>There will never be an anime as beautiful or as magical as The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.
>You'll never get to see Sasaki.
Life is indeed suffering.
This. Going back to Haruhi now is nostalgic, and I appreciate the way the series flipped out and did whatever it wanted, but it's really nothing amazing.
Still holds up
>North High uniform
>genki as fuck
I appreciate them at least moving forward and attaching themselves to new things. They probably don't even feel as strongly about the material as they once did.
Plus it seems like they gravitate towards source material that allows for as much creative liberties as possible. Haruhi is the worst example of that since it's source has it's world and characters already figured out, as opposed to something like Hibike which is literally "a girl joins and band and stuff happens". KyoAni seems to prefer filling in the blanks now.
I just want a new novel.
I want to know what Kyon got Haruhi.
I want Kadokawa to have a reason to promote it by getting KyoAni to make a new season.
How fucking hard is it to shit out 200 pages of a fucking novel aimed at teenagers. The Yahari author shotguns that shit out.
