Anyone ever hear about "I'm scared of my JSDF veteran mom"
I think it's an original motion comic (motion manga?) since I can't find any info about it or the author
there's an english translation (probably spotty if the Murcielago translation is anything to go by)
(if you can't view it, I'll reupload it once I wake up)
Waiting for some based as fuck gook on futaba to post Miho and Maho scans but sometimes i miss a thread so i head to the archive and i'm greeted by this bullshit.
Also. the drawthread died before i could post this request.
I'm not even sure if someone will deliver. But if it happens i'll send a little "from /ak/ with love"
The resemblance is uncanny.
>tfw Saki's VA is /ak/
Noriko does strange things sometimes.
Everytime i see that picture i think "why is the stig on the wrong side?" Then i remember that brits are a bunch of contrarian fucks who are so butthurt about Napoleon that they use "stone" as a measurement of weight.
Kind of want a Kuromorimine kraftwerk spoof now.
They do wear red button-ups underneath their jackets.
which Witch Kraftwerks would you work? And why is it Tanpopo?
Is shooting a bullet mid-flight with another bullet a valid strategy in a quick-draw duel?
I'm going to marry a M26E1 and you bigots can't stop me!
Yeah, she was a bit overenthusiastic that day.
Not the inclusion of the word "also".
Being a Britbong, I know I drive on the left. Despite sometimes forgetting that fact whilst driving.
Alright, as I said earlier, here is Groundless Chapter 5!
Actual action for the first time since Chapter 1!
>this pairing will never be popular
It physically hurts me
GuP threads sure run fast those days. Not that i complain.
Well, it's basically the /ak/ thread too, so that can be seen as a reason...
Do you have a typesetter or something like that?
I could lend a hand, but not doing both cleaning and typesetting. I got my hands somewhat full with Groundless already.
Weird, captcha is being retarded and slow...
Well, we get more insights on all the factions in later volumes, namely 3 and beyond.
Well, I got about a week or so till my semester starts, so I can do a quick one or two chapters of whatever in that time. Even if it's a one-off, and we have to find someone else to readily put out chapters for it.
>Well, we get more insights on all the factions in later volumes, namely 3 and beyond.
One-eyed sniper is also practically absent in volume 3, think she only shoots one bottle and that's it.
Anon... I hate to break it to you...
Volume 2 is really the only volume where she isn't focused on.
Just a blank filler after this, so credits is last.
Hope you all liked it, it's version 1, so when ProofreaderAnon or someone fixes all the horrible copy-pastes from the script, then I'll upload it either tonight or tomorrow on Batoto and the wiki.
as usual, new series kinda work on a 'whoever does it first' basis for typesetting

A hit and run tactic!!
Just got done with vol1. I'm really liking it so far and i appreciate your work but the MEGA files are total clusterfucks of .zip files within .zip files.
Hit and run tactics
Swoop down violently from above onto enemy planes, let them eat a volley and then run as is. Seems easy, but I don't think that idiots or cowards can pull this off. I wonder what diving in like this in reality must feel like...
Pew pew pew
Make a run for it after passing trough
Trying to scramble for each others back (favourable shooting position) while letting out complex turns. There's supposedly many aviation fans going: If you talk about air battles its gotta be this!
(There are techniques and such to these turns, so try looking it up if it caught your interest from looking cool!)
To be frank, these movements are hard to understand for Takano. Pilots are amazing, right!
Dogfight (kanji says the same)
Spread out, coil about the Yashima
There is no need to go along with Nichiu's tactics
Let them know our advantage in numbers
Well then, how is it coming out, fine ladies and gentlemen of Nichiu
Shit, they're too close to the Yashima, get them off (no idea on the last word here)
Don't sweat it, it's just as expected. Take them in one on one!
All emplacements, keep shooting!! Sky's full of Ultians, fuuuck
Yeah, I know.
I really dump files there for backup, not for accessibility. I'll work on making it easier to access in this and future chapters. I'll go back later (like in a few months) and fix the older ones.
As always, kinda expect
but don't count onChapter 6 to come out by next Friday.
I'm also going to do a new thing by putting the volume extras in their own release, because now we get about 4-5 pages per volume instead of 2.
Get off/way from the Yashima
Filthy Ultian savages...
Your highness, please come down. It's dangerous over there
I'm sorry, I was observing... For something carrying the name of [empire] to carry out such battle with this outcome. I think I will burn this sky thoroughly into my memory
For example, in what kind of form will this end, or if something is to start from here on...
They're equipped with bombs!?
Don't tell me they want to drop these on the Yashima!? No way
Are you sure? Because given the huge frame and sluggish movements
The Yashima is just like a warship
Shiiit, I won't make it
Dive bombing target... Yashima
Dropping 50 kilo bomb...
Course for direct hit
see? They did hit some of the engines
I won't let you

Climbing to an altitude of 6000 meters, something no other plane world-wide manages. And so they headed for the final stage of [Operation N]-
live TL from here on again
how do the other planes return to the carrier if it climbs that high?
I'm getting the impression that they managed to wipe out the entire enemy armada without taking a single casualty even though they were completely outnumbered, then loaded the planes back onto the carrier.
What advantages does HVSS have compared to VVSS? It doesn't seem like it would make that much of a difference.
I didn‘t finish manga yet, but I bet this is just pure frustration.
>Battle experience showed a relatively short life of the original vertical volute spring suspension (VVSS) of the late models M3s due to the tank's increasing combat weight with larger guns and larger tracks. After mid-1944, M4A3 models of the Sherman adopted a newly developed Horizontal Volute Spring Suspension (HVSS).
>This type of suspension involved springing the pair of dual road wheels on each bogie against each other with a volute spring. When the horizontal volute springs were placed in compression by either the front or rear bogie wheel arm, the load was transmitted to the opposite arm. This kept tension on the track. Compared to the vertical volute spring suspension which it replaced on the US M4 Sherman, HVSS was heavier, stronger, allowed the changing of individual wheels, and increased wheel travel.
>When fitted with the HVSS suspension the M4A3 tanks were known as the M4A3E8 model - and soon gained the nickname 'Easy Eight' since they were more comfortable to travel in than models with the previous VVSS suspension, due to the extended track/wheel travel.
Copypasta'd from Wikipedia.
Don't forget to spoiler lewds anon.
The point of [Operation N] was for the remnants to obtain a 'sky only' for the Yashima-
Right on schedule. Congratulations

We'd end up looking like a man who's late for his date if the Yashima wasn't in the air by the promised time. Obviously can't let that happen
And the world is about to learn why
That because fuctionality supress style.

not gonna TL the final page for now as my OCr can't handle text on grey background.
Which means I'm done!
Why do I get the feeling that GuP Movie will be around for awhile now....800mil...1bil around the corner and they are increasing the theater count.
>text on grey background.

At least their artist hasn't snapped from the pressure of not being as successful and whoring out his creations.
>At least their artist hasn't snapped from the pressure of not being as successful and whoring out his creations.
Well, strong emotions inspire art. THAT doujin is actually pretty brilliant. It gets the viewer hard, it explores the characters on a new levels. He wouldn't have made it if he didn't know frustration of failing as a mangaka. So he was able to create art as a fruit of his hardship. In other words, it hasn't been in vain.
Europe isn't very safe, better to be Best Friends for Life in Japan then move there for a silly piece of paper. Besides you really think that's stopping Yukari and Miho from intense cuddle sessions?
Are Kuromine girls the cutest?
There are 2 more now.
Frankly, it's hard to take FNC getting upset over Sako kissing her because she was saving it until after she got registered to taking multiple fat old men dicks in one go and going home with it leaking out at the end.
I know it's par for the course for there to be porn from other artists, but even if he says it's not canon it really does make it hard to care about the manga's plot with that hanging over it.
>#5. skirmish battle at wuzma plateau
"skirmish battle" feels redundant. A "skirmish" is already just a more specific type of battle. Can it just be "skirmish at wuzma plateau"? Because as far as I can tell the meaning is exactly the same, "battle" just adds awkward redundancy.
Based on cursory googling, this is usually written as either "tally-ho" or "tallyho".
>While not as common in use today, it's shorten form, "tally", still used somewhat with civil and military aviation.
'While not as commonly used today, its shortened form, "tally", is still sometimes used in civil and military aviation.'
"Whoosh" seems more popular.
Again, seems like this is usually spelled as "whizzing"
>even your hick schools should have taught you it!
Kinda awkward. I'd recommend:
"even your hick schools should have taught you that!"
>know the situation.
I wanna say "read the situation."
>become a endurance battle
"become an endurance battle"
Again, "whizzing" seems more correct.
How funny, I just got off work.
I'm going to keep it as is, because 1) I don't want to redo the chapter list page from Ch. 4, and 2) while it does seem redundant, I felt that "Skirmish at Wuzma Plateau" felt kinda small for the chapter name. It also fits better with the added word in the box. Luckily it is only a small thing, not something major like a character name or something...
I'll be working on this, and get it uploaded tonight then.
Flugzug if my vocabulary is correct. Not sure if fighterjets and the like have an alternative word choice. Also funnily enough although the term for airplane it can be translated roughly as flying train if I recall.
Forgot my name again.
>we have no strength to care for any uncooperative prisoners.
>and where do we have the strength to live?
This is kind of a tough one. First because it's a question, and second because it's tied up with the word "strength." It seems apparent that Subahan is referring to manpower, while Black Hitler Cowboy is talking about a more general kind of power. The simplest solution would be:
"we don't have the power to care for any uncooperative prisoners."
"and we don't have the power to go on living!"
This is pretty clear while also keeping the interrogative:
"we don't have the power to care for any uncooperative prisoners."
"and where can we find the power to go on living?" or shorter:
"and where can we find the power to survive?"
This one is as close as possible to the original while making more sense:
"we don't have the strength to care for any uncooperative prisoners."
"and where can we find the strength to live?"
Jeez, somebody shoot this guy. He doesn't seem worth keeping around.
Cool, thanks again Lardagus.
There's certainly room for debate around the issue, but the correct thing for me as a proofreader / an editor to do is always to suggest "all right" over "alright."
>implying negative things about pekoe
Typhoon is such a shit name, why couldn't they agree on something better.
~25% complete. ~45% cropped and cleaned, to be continued next week.
I'll use the one that is closest to the original.
>Black Hitler Cowboy
Ha, if I though of that before making the credits page, I would have done something with it...
Thank you again!
>Shoot that guy
Don't worry, he gets his chance at redemption in the next volume...
vol 6 of Schäferhund got uploaded
in this volume they focus on planes and there's a Tuskegee Airwomen (actually there's just one)
Is this a Red Tails joke in the filename
I can't remember if I've gone over this already or not.
Is that a hyphen? I'm not really sure what the purpose of it would be. If there's supposed to be a pause in her speaking here then the correct way to indicate that would be an ellipsis. At the very least it should an em dash (—), though that's not really correct either. And either way, it shouldn't be on its own line, it should be at the end of "as."
But a pause here is kinda weird anyway.
>they're even coming here!
I definitely remember going over this before. This should probably be "they're coming this way!" or something.
Again, I assume there's supposed to be a pause in her speech here. The way this currently written it looks hyphenated. This actually combines the two words, if anything actually reducing the break between them. I'm pretty sure you want an em dash (—). It's also possible to use an en dash (–) with spaces around it, but that's just gonna be confusing.
Again, this should be an em dash (—), and it should be on the same line with no space:
>3 2 1
The font on these numerals is really different, hah.
Is this just some ejaculatory noise she's making? It's not supposed to have any meaning, I presume?
>will things end up like this-
Again, em dash: "like this—"
Thanks for the hard work, friend.
Yeah, it's gotta be. It's definitely a different-looking Pekoe.
I remember looking over this stuff before, but it's definitely been a really long time. It was probably when the TLs were first posted. My notes may or may not already be incorporated into this. Anyway, don't worry about it.
Maybe someone even knows what tank is this one?
Thanks for the update. I have not used my German in a while. Also go figure my German teach was bad, she said Zug was train hence my reference to it. I knew her being a half Spanish half German teacher was bad news. No wonder University level classes made more sense then hers.
hmm then she just screwed up giving us that trivia. Cause that's where I got the flying train idea was from remembering her example in class when teaching us that word. Oh well, thanks again.
Gentlemen! Gentlemen! Give it up, for R-Rose Hiiiip!
After some digging I found there was a paper plan to update Type 74s to 90s standard to operate alongside Type 90s. This could just be that idea. It would have had a different turret design than a normal type 74.
The bottom pic are challys though
here is the rebuild version
I doubt it's not real, since Gainax were fucking nerds all "futuristic" guns are based on some prototypes, they also drawn type 74 pretty realistically. It can be some 90s project that never went into production. Or maybe it's really made up.
That sounds reasonable. And in that Rebuild scene, if it's from the beginning, they just replaced type 74 to make it more modern.
I want to sample these russian wannabes
Okay, I went through Japanese resources. It's indeed semi-made up. It's futuristic Leopard and it's how Gainax imagined something like Leopard 2A7 or A10 looking. Of course, it's different from real life tank.
It is reasonably popular if it produces fanart.
Meant for >>135804129
Also help me out, is she putting her panties on or taking them off?
Just came in to tell you fagbois to post more Kay and Karina along with T29-chan
>using the inferior Trans Europe Express cover
Garupans in various states of undress and undergarments for a span of 24 minutes every week
How big would the resulting online shitstorm be if they actual showed the theorized "Pugachev's Cobra to get behind them and then blast them in the ass"?
I'm imagining "katana cutting through broadsword" levels.
If I was not mistaken the Germans already started looking into what became the Leopard 2A5 around 1991 (in a program called the KWS II), so they're actually not that far off.
Now we're already into the actual Leopard 2A7, that really took time.
Are you saying Yuzu's yuzus aren't real? That's not a very nice thing to say to a girl.
Leitkreuz, basically a convoy marker for driving in the night.
>Are you saying Yuzu's yuzus aren't real?
Oh yes they're real.
>Yuzu in off-shoulder dress.
Also fuck the Germans for not making crane-mounted ATGMs a thing.
Germans, no surprises. They also have this.
It's actually not a catapult. Something about testing the conditions of the fluids in the tanks at various degrees.
Also needs webm of a Leopard 2A4 having beer at the end of the barrel.
Would you talk shit about the M1 Abrams in front of Alisa?

What's she gonna do, load up something in my butt
You're talking shit about her favourite tank.
What's she going to do to me? Cry about Takashi?
Okay, I realize this makes me a pleb, but there's not anything more to this joke than just being a wacky cliche thing for her to say, right? It was one of those things I was only like ninety percent sure I actually got.
