Trigger is here to save Okada's career.
Going by that interview, Sushio is working in Kiznaiver as chief key animation director. He is working with Yoneyama Mai and both fixing the drawings of other animators and animating the big scenes.
Some notes from the NewType interview (pictured in OP) with Sushio and Yoneyama Mai:
Sushio was very supportive of Yoneyama taking the role of character designer; he thought she powered-up a lot in recent years and that it was a perfect opportunity for her.
Yoneyama had fun designing the characters; she worked with Miwa Shirow’s originals and had suggestions from the director and Shigeto Koyama.
Sushio is helping Yoneyama with Kiznaiver’s production; he is working as general animation supervisor and doing key animation. “I’m overseeing the characters’ movements in order to correct and improve them and keep up the general quality of the show.“
Sushio’s involvement in Kiznaiver came from Yoneyama’s direct request. She went straight to him and asked for his help; Sushio says he couldn’t refuse because he found Yoneyama a great help through Kill la Kill as she was basically in charge of Satsuki. Sushio also found the project interesting and really liked the characters so he is having a lot of fun.
As for which characters from Kiznaiver they enjoy drawing; Yoneyama says that the most expressive characters like Tenga, Chidori and Nico are very fun to draw and that they’re the most popular among the animators but that she herself really likes characters that require more a nuanced and delicate touch such as Noriko and Katsuhira; she compares them to Satsuki in KLK. Sushio says that Tenga is a lot of fun, but he says he enjoys drawing them all and that his main objective is to be able to keep keep the art consistent while also making it lively and preventing it from looking too stiff. Yoneyama says that Sushio is complimenting her job and that they’re trying to make the characters on-model without being too restrictive on the animators.
NewType also has some crossover KLK/Kiznaiver drawings from Sushio and Yoneyama Mai, but there aren’t scans for them yet.
It's based on Urobuchi's tendency to only follow studios he works for on twitter.
I wouldn't really pay it any mind. It's only a short anyways, but it they could really be planning something special since it's their anniversary project.
Reminder that Okada's favorite is this guy. She also said he tries to be cool but comes off as a loser.
Sushio's Hajime looks like Kamina with glasses.
>implying anyone can even touch Okada and her career
If anything she's the one who chooses whether to save or destroy Trigger.
The Kizna system and the fact that it takes place in the future in a somewhat abandoned futuristic city. There are also more details about the setting that they haven't revealed yet.
>where they spread the weaker stuff and shit shows
There's also the occasion where production committee takes opportunity of the lack of competition to release a big hitter. Madoka was in winter after all.
Google just redirected me to this, when I searched that.
Is it wrong as a man to bear romantic feelings for this christmas cake?
>tfw I'm so morally destroyed Okada will never put that amount of degeneracy in anime than certain hentai manga
You joke? Okada needs no saving, she singlehandedly controls whole anime industry.
Sales prediction? Okada's writing is unappealing on its own, but I trust Trigger to compensate for that. Anything lower than 7k would be embarrassing.
>Trigger's track record so far
(2013) 11,563 KlK
(2014) **,996 Inou battle
(2016) *1,424 Ninja Slayer
(201*) --,--- Kiznaiver
>literally an anime about people sharing pain through cuts in their wrist
Craawliing in myy skiiin
theese wounds theyy will not heeaaaal
Do you mean Sushio Action AD ? Cause YoneMai is the Chief AD / character designer (she's adapting original design from Miwa).
If Sushio with Kiznaiver, then who's with Imaishi on that USAT show ? Yoshinari - Amemiya ?
That's actually a good idea.
My classmates were all extremely different and while most of them assholes they would make for entertaining characters personality-wise.
I would do OCs from my classmates desu.
I'm still hoping Trigger doesn't go full fujo on this anime. The character designs have me a bit concerned but being that it's Trigger I'll hang on to hope. Doubt this will be as good as Kill la Kill.
The red-haired girl is MC's childhood friend and has "complicated feelings" for him. MC will obviously fall for the main heroine blue-haired girl. Maybe the guy that's Kamina with glasses will like the red-haired girl since they seem to get paired in promo art and they have the typical opposite personalities since he is a delinquent and she is the "class rep" responsible type.
So this is M3 but without mecha elements involved?
>like Gainax, they are more sucessful with originals than adaptations, tha's not surprise
I want to see Trigger adapt a shoujo manga so we can have this generations Kare Kano with an actual ending
MC: air-head, slow, really doesn't care about himself or anyone else, his body has a dulled sense of pain
Main girl: mysterious, has a calm and emotionless face but she is very talkative and is a troublemaker that enjoys teasing people
Red-hair girl: childhood friend of MC, sporty, very responsible and like an older sister; she has a strong sense of justice but is very caring and tries to help everyone but she is also officious and self-righteous.
Glasses Kamina: the kind of guy that thinks before he acts; he is energetic, wild, very temperamental and gets in trouble easily. However, they say he is the most honest and straightforward character of the cast and that he is an honorable man who never goes back on his word.
Twin-tails: a chuuni who takes her character very seriously and says that she is able to talk to fairies; she acts as if her head was in the clouds and both her fashion sense and way of speaking are fitting for a weirdo.
Guy with the fox face: he is the top of the class student who is very popular with girls due to his grades and gentlemanly behavior but he is actually rather selfish and dishonest and everything he does is for her own benefit; he is smart and cunning and tries to manipulate people so things go his way, but he only acts this way with girls and actually acts rather cold to other guys.
Glasses girl: the most "adult" character, she is a loner girl who reads a lot of books and has a superiority complex; she is mean and will verbally abuse anyone that messes with her.
Guy with the piercings: mysterious guy with a beautiful face and a weird sense of morality.
>his own benefit*
>Glasses girl: the most "adult" character, she is a loner girl who reads a lot of books and has a superiority complex; she is mean and will verbally abuse anyone that messes with her.
Hello Okada. I'm glad to see you again. It's funny to think this is the favorite character from most of the production team.
Oh, man. I feel the drama that's going to radiate from these characters. The only way way it could get more dramatic is if Urobuchi was on script and wasn't allowed to have rape and the story.
The director said it's a sci-fi thriller and that it has action scenes but they're more about the survival and the struggle rather than about being cool. He said he likes sending the characters to the borders of death and making them really desperate. As expected from the guy that directed KLK episodes 5 and 18.

Refresh my memories if i'm wrong were those he episodes where Ryuuko fought Tengumaru and nearly lost Sengetsu and the episode where Nui bodied her and cut Sengetsu into pieces ?
Damn, somebody is gonna get their ass kicked in this show then, my guess is it'l be chunni mako thinking her dellusions give her super powers or some shit. I mean Mohawk pistol whipped the crap out of Ryuuko and Ragyo beat the ever loving shit out of Satsuki after taking her junketsu.
