What is everyone's thoughts on the anime so far? Happy with Bones art/choice in voice actors?
Just realized Ironman won the Civil War in BnHA world.
>guys we have a team assignment coming up and need a team name
>remember bloodhound gang?
This series just screams infinite filler potential
>huge open world, can go whenever they want in Japan (and maybe even abroad)
>a lot of goofy side characters which are absolutely unexplored
>easy as fuck to design original characters/villains of the day since style is simple and cartoony
the manga is forced.
expect a more forced anime.
BnHA threads are filled with OPMfags, sinilar to OPM threads filled with BnHAfags. So the hate is alive and active, in that regard.
Hate? That depend if BnHA BTFO OPM, then the natural reaction is to hate the anime that dethroned a popular anime. And the hate will increase if BnHA come in cours and seasons too. Because you'll have those complain that it's not fair one got 30+ episodes and the other only 12 episodes.
I think BnHAfags are more tolerable then OPMfags, so I expect to see falseflaggers, trolls, baiters, and all to make it seem like it is hated.
Bumping with best girl
Also best tongue
For some reason I really like how Horikoshi draws the gloves of the hero costumes to actually seem like gloves, with whatever you call those lines in the sides and between the fingers
Sorry for the autism
Nah, I like it too, makes the girls look cute
No idea, they just are
Best I got is a costume swap
How can the fact that one of my favourite manga will be used as a cashcow and the threads will be even more cancerous than ever before make me happy?
Look at all these frogposters and shipperfaggots infesting the thread, and it's going to be even worse from here on.
>This manga is without a doubt my favorite manga currently
So you have been reading 3 manga in total?
>It fills me with that nostalgic childish glee of old manga.
It's the epitome of shonen, but with capeshit instead of ninjas/pirates/etc.
I'm withholding all judgement until we get a proper PV with animation. I need to see and hear how the voices look in motion. So far, I'm optimistic!
BnHA SMASH No. 10 raws.
Viz anon where art thou?
People already hate it- it's basically the #1 property in Jump that isn't ending in the next few months.
Also since it has a big cast of likable characters and delicious girls it has an insanely high waifu-warrior/fujoshi quotient.
Yep. Sadly, most of it will be fujoshit.
Hoping to be wrong, tho.
The whole point of the manga is to be a meta-joke about the hyperseriousness of silver and golden age comics, as well as that of the manga industry.
>once the anime aires we are gonna be just as hated as OPM and Naruto
There is literally no stopping this, secondaries will pollute these threads and make like 5 other BNHA threads when there is already one up
On the plus side maybe we end up as the SnK threads.
Almost no one seems to hate those guys anymore, and they seem to have fun now so you can only hope.
No exceptions. If a fanbase appears to be ok, either 1. You are a part of said fanbase and in denial of your own shitiness. 2. You haven't encountered the shit in the fanbase (lucky you) 3. You haven't interacted as much with thr fanbase as you may have thought.
Its the fate of the popular and mainstream. But all fads die eventually and so will the MHA bandwagon/hate when it inevitably happens. It's best to just tought it out until then.
part of me kind of hopes the anime sucks to avoid all this desu
>On the plus side
There is nothing good about being cancer
SnK is still literally filled with tumblr this much for like what? 2 years already, it's beyond saving and would be best to just filter it.
>Almost no one seems to hate those guys anymore, and they seem to have fun
To be honest i think SnK got way to much hate
I was kinda enjoying then anime with all it's asspull-nes
But jesus chirst the fanbase
I remember one episode where some girl got stomped into a tree and there was 10 threads about a girl that was only in 1 episode with like 5 min of screen time
RIP PETRA in every thread for 5 day
It's that kind of people i hope we don't get
I'm worried about how quickly it will get through the material, but everything else looks fine so far so as long as they base the filler on best girl it is fine
Iron Man was right. Fuck but muh freedoms, super hero freaks cause as many problems as they solve and need to be regulated better
Man I love this series character design so much
I always sleep after one chapter of this shit manga. it's kinda good but I think i've outgrown shounen.
when did this shit get so popular on /a/ anyway? i remember one anon spamming threads about how good it is when it was new and it was regarded as naruto tier shitposting but now it's getting weekly threads for each chapter released
>extended tournament fights
>full versions of Momo vs Tokoyami and Mina vs Aoyama fights
he actually didnt do it when it was new. We didnt always get weekly threads but we have pretty frequent threads especially one. He was a falseflagger that would spam the same image over and over with things like 'MOST EPIC TEAM EVER IN MANGA' while it had the image of bakugou up from and the rest of the characters in a line. I dont have it currently.
Anxiety, angst, no confidence, doesn't believe in her own abilities. Hey it's as though there was a chapter explaining this.
You're right though. She jobbed hard. Her quirk is too strong without her personality defects.
So the point isn't waifufaggotry is unacceptable, it's merely that said waifu isn't your waifu and therefore, deems all others faggotry and autism? Of course.
That applies to everything on /a/
>That character is not my favorite character therefore said character is shit.
>That manga is not my favorite manga therefore that manga is shit
>That anime is not my favorite anime therefore that anime is shit
It's one of those quirks that seem a real waste for hero work. She could be churning out rare materials and complex machinery for the cost of a few cakes.
Unless her creations have a limited lifespan or disintegrate a certain distance from her? I don't know if it's been mentioned anywhere.
She had time to make a shield
Hey, I'm going to dump the latest chapter translated by Viz here.
Anyone have the full Japanese cover?
The only things we know about it is that it an't create living material and it uses stored fat to make up the atoms.
We don't know much about the quirks actually, not even the protagonist's. Hori seems like the kind of author to have planned those out and describe them so here's hoping he does just that in later chapters.
>How long until /a/ will hate it like OPM and "back to your /v/" thing?
Not even 20 chapters in and I could already tell this show is going to be ripped apart. Not only that but its being done by bones so its running on thin ice weather or not it'll be decent, has it been confirmed bones ending yet? If not I'm already calling it.
The pastebin you'll find by searching that has all the available viz releases. If any of the links are down, just inform me.
They're Wave #2 of jobbers to show student progression.
These guys might actually get names- in the previous attack they just came with a small army of minor criminals who the kids mopped the fuck up.
Well 闇 can mean darkness or night, and 狂宴 can mean a carnival, banquet, feast, or
this is the former black high-schooler in me here but man I'd have a hard time not telling Aizawa to stuff it up his ass.
bitch, I'm working hard. But this is a WEEK of physical training. Who the fuck makes major gains in a week?
It's My Hero Academia not My Gold's Gym Membership. The fuck did you do to train? Stare at the sun?
the fuck outta here
That's the whole point, anon. It's how superhero comics are supposed to be. Horikoshi just manages to pull it off in a really nuanced and interesting, though slightly awkward way.
He's a dude who had his power for a full 2-3 months before this instead of his whole life.
He took nearly a full year of training to get swole enough to barely use it. His whole quirk's point is having insane untapped power.
I don't think Kaminari's gonna make massive gains by hooking a car battery to his balls for a week. Tsuyu gonna do some fuckin jumping jacks? Play tug of war with her tongue?
Fuck I wish I got major gains from doubling up sets for a week. If they show some major gains then they should do this shit every week, because they'll be gods if it works that way.
Makes me wonder how lame-ass the powers of the current pro heroes were when they were students if the kids can approach them before this sort of training.
And obviously this is going to continue in their first year. The camp is to speed up the process because they have more free time. Even fights against teachers instead of robot shows that their training regimen is advanced.
Full Cowl did make him stronger, but no in the aspect of his body. He learned how to use his Quirk better.
The training they are doing right now is only meant to strengthen their Quirks and not learn completely new things about their Quirks, but who said they expect immediate results in 1 week? This is probably meant to show them how to train and give them a guidance, that if you don't train your Quirk all the time you are bound to fail.
Let's take Deku as an example: he never stops training. This makes his body stronger which also makes his Quirk stronger. He does that because he knows what a great burden is on his shoulders, the burden to not disappoint All Might, to defeat AFO and become the next symbol of peace.
But what about Kaminari, Mina or Sato? These 3 don't seem like the people who are training daily or weekly to get stronger. Deku became a better user with his Quirk in 3 months than Kaminari and Sato with their Quirks, and these two had their Quirks for at least 11 years.
Kaminari or Sato should be 2 of the strongest people in the class with their Quirks, but if they can't control it or didn't get it stronger then what did they do?
Ojiro has a tail, but he seems to have learned MMA. Ochako wants to become a disaster rescue hero like No.13, but she still went and trained with a battle hero to learn more. Eraserheads' and Stain's Quirks don't give them physical boosts and they still are 2 of the strongest CQC fighters.
To be a hero doesn't just mean to have a strong Quirk. You have to train it and if you don't have a strong Quirk you have to compensate for it. A long time after this Arc there will probably be another test like at the beginning of the manga to see who improved how much with their Quirks. And this will show who had the will to continue this devilish training even after this arc.
Eraserhead said it, the students have to remember who they are and why they want to become heroes.
realistically, the kids are all tired and don't have their equipment and they're surrounded by poison gas. How the fuck do they get out of this?
Honestly, I really want don't want to see Dabi job to whatever foolishness Hori comes up with.
There are many possibilities.
Some of the villains are jobbers like Big Lips for example while others are strong like Dabi or Toga, the students maybe don't get out unharmed (not killed, but defeated), it could all be a ruse from Eraserhead that the other teachers are not with them and actually are hiding somewhere close, Shigaraki didn't know about this plan and sends Nomus with Blackmist to stop Dabi and the rest because of "Muh Glory", All Might didn't want to miss the camping time with Deku so he came in secret and wanted to surprise/scare him during the test of courage.
what quirk would you want, /a/
for me it would be to have a rubber body
They didn't rest. They just made food, also taking a nap doesn't restored tired muscles that you've been working all day.
There's always some dumb autist who has never done a day of physical labor or activity in his life who doesn't have any idea how long it takes you to recover.
Reddit, Bakugou is the second MC and rival while Ochako is the main heroine so it would be like shipping Sasuke with Sakura. Using Naruto as a comparison was retarded to begin with, Bakugou is very different from Sasuke and it's the same for Uraraka and Sakura or Hinata, fuck off.
They are monitored by teachers, they must have considered the time for the courage test in all of this. Kirishima was even surprised to see them so energetic, the ones who are the most tired are the remedials.
>Deku's TnJ failed on Kouta
>He will use it on Dabi so that there doesn't have to be a fight
>There will still be a fight and Deku defeats Dabi, but only after sacrificing and breaking a whole arm again
>Dabi: You don't know how it is to be born with a Quirk like mine! Everyone always told me how great of a villain i could be! No one ever told me i could become a hero!
>Deku: No, you are wrong. I know how you feel. I was born Quirkless and everyone told me the same, that i couldn't become a hero. Everyone, but him. His words on that day gave me the strength, the strength to follow my dream that no one believed in. And i will say these same words to you: You can become a hero!
>Dabi breaks down in tears and this scene looks like the end of the 1st chapter
>Chapter title: Dabi: The Origin
>More like Hinata
Fuck off. This is not a matter of "more like", comparing them to Naruto characters is retarded.Saying that she's more like Hinata just because of her crush is even more retarded. Go back to reddit.
Did any info drop on the know of Froppy's VA yet? Literally the only reason I can be hyped for the anime this soon into the manga's run.
I don't see how these villains don't totally job out unless they're here for a reason besides killing the kids.
With no bystanders besides Kouta, what're the stakes?
We have the following people present:
1. The pros/teachers
2. Class 1-A and 1-B
3. Kouta (the lone civvie)
4. The Villains.
Like, something has to be at risk here. I mean, credible in this fictional shounen series risk. Like SOMETHING has to be able to happen that can't be taken back easily, and we have to BELIEVE it's possible.
Please Jesus, don't let this be the first straight-cliche arc.
>Half the villains job or get off-screened
>Worst injuries amoungst the students are anime hatchmarks
>Teachers/Pro heroes mostly job out
>Marquee characters get a couple protracted fights that obviously end in victory
>Kouta provides the critical moment that turns the flow of the situation by using his quirk- because we HAVE to see it since it's been shown he practices with it.
>Kouta is healed, turns 180 on his views of heroes/quirks
>Before everyone leaves camp he fires off some smart-ass quip about the class still being "corny ass heroes", but, "I guess you're okay." OH YOU.
>Villain alliance horribly jobbing out again made "acceptable" because Shigaraki and co. get away with some other stupid shit in the meanwhile
I forget who this guy is but he's not some random dude from pixiv- his art is really insanely on point.
Lotta people wanna fuck that frog but she seems to be the most popular among the legit mangaka/artists that seem to like the show. I know people that don't read manga or watch anime and they go nuts over her design.
Theres nothing wrong with the ship especially given some of the other ships people come up with.
People just hate bakugou so that ship rustles their jimmies. One of the big reasons i hope horikoshi makes it canon.
She has one of the aesthetically best looking design out of the whole cast. As an artist myself. Yes, she is literally the best looking character and unique of them.
Froppy for MvC 4
This is like the one really stand out thing about Bakugou that makes him the most unlike a teenager.
Like, Todoroki is a weirdo depressive who has had a lifetime of assbeatings and a shitty family life to make him less interested in relationships (and he's now opening up).
Bakugou is basically the perfect representation of a ball of frustrated, angry hormones and he's asexual. I can get him not pursuing a relationship but no way a nigga like that doesn't peep on the girls a bit like "mmff".
> Proving my point
>Baku literally can't fuck himself because of his palms and is too young/prideful to get a fleshlight.
Suddenly his constant frustration makes so much sense. Imagine what he'd be like after finally getting off. Pic related.
Why did you dig this back up, anon? Can we please not shit up threads with waifu/shipper wars again.
This bitch definitely has.
>This explanation could also fit to Shigaraki and Dabi
The moment when the realization hits you: all the evil comes from people who can't masturbate because their Quirks would kill their dicks.
Not him, but' you're the retard.
That invisibility is most probably achieved by deflecting the electromagnetic light waves around her body so that what's behind her is seen in front of her too, there are already some working prototypes using this method.
It only makes sense that everything inside her gets invisible too.
She's invisible, not transparent.
Where does Ochako fit in that theory though?
>I don't see how these villains don't totally job out unless they're here for a reason besides killing the kids.
Dabi mentioned something about this only being a warning of sorts to the heroes and that this will probably be a hit and run battle. Some of the villains however look like they are going to disobey what he said and the ones that do are likely going to job to the students for going too far.
Kouta is probably going to end up putting out that forest fire with his quirk, though I hope he gets kidnapped after by the remaining villains, and whisked away to somewhere more populated with the risk of rescuing him higher. You know, force the heroes to choose to save him or save a bunch of other civilians. Sounds like something Shigaraki would do.
Man I really hope Horikoshi delivers with the plot. I've been getting that sinking feeling that he's floundering about and going nowhere for a while now, and only sticking to what's safe for a shonen series.
Something i love about bakugou is that in any other manga as the lancer they'd have the girls going crazy for him, but in this serious as it would be un real life he gets clowbed on constantly and no one takes him seriouslu.
I would actually really like to see what his reaction would be to a girl actually throwing some affection his way.
We don't know what exactly her quirk is yet but it was already confirmed that foreign matter is visible for at least a while.
My guess is something like her body fluids give things the property of invisibility. So her body is constantly invisible and things like food disappear after they're saturated enough.
No we know more about it then just that and momo knows all about it as well, she's just not creative enough yet.
We know she can't create livings thing(or at least her quirk can't.), she uses her fat to create them, she has a cool down time between each object and it depends on how big it is, She only can create things if she knows what it's made of and how it's made.
That's pretty much the whole quirk I don't think there is much more we need to know besides that.
No he just said he's waiting to explain exactly what her quirk is. That doesn't exactly mean there's another quirk or something, he could just mean that she can turn it off or just tell us that her quirk is a mutation or some.
So don't get your hopes up anon hopping for some amazing
>Always remember to wear protection with Tooru. Not just because of safe sex but because her juices will make your dick look like it's been skinned alive.
>it was already confirmed that foreign matter is visible for at least a while
That is just a gag. Jokes, gags, and etc are allowed to bypass logic. This is fact.
Stay angry faggot. Also, >>>/reddit/ is that way for highly intellectual discussion about fictional mangu power set.
I'm only angry that you pulled that "it's just a gag" line, which is the most shoddy asspull excuse for reasoning I've seen here yet.
The food is visible and going down Tooru's throat. You were wrong. Live with it.
IRC, Rugganigger and hipsters are here I see:
denial and Muh Opinion
She's really cute and has a great costume but I think why I like her design are her physical ticks- her natural posture when she isn't paying attention to it is frog-like; she slouches a bit, has a tendancy to bend her knees a little or squat, and has her arms and hands pulled up in front of her, and her tongue has a tendency to hang out a bit. She's froggy without having too many of the physical characteristics of a frog.
Little touches like that are nice.
I wonder if Ojirou's tail naturally wags or moves unconsciously like a dog's or something.
>Almost no one seems to hate those guys anymore
Because they are inbred circle jerking faggots. Which these threads are becoming. All SWJ threads turn into inbred circle jerks after time passes as soon as anime is made.
I cant handle it.
Im gonna be in full on depression that chapter, I know its coming.
If it's not at least twice as heart rending as the death of Elder Kwon in The Breaker then I declare MHA a failure.
pic related. Basically, imagine this scene with Midoriya.
The Breaker, and The Breaker: New Waves directly follow eachother without any real time skip.
The Breaker is a great read, New Waves has some amazing moments but fewer of them. The picture posted is one of them.
"New Waves" decides to shit out a bunch of young "new" characters and it's kinda hard to give a shit about any of them.
Also the MC gets sort of de-powered temporarily at the very end of The Breaker- and it's fucking agonizing how long it takes for him to reliably get back to kicking ass in New Waves. Oh boy when he does though, he does.
Protagonist is basically Midoriya too. Powerless guppy given great power, turns out based as fuck.
Is there an increase in quality in this manga? About 10 chapters in and it's so ridiculously cliché. I want to like it since I love the art and idea of it but the writing makes me roll my eyes
Just keep reading and if pic related doesn't keep you then you might as well just give up on it. Actually Just give up on on jump since most of the series are Cliche.
is it always like this on new years and what not, because i have been reading manga since 2008, but i dont remember the magazines having so many double issues at the start and end of the year?
Yes actually. Since I've been reading Jump, this appears to happen every year, at least the two or three years I began following rankings and stuff. The two week wait is grueling, but power through, anon. Just a week and a half to go.
Here's what you're looking:
Yeah, she really stands out. Other authors and artists love her as much as MHA's fanbase.
Oh man I remember that. I'm pretty sure that was the first big "How are you not gay for deku yet?" Moments. To be fair he was pretty fucking based.
Dude get ready for a ride. The tournament is one long ride of "oh shit" moments. Honestly really done well and considering how shit and dragged out tournaments usually are this one is great.
This just reminded me, Japan is going to go all darkness on us when he starts breaking his bones aren't they?
>Oh I can't curl my fingers anymore
>Better use my fucking cheeks
>Yeah I'm a genius PLUS ULTRA
Everybody just wanted him to stop at that point but no, he had to go deeper
Shioon ends up with like half the female cast lusting after his dick yeah, and there's not really any comedy in New Waves but he's kinda cut from the same mold as Deku in terms of being the "I don't give a flying fuck what happens to me, so long as I do what I think the right thing is". And hero-worship of his master until the end of New Waves.
Also the whole, "MC desperately learning to control his body-destroying power while his enemies multiply and come ever closer" thing is pretty similar.
What does "fridged" mean? Is it something Aussies do to bullfrogs?
it's a /co/ term for when a female character is killed off/permanently maimed/depowered/etc solely for the purpose of motivating another (usually male) character.
comes from green lantern, where a villain literally killed MCs waifu and stuffed her in the fridge for him to find.
praying for more ragdoll
nobody has even made any fanart of her
Those thugs approached the Kitty Kats from the front... how the fuck did one of them already get put out of commission?
Since they were hired by the school, you think that they would be up to snuff.
Why is attention to detail
being treated as autism
what the fuck is wrong with the youth?
You can't become a good artist unless you can pay attention to learning how to draw in detail least you want your art to suffer.
You know, I really don't mind that she jobbed. I just wanted to see her job on-screen. Wish Horikoshi would cut that skipping shit out already. He leaves so many things people would be interested to see. Love the manga still, but damn if that isn't frustrating.
He seems to be afraid of Bleach-tier battle filler where readers actually just stop caring that there's even a fight going on.
I also think he's rushing towards something- like probably All Might's death. I wouldn't mind him slowing down a smidge. Like nothing huge, but maybe an arc taking an extra 2-3 chapters so we can get a bit more detail.
The only arc that doesn't feel like it was insanely short was the Sports Festival and apparently Horikoshi was really annoyed at how long it turned out. I guess HxH's mangaka actually talked to him about it and was like, "oh yeah, tournament arcs kinda do that- don't stress about it."
>But what about Kaminari, Mina or Sato? These 3 don't seem like the people who are training daily or weekly to get stronger.
Mina has olympic athlete physical stats, martial arts skill, and some of the quickest reactions in the class.
Her problem is honestly that she's a musclehead, not that she doesn't train enough.
With the countless deathflags everyone expects him to die, but in reality someone will die who no one expected to. This person is
All For One.The person will die before making their dream come true and will give birth to the rise of new villains now that the person is gone.
She's just incapable of losing her cool.
Even when a lunatic was trying to dissolve her face the most reaction she showed was mild surprise.
She seems pretty upset when told how bad Aizawa was fucked up, also watching when he got mauled by the Noumu.
She's a good girl; she'd probably be upset if anyone got really hurt or died in front of her.
Also her range of expression may not actually be that big.
And she's one of the few students so far that would give their life to save another person (she still kept her cool and tryed to save Deku when she herself was in deep danger). The others are Deku (obvious reasons) and Todoroki (accepted by Hero Killer).
Because of last chapter, big hands nee-san might be in the list now too, but we still don't know
Whoa! Easy killer. Anon was merely making an observation based on the characteristics and past actions of some of the characters. Nothing wrong with a little speculation. Isn't that supposed to the purpose of these threads?
>He just jobbed in the last arc
It doesnt count as jobbing if you have no chance of realistically winning in the first place. AM pretty much let Deku drag him through the gate when he could have easily stopped them.
They said in her introduction chapter that they are good fighters. In 73 they said the 10 are competent fighters, unlike most of the villains they faced for the first time. She's also a wanted serial killer.
>She's also a wanted serial killer.
Is she? Where was this said? I just saw a picture of her with blood on her face and a guy in the background on the wall.
I dont want her to be villain. She's cute
Yes, they are highschoolers just like Toga seems to be one. But these 5 would be stronger than heroes like that Native guy who almost got killed by Stain, that Snakehair woman Momo worked with or the Hero Manual who Iida chose.
So why wouldn't Toga be a strong villain? At least stronger than the idiots who attacked USJ and were defeated by Deku and Mineta's Grapeballs.
Jobbing would be if he loses to a student who is not Todoroki. The villains here are strong.
>Jobbing would be if he loses to a student who is not Todoroki. The villains here are strong.
ehh, if the other students can take them down and bakugou loses, I'd put a job mark on it.
He jobbed enough already.
Lost against Deku and Ochako, almost got killed by the Noumu and won the sports festival because Todoroki still had doubts about using his fire side.
It's time that he does something good and we get to see how he would handle a serious fight against opponents who aren't freaking Godlike All Might or Indestructible Noumu.
I just want to know what poor jobber gets to fight Todoroki and Bakugou.
Because obviously the whole gimmick is gonna be Bakugou putting aside his bullshit to work with hated rival #2 in order to win.
No way two of the strongest kids lose their fight.
>Iida will either die or become a villain one day
>Lost against Deku and Ochako
He didn't really lose as so much they won the conditions out for them.
>won the sports festival because Todoroki still had doubts about using his fire side.
How does that prove anything? Todooki just surrender that doesn't mean he is stronger than Bakugou.
If the villains came prepared they would bring a villain like in the first chapter, that Mud guy with his fluid body.
Change mud for lava and he is the perfect opponent to take out Todoroki.
If there are any "killable" students it's basically Iida and Todoroki.
Iida because while I like him a ton he's kinda extraneous- he's not really top-rival tier, his personality is great but not a dynamic that only he provides (the straight-forward law-n-order honor student role could be filled by Momo), and strangely despite his massive epiphany we didn't get an "origin" during the stain arc. His character arc is basically completed already- he can just become a better fighter now which is nothing special since the rest of the class needs to do that.
Also he was designed and thrown in at the last moment. Doesn't mean he's not good, but it does mean the main planned arc of the story may not have included him at all in its design which means: expendable.
Todoroki is just too powerful. Yeah yeah, Midoriya will surpass him because even half-dead All Might would probably chump the shit out of Todoroki and Midoriya is going to be stronger than All Might in his prime eventually. The MC almost always ends up the strongest- that's fine.
I mean he's just too competent in general. He's over his depressive kid stuff enough to use both sides, he was absurdly strong already, and has been trained his whole life for this shit. It'll get old if every arc has to pull some dude with a quirk that's a hard counter to his (or handicap him) to make him have any trouble- or if he keeps getting fed the strongest enemies of every arc. Unless we're gonna go all One Piece with this shit and have the Midoriya/Bakugou/Todoroki "monster trio" who get fed the toughest badguys in each arc.
I'd kill him for a strong 2nd act finish. Like way, way long from now- like late second year of high school.
In the end though it's shounen- no one notable besides mentors and old people die in shounen. None of the kids will ever die, much less get crippled.
No one will die. Overall, Bakugou is even more competent than Todoroki and he got healed in 62. The cast is large he can use them in many ways. Todoroki is still a teen, no one among them was a match for Stain.
>No one will die.
Yeah, which is why I said that none of the students will likely die. They're just the only two I think are killable. I mean yeah everybody loves almost the whole cast and the fanfavorite side characters but there's not really enough pathos there for them to go.
Are you blind? That fig looks nothing like Deadpool. Am I being memed on or something?
>has one of the most op quirks
>wants to be a hero
>has low self-esteem due to her huge tits
>has to keep eating to expand her quirk
>the more she eats the bigger her tits get
>her self-esteem continues to drop
truly a tragedy
I can appreciate an artist wanting to be concise in his storytelling. It's a bummer when we lose potentially interesting content, but I've never felt like the pacing was bad in BnH, just that I wish I could see more.
Like you said, I'd rather this than have it turn into Bleach
Deadpool was pretty much wisecracking spider-man with guns, swords.
He's since moved past such pigeon holing to be more than a Spider-man Xerox. Not a lot, but just enough
