
>that Bavaria is the best part of Germany
How much scheisse can one man put out in a post.
The subs are perfectly fine. There wasn't a lot to translate anyway because Kizu doesn't have the typical monologues and the rest wasn't super complicated stuff.
Oddities is translated as Erscheinungen if you want to know.
Well the description itself is long, but the thing is he points out how it's forever burned into his eyes and he will never forget the sight. He then has to go out and buy porno mags because it makes him so horny and he feels guilty. That's when he meets Kiss shot.
Holy shit no one is going to waste their time and potentially get caught filming a chinese cartoon just to upload it for a bunch of filthy neckbeards online, especially when they would gain absolutely nothing from doing so.
Those were the only memorable things that stuck out to me.
I'm not fluid in japanese by any means, but the american Aniplex trailer translated it as "I'll let you save me" instead of "I'll make you save me", so there is really no excuse.
She is the Eisenblütige, heißblütige und kaltblütige Vampir. It's not difficult, is it?
I read the LN translation and remembered that she said "allow" instead of "make" him give her bloo, which fits her arrogant attitude much better. Atleast they didn't went full Commie and tried to go for "complete localization" or some such nonsense.
Yeah "Fühle dich geehrt mein Diener zu sein" doesn't fit with "Ich zwinge dich, mich zu retten".
It is just wrong.
Oh well, I just wanted to see this thing after 4 years of waiting. I can still watch it with good subs after the BDs are out, right?
Eh, who knows. Sure, each individual movie will probably gather a lukewarm response, but once all 3 movies have been released, subbed and can be watched as one, it could still get some decent praise and fall on the better side of anime movies.
You think Aniplex will combine the films into one movie after this for the BD release after Kizu 3, or keep them separate so everyone will have buy all three at exuberrant prices?
Oh, who am I kidding, this is Jewplex I'm talking about. And I'm sure someone is going to combine the three if they don't anyway.
>a lukewarm response
Part 1 is easily on the way to gross >1billion in the first run.
At the end we are mostlikely talking about >3billion for all three parts which would make it the highest grossing night-time anime movie.
The earliest release always garner the most interest, so many viewers who were potential fans of the whole movie but only watched the first one will probably no longer be on board for movies 2, 3, and 3-in-1.
Only Lain and Madoka have gotten bumped together with EoE, or Evangelion in general, into the "What the fuck am I watching" category.
And c'mon son, have you ever read a book? These things are quite tame. The public will still react with disgust because they'll say that the works are fictional, and cannot relate to real life in every sense.
I think I'm actually going to watch Second Season and finish up the series now. I was so mad at how mediocre Neko:Kuro was that I dropped the series.
also, Chicago dates when? Come on Musicbox
She was boring in Bake because Araragi started treating her like his god/encyclopedia, which ruined the banter between them.
She was pretty cool after tiger hair though.
the Musicbox only plans like a week in advance, give it time
Also, that theater has a fucking great aesthetic
>tfw deep dish and kissshot at the same time
