Why are there so few characters in anime with Autism? And I don't mean chuuni-style autism, but "Can barely speak up in public" autism.

There is Kageyama and that guy with the piss yellow hair from Haikyuu. They seem pretty autistic.

Kageyama totally is. I don't know which blonde guy you're talking about though

There's specialists for autism. However whether you try them is up to you. There's a bias of specialists to give positive diagnoses for what they specialize in - in patients that non-specialized doctors would see not sufficient evidence for that diagnosis.
>>
>>135796217
Unless you plan on going on meds it's a really moot question.

I got diagnosed with ass burgers and it's literally just a check mark on some old grade school files.

Why would you trust an article like that?
>>
>>135791696

>>
>>135796440
Because it's on wikipedia, of course.
>>

>isn't wikipedia funded
>>
>>135796807
Do you have any proof that those articles weren't funded by wikipedia?
>>
>>135796721
Why would I trust that article?
Because it's mostly written by random guys, who I figure delight in being able to report bad stuff. That's why the article isn't all-positive.

But it roughly reflects my own experience. Wikipedia is trustworthy. Half of all alternative sites that you'd come up with have wikipedia among their sources.
>>
An autism thread filled with autism? What an unexpected turn of events.
>>
>>135796954
>trusting sites that have wikipedia as a source

kids this days man.
>>
>>135796910
Now you're rejecting the articles based on the possibility that they might have been funded by wikipedia?
>>
>>135797004
>>trusting sites that have wikipedia as a source
How would you know? Linking your sources is not common practice outside wikipedia.
>>
>>135797011
Do you have any proof or you don't?
>>
>>135797011
So you don't have proof?
>>
>>135797079
>>135797096
You win. Information loses.
>>
>>135797043
Why would you trust an article that doesn't have a source and doesn't explain where did the information they're giving you came from?
>>
>>135797131
How often do you actually look up the sources?
>>
>>135797181
How often do you? Let me answer for you, never.
>>
>>135797121
If you are still going to be a gullible retard, then nobody wins.
>>
>>135797241
So what is the problem?
>>
>>135797181
Are you telling me you just see that there's a source's name and belive it?
>>
>>135797302
What if that source cites wikipedia?
>>
>>135797263
Oh, you win the argument. You just lose the battle for information.
>>
>>135797336
Why would wikiopedia cite itself as a source?
>>
>>135797377
>thinking he's getting the right information
>>
>>135797380
No, I'm talking about a non-wikipedia article citing wikipedia.
The article in >>135796699 has a segment on that about the problem with citing other sites.
What goes around, comes around.
>>
>>135797377
>battle of information
There's no such a thing as information when you never check you sources anon.
>>
>>135797460
>when you never check you sources anon.
>not reading the article
>counts as checking the sources
>>
>>135797377
Again, if you're gonna keep being a gullible person that belives anything some site says, nobody wins.
>>
>>135797527
Well, so long as you have no alternative at all, I have some information (with what you consider questionable reliability) and you have no information at all.
>>
>>135797496
What you say doesnt ake any sense.
>>
>>135797496
what are you talking about?
>>
>>135797574

>>
>>135797582
>>135797596
Rejecting the articles based on the fact that they might be biased.
>>
>>135797496

>>

>>
>>135797637

>>

>>
>>135797716

>>
>>135797716
Why would you trust an article from wikipedia?
>>
>>135797716
I seriously hope you're not this gullible offline kid. I can see you being an easy scam target.
>>
>>135797756
>So you're saying it's better to spread misinformation?
No, I am saying you rejected the sources of the article on wikipedia's reliability without reading them and then decided that the article was misinformation.
>>
>>135791696
I think anime is full of autists. Wejust can't tell because we're also autistic.
>>
>>135797766
>no trustable sources
What made them untrustable?
The fact that they were linked to on wikipedia?
>>
Autism levels skyrocketing
>>
>>135797869
Kid, seriously, grow up, read the article and the sources and try to realize why they're not trustworthy, it's no use that somebody give you the answer.
>>
>>135797959
You've got nothing better than that?
>>
>>135797996
I'm telling you what's better for you, if you want to be a gullible lazy asshole and not reading and trust something just because, be my guest, you're not gonna have a good life that way.
>>
>>135798089
>I'm telling you what's better for you,

Pretty sure autism is the opposite, bud.
Like someone walking around talking about train facts to people waiting for the transit and prattling on despite getting "the look" and other dismissive social cues from people who just want to go to work/school and haven't had their cuppa that morning.

True autism is the dumb genki characters.
