The first three episodes alone makes the anime worth watching. I had no idea what Gakkou Gurashi was about when I first watched it.

I think the anime did a very good job contrasting the happy go lucky, and the dark depressing parts VERY well without being edgy bullshit and wrapping it all up in a single season 13 episode package.

Manga was better, but the anime wasn't bad and I liked how it was an anime origional and did change shit compared to the Manga.

the anime took the plotline, chewed it up and took a big steaming dog shaped dump on whatever made the concept good.

The anime fucks up the order of things and made things happened that never did.

I did enjoy how the anime did spread out the days they had fun since the manga rushes over that and they barely did anything fun in the manga.

But lots of the other shit in the anime pisses me off since it didn't happen like it did in the manga. Like there was no dog at all in the mall. The dog only had like a quarter of a chapter in the manga and that's it.

Anyway... just read the manga.

From animeonly fags view, the anime is good enough actually, but if you actually read the manga first, you'll shit it as much as you can, since the good thing in manga didn't show up in anime (i'm still pissed off they didn't show kurumi house, heli guy and after shit, rii-san snapped out)

I don't see how though, even if you ignore all the manga stuff there are inconsistencies and plot holes everywhere. And it's not even one of those anime where you have to turn your brain off to enjoy it so I don't see how people don't notice them.
