There would be clues & hints littered thoughout the story, but I do not see any. The biggest factor being that Chiyo & Kiyoshi's relationship hasn't developed or progressed, at all.

Even when she sewed the headbands she did nothing to make Kiyoshi's stick out from the rest. She didn't put up any resistance when Hana snatched that shit out of her hand. There's more evidence supporting Chiyo's lack of attraction than anything else.
