It's dangerous to go alone! Take this.
I haven't been so upset by a show having horrible production values in a long time.
Why does it have to look so awful? It's such a fun show, man. It deserves better.
does being based on Shirow's idea mean they girls are going to fuck?
I mean, picture related sounds promising, but if it was the case you'd think /u/ would be all over it.
So if they're robots they don't need to wear panties on screen right? Will this whole show be bare nude?
Threadly reminder that girls can't love other girls, let alone cyborg girls loving gynoids
Stop calling Nene a dork.
Nene is not a dork. She's a cool lady.
But they wear.
>makes cute loli robots to keep her company
>surrounds herself with young girls dressed in fetish-y costumes
Why is Uzal such a great lesbian?
Ugh they really butchered the guns. /k/ here, fucking dropped.
More like a huge shameless slut I'd say
Woah Buddy I don't mind that in slightest, airsoft shows have been great so far and this means we could get some in the future.
Nene would be me if I were a grill
If there's anything the last few months have taught me, it's that lesbians with BFGs are the best.
Sure thing boss.
>Super cute loli you can hug anytime and even do some docking with is going to die any second now
>Having shame or pride instead of doing anything to save her
Nene is fucking alpha and deserves to touch those cat ears
>not keeping the original stock
>curved grenade launcher
Having only watched the anime the manga makes what I'm watching absolute shit
I would have done that shit too.
She's too brown for my liking.
Airsoft, at least the ones without the orange tip is illegal in my country. I like the other ones with the lesbians though, its that Gainax one which sucked dick.
Is this the Mikagura of the season? Nene reminds me of Eruna.
I'm here for the cute girls, not /k/.
Do they ever kiss in the manga?
>Do they ever kiss in the manga?
Getting close my man.
Pleas tell me she'll come back. She's the main reason I'm even watching this thing.
There is one very suspicious frame in the OP.
No, it's just a meme to hate on it.
Seriously? She had to die because of an elevator's weight limit?
There's no way it wasn't just her plan to lie low and avoid awkward questions from the authorities about her weapon of mass destruction that went out of control.
If the elevator weight limit had been genuine she would have tried hacking.
The animation is great, but why is the music so shit?
Budget may be shit but they're faces are done well.
I'll provide you this!
*whips out dick*
As if you'd behave better if you had your personal loli
What do you call a girl like this?
Didn't mean to attach the image to that post, but oh well.
Anyone else here hyped for the upcoming Medabots game?
Edit of pic related when
Alright weebs, translate this.
If they ever get ported yeah, I always liked the designs of the bots and I find very funny how every character became a cute girl even though it apparently made the actual fans bloody mad.
Is this really yuri?
Clarin doesn't seem that into it.
There are two versions of the game like usual, MC of each game is one of the two girls up front. You get a partner with another girl and fight 2v2 battles and level up your relationship.
>Clarin doesn't seem that into it.
>Accessing the device named nature
>Infinite answers to the synopsis found
>Read Write Enter Code
>Sharing tools can lead to unavoidable situations
>Even my latest updates can't help explain why you're so nice to me
>Error Error Parameter
>Please help me understand where these emotions came from
>Find me at the end of this labyrinth of feelings I can no longer control
>I understand the concept of emotions but I can't make any sense of my own
>I want to pull out these cords and head straight to you
>I won't come to understand love (koi but not the fish) without having you here with me
Mirei can throw down when the chips are on the table, but she's otherwise pretty stoic and passive.
Not like I'm gonna archive it. I never archive simulcast rips. And shitty subs don't really bug me for a show like this, can get by with the limited Japanese I know anyway.
Please tell me this horrible thing isn't going to be prominent in the show.
Consider how much of a troll she is and how everyone else ran straight into the cops while she didn't. She had it all planned it out.
Regardless of whichever you consider the MC, one is basically a more emotional Rei clone and the other is sociable but not particularly outgoing.
Sasami is the opposite of genki
This show is so dumb, in a good way.
Nice to see the Pandra Device spelling being fixed in the ending. Also, the Pandoradio segment will really be new every week. That's good.
Unfortunately, the second episode felt a little bit underwhelming because of the rather unspectacular action sequences and the lack of entertaining music.
It was to be expected, since Gokumi doesn't really have a knack for awesome action scenes. I wonder what part AXsiZ takes on in Pandora.
Green eyes and blonde hair, but she doesn't have a fang. Probably a different person.
Wait she's not coming back? I thought that was just a joke? If you're serious I will drop this show right now. She was literally the reason I was watching, what the fuck.
Please tell me that the scientist lady Uzal lives right??
I havnt read the manga but damn I hate when they kill off a chracter too soon SAME SHIT HAPPENED IN OUTLAW STAR
i dont have a proper sa reaction to describe what im feeling right now
>not a lesbian
Out of curiosity, but by what metric for you? Because her main goal when trying to become Neviril's partner wasn't to get into her pants, or because the concept of sexuality in that setting is a bit complicated when taking into account the whole gender situation?
I do see her as a lesbian, though I do concede she probably doesn't have "obvious lesbian tendencies".
I should rewatch Simoun, it's been too long.
What did she mean by this?
all 6 gears are MC's you piece of shit.
both of them.
There are probably more non genki dykes.
They have a lot to do with colors and lack of details, making the impression worse. I have no idea why people watch those awful releases.
And no, production values aren't horrible, anime might not have big budget but it doesn't look bad.
>There are probably more non genki dykes.
In total? Sure, but lesbo MCs are predisposed towards being the energetic, naive kind of girl paired up with a more mature, more emotionally withdrawn girl.
People use funimation because they release the earliest subs. Which of course should be obvious, since they're the licensee.
Also, I doubt that the other anons who talk about horrible production values are only complaining about colors and lack of details.
You were asking why people watch funimation releases in the first place, and I explained it to you.
You were also claiming that funimation releases have worse color settings which makes the show look worse than it is, which is probably true, but I'm telling to you that those other anons aren't really complaining about that issue.
>asexual, but is attracted to women
Having now seen the OP, I'm not blown away but I was amused. Assuming it was intentional (and I don't see how it could not be) I also liked some of the references to their other works. The unfinished cyborg body rising to the water surface was pure GitS for example.
I also liked the reporter getting abused in shadow at the end.
Alright, why does Nene like that slut Clarion so much instead of the brown goddess?
Because she believes that Clarion is a person like her. A fellow little girl cyborg.
It's like cancer patients bonding with their fellow cancer patients, or anons bonding with other anons about anime on 4chan.
>Do terms like gay and straight have any meaning when the people in question have inorganic bodies
Sure? Just because you stick a human brain in another body doesn't change what the person will identify as or the physical shape they'll be attracted too. Particularly since this work includes Masamune's input. Why would people give up on sex just because of a prosthetic? If we look at reality, the effort if anything is the opposite, like that new penis transplant procedure they're trying to perfect.
>with no genitals
I'm not sure if that's reality or just that they don't show anything, just like in most non-h manga/anime naked people are depicted not merely without genitals but often no nipples either. Realistically, cyborgs aren't robots, as long as there is an organic brain there will still be a need for nutrient inputs and waste outputs, can't just run on pure electricity. If you have to have a waste output ANYWAY, might as well coopt natural design in form, even if the inner workings are different.
>and no longer reproduce sexually?
People who are sterile, get vasectomies, and so forth aren't necessarily asexual anon. If they did want to reproduce it'd still be using "sexual reproduction" in the biological sense, even though it'd be grown outside their own bodies.
They do, considering they shouldn't experience sexual attraction like biological beings like us do.
So, since they show sexual interest in others, they can be classified just like humans are.
>They do, considering they shouldn't experience sexual attraction like biological beings like us do.
Seriously why do so many people think that a cyborg is the same thing as a robot or AI? Do you fags think people with pace makers or fake legs or arms or whatever today suddenly stop thinking about sex? Hell, even if it was a robot/AI nothing stopping the creators from making them want sex. Might even be a smart idea to help keep them from getting too far away from humanity too fast.
>They have a lot to do with colors and lack of details, making the impression worse. I have no idea why people watch those awful releases.
I just got back into anime again after a break due to other issues, and honestly I'm having trouble finding review comparisons. A lot of the places I used to go to are gone, and a lot of my old go-to sub groups are apparently now dead. I know how to correct some of Funi's major issues with stuff like colormatrix-input-range, but yes they're terrible as always. Still, I'm not sure who else to go with yet, and I read the manga already (well, first 4 volumes anyway) so I have a decent mental image of what's going on anyway.
Do you have any recommendations for your favorite Pandora sub group? Or more generally, where you go nowadays (if anywhere but /a/) to get comparisons? If you just download every release then good I guess, I have shitty capped internet though and I need to watch the gigs unfortunately, even in 2016.
>Do you fags think people with pace makers or fake legs or arms or whatever today suddenly stop thinking about sex?
No, but these are people who lost all of their biological bodies and got a robotic one instead.
>even if it was a robot/AI nothing stopping the creators from making them want sex
How though? Consider many things go on in our bodies when we get aroused. So, unless the cyborg has an artificial body made to replicate an organic one, I don't see how a cyborg with a regular robotic body could experience sexual attraction.
If I were to place your brain in some kind of artificial body - leaving aside the possibility of a highly advanced body which was designed to mimic a human body perfectly (limitations included) - you're likely to begin exhibiting a different kind of behaviour at some point, since what you can and cannot do is entirely different.
This series is great. It's clearly low budget but it's still a lot of fun. These two are so damn cute together.
>Name me a single female MC with obvious lesbian tendencies who isn't genki as fuck
wonder how many people on modern /a/ even remember this
>Consider many things go on in our bodies when we get aroused.
Ultimately to the brain though it just boils down to a bunch of nervous signals firing up the CNS, same as any other action. You're honestly making it some sort of crazy impossible thing, but it's not. "Heart rate" changes, hormone release, and all that as well are perfectly possible to simulate, and we aren't conscious of them anyway. If we're assuming we've got the tech to get the point of things like simulating touch period, or muscle control period, going from there to having higher density sensors on genitals/wherever is hardly some paradigm shit.
>So, unless the cyborg has an artificial body made to replicate an organic one
>leaving aside the possibility of a highly advanced body which was designed to mimic a human body
Why the actual hell would you "leave that aside"?? Even if you, personally, have zero sex drive or interest in it, surely you can objectively recognize that most of humanity is big on sex. Sex is hugely important and popular. And cyborgs are going to be commercial technology like everything else, developed to match customer interests, by people who want to make money. Some sort of sexual ability will be an absolutely overwhelmingly demanded feature for widespread full body cyberization. It will absolutely have massive R&D devoted to it. What kind of reality are you living in where you could possibly imagine it'd be any other way?
Samefag here, now that I think about it more, if anything it'll be MORE extreme not less. Opposite of sexless, as soon as the tech matures even remotely enough I expect people to rapidly start experimenting with sexual stimulation that's completely impossible for a human body. Plain straight/gay/lesbian or even futa will be the tamest, it'll go full /d/. There may well have to be mandated limits
which will probably have black-market bypasses in turnjust to keep people from flipping an "orgasm switch" and frying their brains continously cumming for 12 hours in a row.
>that constant lab worker abuse
>"Let's get this over with!"
>"Here we go to die!"
Betaying Uzal-sama was a mistake. - Labrats
As in she has a preference to women, but has no interest in sex at all. Should learn to use a dictionary sometime.
>Without sexual feelings or associations
>Asexuality (or nonsexuality) is the lack of sexual attraction to anyone, or low or absent interest in sexual activity
This episode contained a lot of BUDGET
Still very enjoyable.
Also Sunrise pose for the collection
>implying doing away with dolljoints is more worthy of hundreds of billions in R&D then sex
Anon please. And it's not like the dolljoints seem to cause them the slightest difficulty in terms of actual functionality. Obviously if it was truly bothersome they could just wear stockings or put some latex over it or something. On the other hand lacking taste/smell/touch would be awful.
You'll notice that SCIENCE did carefully implement cybernetic blushing technology in those girls. These folks clearly have their priorities in the right place.
>For this show the best is Dame Desu Yo
Oh, have they gotten better again? They did ok work back in 2014, but the last time I saw them was Classroom Crisis and holy fuck what happened there.
>DDY is a solid subgroup
I guess I'll give them another shot then. I tend to get suspicious after a group does a real turd, but I realize that's not always fair longer term given how much staff cycling can happen even in just 6 months.
Anon, that's ridiculous. She and Shizuru are two of the biggest dykes in anime history.
Or is this thread just turning into a yurifag trolling ground? Starting to look that way.
They are both dorks.
>What was so bad about it?
Almost everything, right down to basic spelling errors (as in actual non-words, something running "spell check" in Aegisub would fix, not merely screwing up a homophone). It wasn't literally unwatchable funiglish no-rin tier, but it was pretty mediocre. Looking back though begna claimed one of their main editors was away for a bit so there's that, but I fucking dropped them at ep2 and never checked again. Maybe they got better or fixed it in a batch.
Again in fairness though they've done some A-tier work too. I feel like if you're missing someone key and can't do a good release it's better to simply delay and tell people "sorry we're missing someone this week" then drop a turd, but depending on the competition maybe sometimes it's still better then nothing.
No. Fuck you.
Shizuma Hanazono is literally the most cancerous girl from the most cancerous NTR show ever produced.
Not genki so she counts, Tamaofag. It's been ten years, let it go.
>almost a decade later and Tamaofags are still this mad
>NTR when Shizuma literally met her first and Tamao self-friendzoned and wall-flowered
Tamao was massively better in every way when she was called "Tomoyo" and it's not NTR when you never put in romantic effort in the first place.
If NTR is to have ANY meaning Strawberry Panic was it.
She's a borderline case. Despite being a reliable oujo and onee-san, she was pretty energetic...or at least enthusiastic about her love for Nanyako.
There are many areas where "legally" refers to a positive assertion only, the counterpart is merely undefined and the State takes no position either way. If someone is actually legally certified as mentally unfit, which requires a whole set of regulated testing at a certified tester, often repeatedly over time, then that has legal consequences (they can't legally make certain decisions for themselves anymore). But if that hasn't happened then... nothing. That's the default state.
It's not NTR if you're not in a relationship, dumbass. Tamao was a beta and she got outplayed by an alpha, simple as that.
"cuck" is a shortened form of "cuckold."
"cuckold" is an antiquated term used to denote a husband with an adulterous wife, named after a type of bird that lays its eggs in another bird's nest.
So, the answer would probably just be "cuckold" before 4chan decided to shorten it to "cuck."
>Shizuma: I love you Nagisa, as in romantically, as-in I want to kiss you, have sex with you, and spend the rest of our lives together
>Tamao: Let's watch leaves *wink wink*
Bitch please. Shizuma had lots of flaws and emotional baggage out the ass but there was no dishonesty, she made very clear she was interested in and pursuing Nagisa very early. No sneaky "oh we're just friends so it's fine to bathe together while I lust after you secretly" shit. She wanted Nagisa and worked and fought for it. You delusional Tamaofags act like being a second comer who just acts as a friend towards someone obviously somewhat clueless grants some sort of ownership of them. That's not how it works.
Shizuma had a chance of winning Nagisa's heart because Nagisa never saw her as anything but girlfriend material and things progressed from there. She could have ended up failing, but winning can't happen if you don't even show up at the starting line or run the race at all.
To your image: it was a friend asking her vs her love interest. Not exactly hard to predict how most girls are going to fall there anon. It wasn't between two love interests.
Shizuma never loved Nagisa romantically you retard. Read the LNs.
Shizuma only went after Nagisa because Nagisa reminded her of Kaori. Kaori was Shizuma's former fuck toy before she died from something, likely a venereal disease from Shizuma "I fuck anything that moves" Hanazono.
Whereas Tamao was clearly caring for Nagisa since episode 1.
The LNs also had a Kaname who wasn't interested in raping anyone and lusted after Amane, but respected her personal space enough to not push things when Amane said she wasn't interested.
The LN also had a Yaya fucked everything that moved, including Shizuma. The only reason she stopped raping Hikari was because she felt bad that Hikari was too dense to realize she was about to be raped when Yaya stripped her and started groping her.
>tries to invoke the LN on /a/ like anyone gives a fuck about something other then then anime or maybe manga
>then immediately switches to "ep 1"
>can't refute obvious facts on tamao's omega status
Strawberry Panic was a story of true love triumphing over hardship deal with it.
>implying Shizuma overcoming her lingering regrets about Kaori and coming to truly love Nagisa for herself wasn't the entire fucking plot of the anime
Can you faggots go create a thread in /u/ for this shit. You even remember what the thread is about anymore?
>Implying SP wasn't propaganda funded by big companies to fight against climate change initiatives
I make this mistake all the time too, guys. "Koukaku no Pandora" looks so similar to "Strawberry Panic", doesn't it? I can hardly tell the titles apart.
They have the attention span of a goldfish. Give them a minute and they'll be talking about farting monkeys.
>Shizuma in the LNs
>"I never loved Nagisa."
>Shizuma in the anime
>"I never loved Nagisa."
She doesn't love Nagisa.
>these people are talking about the thing I'm not interested in
>let me complain about them talking about the think I'm not interested in instead of starting a discussion about the thing I'm interested in, that'll show 'em
Yeah, that's the problem. Not the fact that they're talking about a series that has nothing to do with the series that this thread is supposed to be about.
Lesbian kittylolibots and bitches ahoy.
So Uzal just left Clarion with Nene, a girl they just met a few hours ago. Clarion didn't even seem to mind much. What exactly is the relationship between Uzal and Clarion? Does Clarion just not care about anyone?
Uzal (and you shouldn't be surprised by this) has a lot more background knowledge then she's spelled out. She's got some reasoning given the situation and where she knows they're going next.
Would it make much difference? She never treats it any differently, Nene is already on her way to max heart status and wouldn't love Clarin any less or act any more dominating or whatever regardless.
Clarion reminds me of Akari whenever I see her. Was it intentional?
I'm the biggest yurifag on the planet but YKA didn't even register as yuri to me. It's not even really about lesbians, it's all a metaphor in the service of Ikuhara's philosophical musings on the nature of society and groupthink. There was no romance and no understanding between the "characters" - by which I mean the walking talking chesspieces Ikuhara moved around the board to get his point across.
It gave us some nice topical reaction images, but other than that it did nothing for me.
Since Akari is a lesbian with a taste for little girls, yes.
>Yuri Kuma Arashi
Nah, Utena had an actual story with character development. It had symbolism but it was also telling a story for its own sake. It had to have been thanks to the other members of Be-Papas though I guess, because MPD was also a mess. Ikuhara is a skilled director in terms of visuals elements and themes but he needs someone good at the story's tiller.
Yeah, but no matter how allegorical the work, there still exists a surface and that surface was lesbian girl wants to shoot bears and then falls in love with one. Snowpiercer is still ostensibly people living on a train no matter how nonsensical that premise is. Sky Crawlers is still undying teen pilots. So I think we can safely call Yurikuma yuri even if that's not really the point.
I don't get it either. Some are horribly maligned/bad but AoT and In Search of Lost Time/ Ushinawareta Mirai wo Mitomete were just horridly average. I know /a/ hates AoT so that's why it gets a slot probably, but UMM is just generic so who cares. Rekan is bad, but at least comfily watchable.
And again, YKA shouldn't be on a troll list at all.
Why does everyone pretend this is an excuse?
"Saekano is good because it's self-aware of the cliches it's using"
"Medaka Box is aware of Shonen conventions"
A person who admits they're fat and then continues shoving butter down their throat while talking about how fat it's going to make them isn't going to become more skinny.
A thing doesn't have to be good to be enjoyable, Anon. The important thing is that it has no pretensions of being more than it is.
I enjoyed Green Green, but it's so bad that I would never recommend it to anyone ever. You can watch Hollywood B-movies and enjoy them as well, and that doesn't make them any better.
>It kinda bothers me that those are roses instead of lilies
Doesn't bother me.
I'm so sick of seeing yuri artists draw white lilies. There are literally thousands of flowers.
Stop being lazy fucks, Japan.
I expected some cool easteregg and got nothing.
Damn son, you're right.
This episode needs a few stitches.
I wonder if Dr. Kabapu's black cousin will be more successful at keeping the city safe
What the fuck? Look what eye cancer Sidonia was, and how popular it is.
Re-kan looked like it was produced in SD. Why care? Do you not watch pre-HD anime from the 00s?
It had a kogyaru ghost-girl. Your argument is invalid.
This show is super interesting.
I didn't watch Sidonia for the same reason, and while watching Re-Kan my eyes started hurting because apparently my brain thought the blurry lines came from my eyes not being adjusted correctly. Also the color palette was really ugly, and I'm mostly angry because the show was quite cute and had potential, it didn't deserve an ugly adaption like that.
>give some emotionally loaded but valid criticism
>lol look at all that autism
>Re-Kan's low visual quality is not an objective problem to be criticized
Okay, whatever makes you happy.
>the key to disabling the BUER is putting glasses on a statue
Yes, objective, that word does have instances where it can be used correctly and this is one.
>f/a/ggots sperging in my comfy thread about other shows
Here's a random screenshot of old anime. The visual quality is terrible. You dismiss it all as worst anime?
Not that autist, but this is a retarded mentality. Today's technologies allow for better quality animation, why would you settle for shit? It's like saying "intolerance for blurry textures in vidya is only displaying your newfaggotry". Yes, vidya used to be blurry before because of technical reasons, there's no need for them to be shitty now unless devs are lazy or doing it for free.
>there are newfags who consider pic related as QUALITY because the eyes are not drawn out and the proportions are off
