I almost done with chapter 36. i will dump most of the pages that i have done right now. I think i will update it after i finish today. I will make a v2 with the remaining pages from the chapter 40 later when the QCanon will do it.
I think it's delayed to february. I checked http://www.gmaga.co/latest/ and it looks like it isn't in the issue that's going to be out this month.
Choose between those 3 next pages. (i like the second but i don't know which one would be the best.
One double page and one simple page are left
>It has begun
There's something essential lost in translation in the top right bubble.
The original line goes along the lines of
>It really feels you can't get anywhere in Standard without a certain degree of cooperation
Also, fuck, I was looking forward to a new chapter tomorrow.
I don't think even half of the readers will understand what a bucking bronco is. Even I have no clue what its supposed to be.
Let's take a step back and consider simplifying it as
>That goes for both of them
I translated the original line as >both of them
as I thought it would overlap with the drawing too much but it seems you're a godlike cleaner/redrawer in addition to everything else.
I wish the WSJ version would've been as well thought out as this one, with more focus on the rivalry and inner conflict, instead it went full retard with adding karate moves to the dance, to gain more attention.
Last page of this V1. I will upload it to batoto after fixing this >>135627093
>Dat sexual tension
>Dat "you're gonna get loved tenderly" look
>Kiyoharu keikaku dooriing the shit out of everyone
I'm literally jumping around here.
This is one of the best things I've ever read, and there's been zero romance bullshit so far, only some sweet scenes. Can't really say anymore than that, you're gonna have to read it.
>Let's take a step back and consider simplifying it as
Oh wait, just realized the "Bulge" sfx.
It's supposed to be "Glance"
This seems much better to me. While the usage of "wild" in such short succession bothers me slightly I think they're fine enough. Thank you.
Sesuji wo Pin! to Shikakou Kyougi Dance-bu e Youkoso, a dance manga from WSJ.
Aside from >>135627093 what Dancefag has already brought up, there's not much for me to comment on here. I'll upload the remaining script for 40 by next week Thursday.
Great work, seriously, on the redrawing. There are some small typos and things I'll point out once I get them all down.
Will you be uploading some of the other chapters you did to Zippyshare or Madokami?
Second panel, you've got two text layers overlapping.
>How many should I pass this heat?
>Getting worried because Sengoku-san hasn't answered back?
Answered back doesn't fit here. I'd suggest
>Getting worried because Sengoku-san hasn't replied yet?
You're missing stroke effects on two of the lines on the bottom of the page.
>Just three months ago they were so flimsy.
>So I am.
>So am I.
>It really feels you...
>It really feels like you...
For the first bubble in the v1 you uploaded on Batoto.
>Catch her reins already.
Catch feels a little weak here. A more forceful verb, like seize or grab, would be better I think.
>Seize her reins already
>Grab her reins already
And that's it.
That's a pretty common sports term.
In this chapter there are initially 55 pairs. They can't fit all 55 pairs on the dancefloor at the same time, so they divide them up into multiple "heats".
"Heat 1" means it's the first group's turn to dance.
"Heat 2" means the second group, etc.
A round of the competition is completed after all heats have finished dancing.
>what's so special about the protagonist
I don't think anyone in the manga knows, that's why they're curious about him.
He's grown exceptionally well for having so little experience.
I suppose you could say he's dedicated or a fast learner, but that's probably not the answer you're looking for.
Heats have been explained. It's a segment of a round for one type of dance. You may have more than one heat for a given dance category because you can't fit all the dancers on the floor for one go.
The art gives a very good idea of movement and flow, so it's not hard to guess what move they're doing. If they're talking about a move outside of a dance then it's usually either been done before, is about to be practiced, or will come up in a later dance.
The protagonist has good eyes(this is a plus for any sport. for dance it means he can grasp more of his partner's movements and see the flow of the dance floor) and excellent visual learning. He can't learn shit from being told things and he doesn't know how to put things into words. He's a lot better at understanding what he sees and replicating it. He's also better at expressing himself by showing, which is perfect for dance.
Thanks for explaining heats better than me, but is it really that hard to see why the protagonist is like this?
Only in that both have good eyes.
Maruo's good with explanations while Tatara is better with demonstrations.
Maruo thinks his moves out thoroughly while Tatara is far more emotional and instinctual.
Thanks for the translations again, you did in a month our 2 more then those hostage translators did in a year.
pic related was my favorite scene thus far.
These chapters did not disappoint.
I don't know why but I really dislike the WSJ one. Maybe its because they purposely put the MC and the girl on a different tier than the other people in the club. So many rival characters already but they are just against the club president and the 2nd year couple. The people in that manga just overshadow the main couple too much.
