Tri is the truest sequel to Adventure since the world that Demiurg created by accident was the timeline of 02, and based Alphamon retconned most of 02 (including the new cast) to the point that 02 of this timeline was actually superior, didn't end with everyone getting a Digimon and had no epilogue episode.

Also the writing probably had waaay more sense in this timeline.

Does anyone here own a Pendulum Cycle?
I'm wondering whether I should try and buy one. I've been wanting a proper Japanese Pendulum for a while, but they're impossible to find below € 100 (incl. shipping), while Pendulum Cycles sell for much less.

I know that they're quite different from the other v-pets due to the Digimon devolving at the end of each day, but are they enjoyable as a cheap, first v-pet?

As I recall, They got mostly an entirely new team of animators for tamers on request of Konaka who wanted the characters to look different from the first two seasons since it was set in a different universe. I know a couple stuck around early on(Yajima did ep14, and I think 15), but I don't think they stayed.

Pretty sure they brought most of the Adventures animators back for Frontier though.

Episode 21 of adventure had Mamoru Hosoda as superviser, the same one that supervised the adventure digimon movies.

I'm simuwatching Savers with friends, we're up in the forties now.
Though it has a few high points and the plot isn't bad, overall Savers's writing and voice acting are, frankly, pretty bad. It's still fun to watch though, if just because of Masaru; and it's best enjoyed with a friend or two so you can banter during the episodes.
