I liked the dog adding to the story and it was my personal AOTS. Didn't watch it together with /a/ so that might've helped

No i love dogs, but that dog in particular added NOTHING to the series and just ruined the scenes focused on him.

The series had a neat concept and the first episode was infact alright but anytime they were in serious trouble they would magically find a solution to the problem

The Medication did infact exist and worked in the very early stages of the infection. Just shows that the government knew about the possibility of this shit getting out, still severely underestimating the speed of it spreading out!

It didn't, though. The school was specifically built to be a self-sufficient shelter in the case of an outbreak. The current arc is even exploring what the deal with the notUmbrella company who was involved is.

Is this worth finishing? I've been keeping up with and thoroughly enjoying the manga since mid 2014 but dropped the anime after a couple episodes because it just felt kind of bland comparatively.
