Aizen is the only reason i still read this shit.

The stuff about the Soul King, the history of Soul Society and how the world and races were created is quite interesting. Kubo does answer many questions, albeit very slowly. The characters are still good. Some of the new villains are lacking, but on the other hand, we got some really good ones like Giselle, Askin, Haschwalth, Bazz-B or As Nodt. The Shinigami are more grey and may become the enemy, the fight scenes and are is still good. And some reveals were good. Only problem is the pacing and Kubo needs to excecute his reveals and fight ends better. And more backstory, especially for the Quincy.

Bleach has been on my backlog for a while, so I spent the last three days marathoning all those chapters.

I always heard Bleach stopped being good after the Soul Society Arc, but I feel it already devolved into boring repetitious fighting during that arc itself. The main difference was that back then fights took 1-2 chapters. Now there's fodder like Gremmy taking entire volumes to die.

Kubo is just making this up on the fly anyway. On an unrelated note, does somebody have the illustration explaining Ichigo's powers?

I'm not sure if marathoning Bleach is such a good idea. On the one hand, the pacing is much better, on the other hand, you're going to miss out all the important details, like Giselle fighting Rukia, Giselle' shadow looming over Hitsugaya, the second Arrancar (who was someone Orihime didn't meet during the fight with Quilge) that was in the ruins with Grimmjow and Chad, all the lies Soul Society told about the Soul King, Mayuri working on zombies, where Ukitake was, Isshin thinking, giving Ichigo his Shinigami powers back is like robbing him of his future, etc.

I actually could see half of the Sternritter surviving the second day. Lille, Haschwalth, Askin, Gerard and Uryuu are definitely still alive. Pernida can regenerate and with the recent focus on the limbs will probably be still relevant. Bazz-B, Giselle and Liltotto will probably be healed by Orihime in time. Bazz-B's and Liltotto's wounds didn't look that severe and Giselle is a zombie. If Giselle is alive, she can kill and revive Bambietta as many times she wants. No way, she's going to loose her favorite zombie. The brain of Gremmy is still intact. at least I can't remember Kenpachi smashing it. Mayuri could probably find a way to make it working together with Nemu, especially if Gremmy is the brain of the Soul King. I don't really like the theory, but it's possible. We've never seen what happened after Cang Du's arm got slashed. He could have survived that and not further be punsihed, because Haschwalth thought the scales were balanced or something like that or maybe BG9's Schrift could make him survive, so he and BG may be also alive. That's 13 Sternritter, which really is half of them. They have at least the possibility to survive. Everyone else is dead.

It honestly could have been. Back when Kubo foreshadowed Ichigo's growing dark side, it was a sign he was trying to improve on what YYH did.

But because he has no idea what he's doing, he introduced a mess of characters who don't add anything and somehow pulled even more inconsistent bullshit out of his ass.

Bleach was almost sort of kind of better than mistakes of the '90s. Now its greatest legacy is being mocked by other series like One Punch Man and Steins;Gate in gags that don't make it across the language barrier.

Remember that time 3 assholes with weird powers showed up and kidnapped one of the good guys, so the remaining friends had to go rescue them in a house full of twisted space? And before it turned into a fight, their mentor stepped out and said they were behind it to teach a lesson, and now the trio of assholes are going to help them fight the real villain, only to be mostly useless and fade into the background?

Even the fillers knew it was a bad imitation and just kind of rolled with it.

Like the Shiba clan falling 20 years ago or Soken dying before the Auswahlen. Giselle's sex is still not confirmed. That's because of the art (re: dem hips) and constantly screams about Nakama-ism. It has no other redeeming factors.

This is literally the biggest reason why this manga is a huge steaming pile of excrements because unlike the other series it goes totaly bonkers with all of its nakama powerups and speeches. Yeah no that might be only because we currently have a deadly combination of new years break and beginning/building up of an arc, both alone are reasons the activity in the threads drastically decreases but together they almost make the general vanish completely for like two or more weeks.
