Tamako Love Story was so much better than the TV series. I would've liked to see more after the ending though, I hope he was only planning on Tokyo if Tamako said no, how can he turn down running a mochi store with her in favour of moving far away for a few years to learn about film making?

Tamako After Story when?

How well did Tamako sell? It was one of the sweetest things I've watched.

From memory I think it was in the ballpark of 5k-6k

They are pure enough to pull of a long distance relationship. She'll be waiting for him when he comes back.

I still think it would be a shame for them to miss out on most of that time they could be sharing though. He'll probably end up running a mochi store with Tamako in the end anyway and university will cost a lot of money that he doesn't have.

They will have their whole lives together, anon.

Going off to school was always the second option for him. That's why he confesses to Tamako before he commits to it, because he wants to stay with her if she'll have him.

>Tamako Love Story was so much better than the TV series
That's what shipper faggots actually believe.

I greatly enjoyed the series and the movie, but the movie is a bit more... how you say, exciting?

>Implying /u/ fags butthurt about Tamako not being into girls aren't the only ones who dislike Tamako Love Story
Is episode 9 the best thing that Kyoani has put out in recent memory? I think it's on par with their older stuff but damn it was spectacular.

As much as I enjoyed the series it was a little boring at times. I'm grateful for any well executed, heartwarming SoL series with little drama though.

The whole show along with Eupho is the best they've done post-Kadokawa. I'm a Yamada sackrider though.

I can't help but think it would put a big damper on their relationship, their youth will be almost over by the time he comes back.
