I think Meiko is going to get a whole lot of hate in the future if she is used as a straight up love interest for anybody. Any screen time used on her could be used on the original 8. She needs to be plot relevant without being overbearing.

You don't seem to realise that this is one of the core mechanic of the v-pets and of any games based on them. They won't ever change this.

I do hope for a larger world (Folder Continent please rather than fucking File Island again) and a really varied roster though. There are so many great older designs that are never used, like Floramon and her evolutions, everything from Ver. 5 of the original v-pets, or Shakomon and all the invertebrates it can evolve into.
