New chapter is up.
>So the little sister is actually S-Class tier?
At the very least she and Metal Bat are from a family of enhanced humans. Makes sense as the bat is a family heirloom and thus the family has a warrior past.
>Garou confirmed for best boy
What a chapter. So are we getting a transition to the tournament next?
>>ugly ass little sister
She is a kid. There is every chance she will grow up to be a hottie. She isn't a moe loli but that's because she isn't the moe type of child. There is nothing wrong with her face, and once puberty hits we would see her true potential.
>Why did Garou stop because his sister told him to?
IMO Garou probably realised that she is no ordinary kid. But in this chapter it seems he realised they were being watched, and was trying to ambush the slime monster.
They accentuate her soon-to-be delinquent forehead
There's a better version of this, so get it instead of that shit.
it's uncensored too
>Why did Garou stop because his sister told him to?
Because she's a little girl, Jesus. She knocked a wobbling MB out in typical comic relief fashion, it's not like she mind controlled Garou or anything.
He wants to redefine the term monster in OPM's universe anon. Killing people and especially kids is too edgy.
I want Zenko to have a tea party with Fubuki and Bang while they gossip about their older siblings
That's exactly what he thought a monster should be but MA got all rustled.
Nah. His Fighting Spirit was clearly what was keeping him up. You can't say he was "on the last batch of energy" since, as long as Garou didn't take him out in that instant, his anger would just keep rising and making him stronger. He epitomizes that shounen trope of characters to keep on fighting while being supported by their feelings.
Uh, Phoenix Man was pretty much just a phoenix with a man's face on it. Murata just prettied up the "phoenix" part of the character and allowed his human parts to pop out of the fluff on its chest.
>If you can read it, can you mind telling us what the rhino monster is telling Mohican and Pineapple at the end?
Diffeent guy here. The Rhino is talking about how the two of them are too weak, and then proceed to grade the special moves they used on him one by one, out of 100. And he basically told them they suck and could never hurt him.
Yeah. The point here is that it's just a costume that the guy could pop out of. He definitely won't look all that different once his face pops out (he'll just look cooler) and the 'reveal' for manga only readers will be all the more shocking for how much of a disconnect there is between its initial ominous appearance in this arc and how awkward his origins really are.
Well MB is in a bad shape and he did get knocked out here despite wanting to fight, so fighting spirit is clearly not the only thing he needs to stay up. The guy is pretty careless and can't fast heal for shit so fighting anything remotely strong in this condition wouldn't have ended well for him.
>get knocked out here
Here as in right in this chapter?
I'd say that, while Metal bat still wanted to fight, his Fighting Spirit (ie; his anger) had gone way down because of Zenko. So to put it in gaming terms, the "buffs" he received had clearly gone down, especially after Garou left. You can see it from how shaky his movements are here.
To use gaming terms, Metal Bat is a high risk, high reward character. The more damaged he is, the stronger the buffs he receives, but he must constantly be in combat or else they'll start wearing off. So Metal Bat's Fighting Spirit "buff" became too weak to keep him up anymore.
Otherwise, while his Fighting Spirit can't heal him, it tremendously raises his "damage protection" such that the same attack will inflict less and less damage to him until even chip damage becomes impossible, which synergizes with his Fighting Spirit ability by letting him to get hit more and even angrier, further raising his damage protection and strength, making it even harder to damage him unless you go beyond your previous limits to knock him out before his status buffs grow even further beyond your capability.
Putting it into gaming terms hopefully makes it easier to understand what I'm thinking.
>She isn't a moe loli but that's because she isn't the moe type of child
She isn't a cute loli but that's because she isn't the cute type of child
Fixed that for you, since you don't know what moe means.
A spirit is either there or it isn't. If you're pumped for a fight, you're pumped. He looks determined to fight, even dragging Zenko who is clutching his pants, but that didn't help and now he's planking. Zenko gently knocked him out because he's gushing blood out of his nose and enough is enough, really. There's only so much pain and damage he can withstand at this point because
>while his Fighting Spirit can't heal him, it tremendously raises his "damage protection"
this is just your assumption. Most likely he's highly durable and persistent by default, which allows him to get stronger and faster the more damage he tanks. But he's obviously not invulnerable.
>this is just your assumption
Not true. Garou was knocking him around, but as the fight progressed, he was able to tank Garou's hits without flinching (until Garou upped the ante).
>A spirit is either there or it isn't.
Um, Fighting Spirit is just anger in other words. That's what it is according to the data book.
Metal Bat may be determined to do his duty as a hero, but his anger had obviously gone down once Zenko had arrived on scene to make him stop fighting.
Just look at the difference between Metal Bat before Garou left and after he did. While Garou was there, Metal Bat was still wary of him because he was worried for Zenko's safety. After he left, he was relieved before he suddenly remembered Elder Centipede was still there.
He made a vow not to be violent in front of Zenko. So he's obviously going to prioritize her over his own feelings of anger towards his opponent.
>A spirit is either there or it isn't. If you're pumped for a fight, you're pumped.
Metal Bat obviously wasn't pumped anymore. The entire time he was fighting Garou, he still had on his mind to take on Elder Centipede afterward. Because of Zenko, Elder just became an afterthought.
His strength is related to his anger. Zenko was like a splash of cold water. It cooled him down too much.
>wasn't pumped anymore
Uh huh, alright.
>he was able to tank Garou's hits without flinching (until Garou upped the ante)
That's not what happened. After getting beat up he was able to push back stronger himself. Once Garou realized that this dude gets stronger and faster the more damage he takes he pulled out heavier artillery to finish the fight quicker, that's what happened.
He "flinched" many times throughout the entire fight, because, well, he was getting punched in the face, other times he was just surprised (like when Garou came at him from the side after throwing the sewer lid). It's literally never stated that his "armor" gets tougher, only that he hits harder and faster.
I'm not a lolifag, but this girl was definitely cuter.
I think the whole fighting spirit thing is just about him being able to ignore pain and keep it up regardless of the damage he took, a rage that pushes him beyond his limits (that are still there).
He would be like Tryndamere, maybe. But his ult last a lot longer.
I think you mean this is one anon, me posting a lot of fujo korean fanart.
Not really, Metal Bat is exhausted.
Plus his Fighting Spirit was the only thing keeping him going, now he's not in battle and severely wounded.
Straw that broke the camels back.
No has posted Puri Puri or Sonic yet though.
Most Zenko stuff with Garou is entirely sfw and cute. Zenko porn was created here by some faggot the day her face was revealed and another faggot found rare fanart with Garou on the deep fucking web. Truly disturbing.
Is the one posted in this thread the faggot art or deep web one?
There are a lot of pairing possibilities...
Best thing that came out of this was making me put my foot over the window with a sheet as my came while screaming WAAAANNNN PANNNN
It feel like the uttermost jizz of freedom and liberation i have ever felt
I came her expecting king to translate the fucking thing and all i see is degenerates. Fucking /a/.
>faggot found rare fanart with Garou on the deep fucking web
You do know the deep web is mostly normal stuff and all the shit you hear are urban legends and kids trying to be edgy, right?
So does Garou already have monster powers? Is he healing superhumanly fast? Or is he just an absolute badass and was fighting Metal Bat with all his previous injuries?
Also, how does he even become a monster? How does that make sense
Still, now that it's confirmed that was Phoenix Man, he really got one hell hell of a design upgrade, way to hype the MA before it has even begun.
>Is he healing superhumanly fast?
His healing factor gets better with each bloody mess he gets into. He evolved very quickly as a human, picking up techniques on the fly and pushing various limits.
Ah ok, so it's just speculation?
I mean yeah I wouldn't doubt that ONE basically asked Murata to make this the new Phoenix man, but I'd like to point out that this speculated Phoenix man is far different in terms of character (cool, collected) than the original (brash, loud and confident). If he is named then I'll yield but I still have my doubts.
Nah, you're just retarded. Go back to browsing the deep web, there's no need to be this triggered.
Again it's possible, hell it's even possible that he chose to change his character all together (I can see him facing Child Emperor like this and still being so overconfident that he gets rekt), but again I'm the type of person who has to have it 100% confirmed (i.e. by name) before I'm convinced.
He's got the exact same "circle feather tail" thing behind him, anon. And he has a human hand too. Did you have trouble in your literature classes? I'm not being mean, mind you. I'm honestly curious.
Preemptive response: the jellyfish monster obviously wasn't Evil Water. Evil Water created a body of water and did not talk at all. The Jellyfish monster had visible viscosity to its body and tentacles like a jellyfish.
>sperglord getting buttflustered because he didn't get an obvious joke, knee-jerked and was called a sperglord
Jellyfish and Water are way too different and got some clear difference: While Poenix Man and this monster, we barely saw him so the personality isn't a contradiction. Evil Water was straight presented as a thing that reacted to hostility. Let's add this new monster got its name said in the chapter.
Top-tier reaction face material. Thanks ONE.

I need it confirmed by name. I'm not diasgreeing with you in that so far the monster does indeed appear to be phoenix man, but I need a name (something which ONE has a history of clearing up) before I'm convinced. If this monster is never given a name, and Phoenix Man never appears, then I will agree that that monster was more than likely indeed Phoenix Man.
No. I got you.
I don't care that you're not disagreeing with me. I'm just concerned that you need a name to be "convinced". And I'm not trying to be insulting, but I'm honestly quite appalled by this.
>all this faggot fujoshit and lolicon spam
metal bat arc is a mistake
Why would you be appalled by this? It's called being convinced beyond reasonable doubt. Right now, the fact that the monster has not been named, is reasonable doubt. I'm just very much against assumptions, you might call it being naive but I call it being stubborn (which I am).
You're literally the only retard who knee-jerked. Order some quality buttpaste, on the deep web.
It's over now. Hopefully gooks stick to drawing cute Zenko stuff.
Who am I kidding? Garou vs Genos is coming.
I honestly do not mind older Zenko and Garou.
Zenko's alright, but goddammit if her sole purpose for existing wasn't just to impede MB
>Scolds big brother just as he was about to splatter Garou's skull
>Knocks him out so he can't kill the centipede
And the second one is awful, because every second a shitload of people could die because of that thing
