He's the only character designer I've come across where his concepts give such a strong sense of the character and the mood, rather than just being a reference for the animators. Sure, the show isn't riding on it, but I like that.

Ito - works on most Yuasa anime: Kaiba, Kemonozume, Child Machine, he also adapted the source material designs for Ping Pong, Tatami Galaxy and Mind Game
Sadamoto - most Gainax works and the guy has variety: Wings of Honneamise, Evangelion, FLCL, Diebuster also Hosoda films. I mean the guy created some of the most iconic designs in the medium
Sadamoto - Angel's Egg, Uri no Tora he also created designs for lots of the Final Fantasy installments. Just google the guy, his art is beautiful/, stylish and very characteristic
Take - designs for Katanagatari, Zaregoto and worked on the JAE short - I can Friday by Day.

Also gonna add Umakoshi, adapted shitload of designs like Berserk but he also created original ones for Casshern Sins and Precure.

That's what's so great about Adachi. My favourite manga/anime is Touch. And reading anything else from Adachi makes me feel like I read Touch for the first time again. It's like when you were a child and you force your parent to tell you the same story over and over again but always a bit different so it feels new everytime you here the same story.
