So what shows from this season are worth watching? Literally only liked this so far and apparently it goes to shit later in the manga.
It just generally gets so shitty later on (especially for the protagonist) that spamming NTR is the only way to get across how undeservedly and objectively bad the author made the heroes life even after saving people.
Pretty much. Even if you don't self insert, it's not the conclusions you're hoping or rooting for, based on just general storytelling trends
>shitty life >go back in time, save girl, become her best friend >be happy with girl
is basically the formula for these types of stories and then you get the rug pulled out from under you.
Something about Dimension W just put me off, I guess it was all the exposition and the general tone just did nothing for me. Similarly I just instantly knew Active Raid wasn't for me based on the first 5 minutes.
Kamiyadori was really the only work I liked that they did.
Fulfilled my need for brown mentally retarded exhibitionist loli daughteru x cool sexually active scraggy adult male
Seriously fucking grow up. There's already been retarded autists spamming this shit in the Grimgar threads. Life is shit and you don't always get a happy ending. So stop trying to self inserting yourself into a fictional character.
Well that escalated quickly.
I wasn't mad because of the baby. I mean look at MC's face he was fucking happy. But I felt like the characters felt a lot less real as the manga went on. I mean who really pays that much attention to a 11 years old? Most people would've thought he was making up shit and that's it. It felt too convenient.
Also 15 fucking years and they still haven't catch the
teacherand the MC memory is fucked, that's bullshit.
>he never catches the murder
>15 years of his life is wasted
>all that shit he went through to save someone hasn't done a thing to improve his shitty stagnant life
>he actually comes out of it worse off
>while everyone else is happy
>represented by his best friends when he was 11 going off and becoming happy by themselves
>girl from the beginning never met MC in this timeline
It's honestly just the story of the most pathetic masochist there is to be honest.
Break the rules of the universe to save a girl and now she has a baby with your best friend and 15 yrs of you entire life is gone.
>Boku Dake ga Inai Machi
man that looks like edgy shit
If I wanted something unpleasant I'd just watch game of thrones.
There are plenty of good shows if you stop being an edgelord. Rakugo is good, but there are actually quite a few others. It's a relatively strong season, if you don't have shit taste.
>man that looks like edgy shit
I wouldn't say so. I mean, it's not Shouwa Rakugo but it's not Divine Gate, either.
>not being a momma's boy
I would go to hell and back to save my mum.
Also he looked fucking happy. I felt good for him.
I marathoned the manga of Boku Dake last night and man did it make me feel depressed. Time traveling stories always give me a feeling of hopelessness and I can't really imagine this story having a good ending.
no, I also like ecchi garbage, otome garbage, and random garbage that strikes my fancy
you'll notice I said this was a relatively strong season even though there aren't any GCDCT shows airing
that's reasonable but not necessarily true in practice
People who think the manga goes to shit are C-level readers who think that every manga has to end in a feel-good manner or something. Especially when they don't realize how happy he is.
The guy went from being a 28-year-old failed mangaka with no friends and a dead mom to being a 28-year-old guy with friends who are loyal enough to remember him after 15 years and a not-dead mom who took care of him for 15 years.
His power's never been about helping himself. It's been about helping others. He's solely responsible for the fact that his new friends and mother are even alive. And, frankly, the coma was good for him - being 28 in a kid's body and growing up would not have been mentally healthy.
And he can still presumably go back in fucking time to change shit, though likely he won't.
God, I don't even remember when I stopped reading this manga, I only remember that there was this little kid (like the leader of his friends or something) who knew that the MC had some powers or was not himself and there was some sort of birthday party.
>The guy went from being a 28-year-old failed mangaka with no friends and a dead mom to being a 28-year-old guy with friends who are loyal enough to remember him after 15 years and a not-dead mom who took care of him for 15 years.
Not really a good thing. You wrote this so biased
He went from
>28 yr old failed mangaka with a job and highschool girl kouhai who's in love with him
>his mom gets murdered and he time jumps before even knowing if he would be falsely charged or not
Now he is
>28 yrs old
>atrophied and decrepit body
>has been a financial and mental burden on his mom for 15 years
>his friends from grade school pop in to say "hi" but that's about it, because they actually have good lives
>no work history
>no highschool diploma
>no middleschool diploma
>no employment training
>only acquainted with 3 people
>no girls like him
>stacks of hospital related debts and expenses
>still didn't catch the murderer.
>the author made the heroes life even after saving people.
Why don't you stick to your SAO or Bakeshit?
It's even worse, people seriusly called
Kayoa slut and trash for not waiting 15 years for a dude she meet in 15 grade.
Shipperfags are fucking cancer, they ruin every series they latch into. See also SnK.
>comparing Bake and SAO even though they have nothing in common
The popular kids musta beat your ass good in highschool right?
Enjoy your masochistic loser story porn because you're obviously only into stuff that makes you "suffer" and think that "suffering = art"
years of his life is wasted
You moron, he was already 28.
Also he didn't save Kayo so he could fuck her, he did it because it was the right thing to do. Not to mention he also saved Yuuki and his own mother.
He's an hero, his life is more worth now that is pathetic self in the old timeline.
She's a slut for not raping her comacuck osananajimi by pumping ED meds and amphetamines into his IV so he could impregnate her.
Nigga saved your life, it's your job to carry his lineage.
Anime of the season coming through.
>Especially when they don't realize how happy he is.
Look how often he smiled at the beginning. I'm pretty sure it was exactly once, and Airi pointed it out and he pouted it away.
Dude it's still wasting his life. Do you think he sat in a ditch for those 15 years in the original timeline?
He was forming an identity. As he is now he's like an illegal immigrant with the amount he can actually accomplish in that world.
Big whoop he's a hero. So he gets patted on the back by some guy's wife and maybe guilts them into letting him freeload... There's not much else you can do with that "hero" status
His life is objectively worth far less. Just because you had a birds eye view on his actions and base his worth on your own morals doesn't mean it has any clout in the world he lives.
Some guys are happy having their penis crushed with rocks
that doesn't mean I have to like it when the main character of a series I'm reading gets his penis crushed and becomes happy.
I think you guys are self-inserting a little much if you're saying "you should be happy because he is"
There is beauty in tragic stories, jesus it's like you guys never read or watched any tragedy/hero story.
Beside, manga isn't even over yet.
Ah, shiet, I just finished watching it, it was damn good! It was hard to care for the mum, since she was just introduced, but, fuck, everything was great! I'm not digging the shota setting, but it's not enough to kill the hype. Also, dat fucking ending/opening was just god tier, the icing on the cake.
Shame this is not exactly the place to discuss a series with its source material ongoing, and all.
>There is beauty in tragic stories, jesus it's like you guys never read or watched any tragedy/hero story.
If the author done it right that being said this one is not even tragic, it's actually lean toward feel good with a good message but the author fuck with it up with the presentation and the build up.
So, no wonder people mad with it. Anyways, the manga is still on going so everything is possible.
I found this to be the most impressive first episode among those I've seen so far.
It's the communication problem between the author and the reader, the author just make some supposed irrelevant point of the story(in this case, it's puppy love between MC and Kayo) eclipse the main message that he want the reader to understand.
It's not news and not only /a/ that butthurt about it.
>People who think the manga goes to shit are C-level readers who think that every manga has to end in a feel-good manner or something.
The conclusion between MC and Kayo was supposed to make the reader feels good though, the fact that it's not means...he botch it. It's still a good effort from the author nontheless, at least I kinda get his message.
