I wonder if he ever regrets becoming Hokage? I mean shit how is he even so busy anyway? The Third used to fuck off on walks and Tsunade used to have drunken gangbangs with black guys and never fell far behind on her work.
You think he's attracted to Rin? He's a sad old man, who's devoted his life to his daughter, at the cost of ever finding love himself. When his daughter grows up with this weird electra complex, he makes the ultimate sacrifice and agrees to indulge again.
He lived for his daughter and he's going to keep living for her until his death.
>Maintained hundreds of shadow clones across the entire world
>they were all fighting a massive war and taking realtime battle damage
>even then they knew when they would disappear
What the fuck happened to his chakra levels where he can't even maintain a single one during his daughter's birthday?
At the end of the series his clones were so advanced technically that they were almost completely separate entities
>What the fuck happened to his chakra levels where he can't even maintain a single one during his daughter's birthday?
>Maintain thousands of shadow clones every day as Hokage, sending them out to help everyone in the village do the most mundane shit all day, every day. To the point that you thought you could handle everything all at once, until it blows up in your face when you try using this same tactic with family.
He fell asleep in his office, and therefore the shadow clone went "poof"
Ain't this the truth, Daichi is the loser of Usagi drop.
He had to spend an entire timeskip mentally convincing himself that he could find her attractive.
He probably uses drugs/hypnosis to get an erection for her.
Paper work is boring, so he fell asleep.
Should have just left the shadow clone in the office and you go to your daughter's party, but I think Shikamaru would have caught on that way.
She's dead inside if that counts.
I wish anime characters could be half as entertaining as Sasuke.
>iz only grail war why u heff to be so mad
Gendo Ikari was always my first choice until I watched all of Aquarion Logos. Subete may have never had a real father, but that guy was fucked up beyond belief because of his surrogate/adopted father.
He may be the worst dad
but Baki still couldn't kick his ass
I came here to post this.
Thankfully I don't have to lose faith in 4chan yet.
>kowtow to Freiza
>kowtow to Beerus
For someone who claims to be royalty, purple just ain't his color.
>Coupled with her not being raised by him from birth, it's not surprising what happened.
Oh yeah, we regularly hear of adoptions turning into marriages.
Oh wait we dont.
Fuck you, the ending was bullshit and you know it.
And when we do, how many become marriages?
This entire thing was abought a cute father/daughter relationship, then it ended by shitting all over that. You know I'm right. If it had the slightest hint of foreshadowing and was done well, maybe, jsut maybe it would be ok. But the ending ruined everything.
No, the part where he penetrates her. If anything he is trying to scare her away without actually trying to to hurt her. If he didn't give a fuck he would have hurt her like he did with karin.
Why do so many of these fucking pairings feel so forced?
Holy shit, kishi can't into chemistry.
The Boruto movie is all about how Naruto is an awkward dad who kind of sucks at it at times, but he tries I guess.
Boruto has similar issues
However him sending a shadow clone to his daughter's birthday and ruining it, was a pretty big fuck up.
>Kishi's editor tells him he needs to write "strong women"
>Kishi gives every female character hulk strength
goddamn, how did i forget that song
No, no, I like this.
>"Create a 'strong woman'"
>Take it completely literally
>Sakura is insanely strong as far as pure physical power goes but she's a shit ninja and has the emotional strength of a small child
>himawari being strong
>a bad thing
Stop being morally unrighteous people.
Himawari punching out a god slayer at age 5 is some "Goten can go super saiyan younger then when Goku was getting his ass kicked by Taopaipai, while having 0 training" tier level bullshit
She doesn't really have super strength though just really good Chakra control bit not a whole lot of Chakra. She's also slow and can't take to much damage.
So really she's kind of weak.
The movie seemed to force Naruto into being a neglectful Dad just for the sake of drama for Boruto's character, otherwise he'd be a happy well-adjusted kid.
It just doesn't seem like Naruto, to neglect his family like he did. Hokage paperwork or not. Especially weird that Shikamaru didn't see him as being overworked either. All the other past Hokage's didn't seem as down trotted as Naruto either.
I completely agree, all that shit is for the sake of "muh parents" drama for the new MC. It's really stupid and plays into all those overused cliches and tropes about "high-income/high-level job = shitty parent and shitty personal life".
Also Naruto had years and years and years to learn how to be an efficient Hokage.
I mean Kakashi was essentially only Hokage to keep Naruto's seat warm because he was 16. If he was any older he would've been elected as the 6th right after the fight against Pain. Basically Kakashi was a regent so there's really no excuse for Naruto not having the Hokage job under his belt by Boruto.
Unless he was fighting aliens or some other ANCIENT EVIL during his spare time...
>The movie seemed to force Naruto into being a neglectful Dad just for the sake of drama for Boruto's character, otherwise he'd be a happy well-adjusted kid.
Naruto wasn't super neglectful, but this job keeps him pretty busy, and he's only been sworn in during the last year or so officially.
Sasuke notes that Boruto is kept in pretty new clothes all the time, he is watched after and loved.
If you thought the movie was all about how Naruto is neglectful for the sake of drama, then you missed the point.
Really the movie was symbolic of Kishimoto's own relationship with his son, and how he'd missed out on some major events and sometimes felt neglectful, because he was always working.
He wondered if his son would go through a rebellious phase because of never getting to see him.
The movie isn't forced drama for the sake of it, rather the movie is based entirely on the creator's own life and real situations you could say. He's had to miss out on so much due to his job and always keeping track of things, sometimes he worries he's not there enough.
Go listen to that Cat's in the Cradle song.
I think Kishimoto just projected his own problems onto Naruto despite how unlikely it would be for an orphan to neglect his children. Hokage or not.
I see more Naruto as the kind of guy who would dump all the paperwork on Shikamaru to go play tricks on the villagers with his son, but still be there when he's needed.
>Also Naruto had years and years and years to learn how to be an efficient Hokage.
You kidding, even the bonus comic that came out with the movie shows he's only just now become Hokage.
His kids were already this old when he was sworn in.
>how unlikely it would be for an orphan to neglect his children. Hokage or not.
An abused kid will likely abuse their kids in turn, even if they hated it growing up.
Its an example; because you do take your idea of how parents should be from how your parents were, whether it was right or wrong, and whether or not you agreed with it. You can't help becoming your parents eventually.
If your parents were never home, and you don't know how to show affection to your kids, then guess what.
>implying "muh genetics"
>naruto was a weakfag for half the series
>naruto's bloodline doesn't have inherited cheat moves
>Hinata was weak as shit before all her training
>implying children get 1+1 from their parents and not 1/2 + 1/2
She should be weak, the only reason she would be strong at a young age would be if Naruto had been teaching her sage mode secretly or something.
>and he's only been sworn in during the last year or so officially.
So Boruto was being a complete selfish brat for no reason? It's one thing his Naruto has been Hokage since he was like 3/4 years old and was never around, but if it's really only been a year or two, then he was an unreasonable brat for no reason? WHY DID HINATA OR NARUTO NOT TALK TO HIM ABOUT THIS?
Exactly, he should've been doing Kakashi's job for 10 years by then. I'd imagine Kakashi being more like the hokage in name only.
Honestly though, not making Naruto a 16 yr old hokage was such utter blueballing bullshit and seemed a inherently cruel reward for all the shit he did during the war. He essentially carried every single battlefield with his shadowclones and then killed a god without being an edgelord faggot, and he doesn't get shit.
Your argument is retarded. Orphans still have father figures and role models. They don't live in a closed off world with walls all around. They don't have parents ? They'll just take example on the parents next door.
>He fell asleep in his office, and therefore the shadow clone went "poof"
Out of the excuses or reasons someone could have in their shadow clone disappearing in that context, that sounds pretty bad.
Tsubasa's real father is worse but since he hasn't appeared yet
I shouldn't have to look into the author's lifestory to try and understand why our MC is acting out of character to how he has for an entire series.
Kishimoto self-projected onto Naruto, and that's not a good thing.
Maybe its something like being president where you need to be a certain age. Not to mention being Hokage is mostly paper pushing, and I doubt teenage nerdo would have handled office work all that well.
>Sasuke notes that Boruto is kept in pretty new clothes all the time, he is watched after and loved.
I think he meant that Boruto wasn't busting his ass training like his two daddies, hence why his clothes were "clean"
Pretty sloppy writing, considering that Gaara became Kazekage as a teenager simply on the merit of being OP
Off-topic but was the aunt from Grave of the fireflies really that unreasonable? The kid could've worked. If even kids after the cultural revolution could work and make nice shoes then so could he. Then she wouldn't have anything to whine about.
I happen to have uncut version
if that helps
Because just like with Boruto the movie, Grave of the Fireflies is based on the writer's own experiences in part.
After WW2 etc
He was a kid, he still had pride, or didn't realize his situation, but his decisions fucked him in the end. Stories based on real experiences, or warped from real experiences in part, have more of an appeal than stories based on nothing.
If Naruto really has only become Hokage a few years prior to the film, then Boruto was just being a spoiled brat that wasn't actually being ignored. Naruto was just being overworked (and doesn't know how to say No when he needs to)
Talking about Boruto, how the fuck did these assholes even get there? Sasuke had to use his magic eye teleport in the first place!
He's not really neglecting him, he's just being an awkward parent who doesn't know how to stay close to his kid at the moment while also balancing his job. So occasionally some things fall out of place or get messed up because Naruto is still new to this at the moment.
His kid is also going through some rebellious phases for various reasons. His dad was there almost every day before this, but now he goes days, weeks, etc where dad isn't there. Maybe dad promises he'll be there even, but for the tenth time he decides to bail at the last minute.
Both sides are valid though, but in the end its hard for parent and child to really see eye to eye. The entire point he made with this movie is to create both the perspective of parent and child. Where you understand one perspective or another based on your age when you're watching this.
The village is old style but the nation is modern from what I can see.
>bloodline doesn't have inherited cheat moves
Uzumaki bloodline makes life force and chakra much greater.
Namikaze bloodline overrides any genetics that have to do with hair and eyes.
I know he is a kid, and that it's his own story that's what so fucking sad about it all. That said a lot of people hate the aunt. I get that she wasn't nice and didn't try to stop them more forcefully, if I had two kids like that and the world had just gone to shit I wouldn't have treated them like that. She is a shit person but I still don't think she was all that wicked.
Think about it logically.
Every other Uzumaki had red hair:
Mito ( Hashirama's wife), Fuso (Nagato's mom), Karin's mom, Naruto's mom, Nagato, Karin, all of them.
Why did Naruto get the blonde genes, when they are recessive?
Does Uzumaki bloodline really have more chackra though? Because when he didn't use the fox or sage Naruto's chakra was like at impotent levels. He could barely summon tadpoles.
That's what happens when you learn to rely on power not your own. Although Naruto was stated to have a great reserve of chakra when trained by Jiraiya, he have mostly neglected its use later on.
Wasn't it that he was just bad at releasing it? Even before learning how to summon frogs, Kakashi said Naruto had way more chakra than Sasuke or Sakura. Same with climbing trees, where he struggled to release enough to stick to the trunk, despite the useless cuck getting it on her first try.
Orochimaru had the chakra seal on him up until he started training with j-dawg. Though he also didnt have much skill im controlling it, which was the focus of his later training hence why he became so OP it was a joke
Naruto had his chakra behind multiple seals
By the end he could access it all and make use of ninetails and nature chakra.
No one in the series comes close to his chakra levels regardless of Ninetails.
the other answers are right, but to answer your question; No the uzumaki bloodline doesn't have more chakra, they are very tenacious and generally live long life spans, citing "strong life force" as the reason. They're also extremely good at sealing jutsu, ironically, a type of jutsu naruto never once used.
The thing that tipped sasuke over the edge was not one but two hardened criminals broke in and raped him
Orochimaru did it physically and embedded his chakra in him forcibly. Itachi arrives shortly after and mind rapes him after snapping his arm
Konoha did nothing to either one of them. That was a little much for anyone to take. I don't see how Sasuke gets so much flak for breaking mentally. No person could take that in stride.
This is after having his literal entire clan killed by his brother and mind raped then. It's like people wanted him to just walk it off.
>Itachi arrives shortly after and mind rapes him after snapping his arm
He also buttfucks the person in charge of making Sauce stronger and tells Sauce that he is only interested in Naruto right when he was starting to feel inferior to him.
Why did he say that?
Isn't he supposed to be a quintuple agent or something? Just unnecessary insult to injury.
Like when you try to solicit sex from an undercover cop and they still make fun of the size of your penis.
Kouki is gonna have some really intense sexual dysfunctions when he's older.
>Childhood friend get
>Your Mom has a thing for her Dad
>Gives it up because of you
>Focus on childhood friend now
>plant flags for years
>first kiss get
>many blushus get
>on again off again, will they? won't they?, type deal with her
>all of a sudden she rejects you
>broke up with your girlfriend to confess to her
>your Mom is getting remarried to a faceless guy you don't know
>she still has some lingering regrets over the guy who you've adopted as your father figure
>childhood friend is impregnated by your father figure, who also happens to be her Dad.
>basically your love rival has been living under the same roof with your crush for years
>you are all alone
It's not like 12 year old Naruto looked much better.
At least he isn't as autistic anymore and doesn't dress as badly.
Naruto was only ever good looking when he was 15 or so. It's that way for most guys unfortunately, though I would think they could do better in 2D.
Naruto's issue was not having parents period, not the amount of time he had with them. And he outright doted on his kids before becoming hokage, which may have been the only disservice as it was harder for Boruto to take when he wasn't able to spend as much time with them later.
If you want awful Naruto fathers then take Gaara's father. Convinced Gaara his mother hated him all to test his emotional control (the kid was like six years old) and then proceeded to send assassins after him out of the belief that this was best for him.
And even then Naruto just became the Hokage. It's essentially the story of the dutiful father getting promoted to a position that takes more time out of his day, and him and his family getting used to the change.
Wasn't Neji supposed to be the Itachi of Hyuuga? Him dying to toothpicks and Hinata remaining a weak love interest throughout the series kinda made them look bad in retrospect.
If he had a non-shit family they'd have had Himawari's birthday party at his office because they know how busy he is.
It's not like he's writing porno while his godson is alone, crying, orphaned, plotting to kill an entire village.
Toothpicks? Those things were spears that actually grew inside the person they impaled for extra deadliness. Not to mention the ten tails enhanced the attack.
As for Hinata, by "The Last" she's only weak in the context of enemies that the majority of the Naruto world would be weak compared to.
>Wasn't Neji supposed to be the Itachi of Hyuuga?
He was the Sasuke of the Hyuuga
Except when he lost his hatred, he lost his reason to keep advancing and stay relevant in the plot.
Naruto is the only one at fault, the world is at peace and the only issue at the moment was organizing some stupid ninja exams.
All he had to do was leave the paperwork to the clones for a single night, or at least he should have rushed home to apologize instead of staying in the office making googly eyes with Sauce.
Do you think he scolds her when she makes him cum to soon?
Even if the world is at peace, he still has to maintain it. Especially because they do still have enemies.
Also he's essentially the president even if the village is at peace that doesn't mean that he doesn't still have a lot of do.
He was working.
No, Sauce was always talented. Just shit in comparison with Itachi.
oh men too bad i wasnt there
thats pure gold
There's a lot more to a hokage's work than handling conflicts. Not to mention the world is only peaceful in the sense that there are not major conflicts, there are still many dangerous ninja out there.
And given the clones can apparently vanish if made to function for longer than a certain period of time, it makes sense he would have to handle things himself if there was paperwork that had to be done by a certain time.
Still, I fear Kishimoto projected too much of his personal time constraints onto Naruto, not recognizing that at the very least shadow clones would let him have more free time than otherwise (admittedly the film sort of addresses this by having Naruto's clones doing a lot of things for the village that they really don't need to do).
And one shouldn't overestimate how much Naruto could use clones for work either. It does take him effort to maintain them (as shown through the series when serious shocks to his mind or body could cause them all to vanish).
Spear practice, actually.
Indeed, it was also later indicated that Sasuke potential was just as good at Itachi, but his skills were centered in other areas (ninjutsu vs. genjutsu). Sasuke could control Amatarasu in ways Itachi couldn't, but Sasuke lacked the ability to use Tsukyomi the way Itachi could.
>And given the clones can apparently vanish if made to function for longer than a certain period of time
>And one shouldn't overestimate how much Naruto could use clones for work either. It does take him effort to maintain them
Proof: Entire war.
No but more like Kishi gave Naruto's shadow clones powerhacks during the war. They could sustain themselves for days in sage mode while firing off multiple rasengan attacks, but it may have had something to do with fox chakra linking them or some other bullshit.
The real Naruto took an indefinite leave of absence to go shank some little kid with a sharingan alongside the other most powerful person in the planet.
I'm sure Shikamaru and some clones can handle Konoha for a night without him.
There's a difference between being tired physically and being tired mentally especially if you've had a lack of sleep (Naruto has visible bags under his eyes in the movie-so he hasn't been sleeping for a while), and there is a lack of adrenaline to keep you going.
The war didn't last very long, and he was younger back.
Which was also a part of his business as Hokage. He was going to speak to Sasuke regarding their new enemy but then he got attacked. Sarada and Chocho originally just came along for the ride, but lIke any true Uchiha she made the whole thing about her.
Why couldn't he just leave the Kagebunshin to do the office work instead?
Clone vanishes while grabbing papers, paper falls in paper shredder (or flies out a window, or into water), important document is lost, there are tons of ways using clones for detailed work for more than short time could be disasterous.
Then why couldn't he just have several other clones on standby to take the disappeared clone's place?
The real one to blame for that is Kurama, who didn't bother to unblock the sealed chakra and wake him up (and we all know the fox did that on purpose).
I doubt Naruto cared much though, he didn't seem excited all that much for the actual inauguration as much as becoming hokage. More likely he gushed in happiness over Himawari awakening the byakugan and being so strong with it.
>clones are 1:1 copies of him
>all clones disappear when main body falls asleep
>can have thousands of clones at once
why doesn't main body just lay around the house drinking coffee during work hours? Or why not have another clone punch his balls when he gets drowsy?
>Steals his son away from his mother at age 2 to take him on a 13 year training trip.
>Tells his son that his mother is insane and if he doesn't become a man among men she will require them to commit ritual suicide.
>Covers his son in raw fish and throws him into a pit of starving, feral cats, multiple times until he goes insane from it, all to learn a supposed super technique.
>Betrothed his son off to at least 6 different families, all to get the dowries out of it just to line his own pockets or fill his stomach at the time.
>Takes his son to a cursed spring where he is cursed for life to turn into a girl when splashed with cold water.
>Forces his son, upon coming of age, to commit to the one betrothal that matters to him, which happens to be with the worst of any of the girls in the series.
Yeah, anon, we've had this discussion before and it's universally considered to be genma
To this day it'll still never be topped.
Indeed the elders outright state they only allowed Gaara to be kazekage in the belief that it would help them control him.
And for all his power Naruto was nowhere near ready to actually lead a nation at the end of the war. Power is not the only thing that one needs as a kage.
The more clones there are the harder it is to maintain them when doing anything of real complexity. Recall during the wind training that once Naruto got past the initial stage of training the number of clones he could maintain was reduced substantially.
And he can't maintain thousands. I'm pretty sure the limit is around a thousand (and typically they vanish in a short time), and many vanishing after doing a mentally straining task can cause him to lose consciousness.
Sure sure but they could just give him the title like they did with Gaara while they taught him the ropes.
It makes me wonder what he was doing for all those years being the strongest guy in the world and still >tfw no hokage
Do you think he was actively asking to become hokage? Or was he trying to skirt around the issue because it was the elephant in the room and he didn't want to seem overeager?
Most 16 yr olds aren't mature enough to save everyone from living inside a fantasy dreamworld and then killing a god, but this one did. He shouldn't need to go through all those bullshit formalities.
>"Hey guys can I become Hokage now?"
>"Remember that Pain dude? Hahaha that sure was a hard fight, all while my best friend was being a terrorist too. Whoo lad talk about effort, I can't remember, did anyone die? No? Wow! The entire village was destroyed and nobody died? Amazing!"
>"Naruto, the thing is... I think you should wai-"
>"Hey you know how you guys were all trapped in a tree and then I fought a god, befriended 9 chakra beasts who are classified as natural disasters, fought on dozens of battlefields at the same time, stopped Madara from crushing hundreds of ninja with a meteor, reformed my terrorist edgelord best friend by sacrificing an arm, and I'll while keeping casualties out of-"
>"Naruto please, please...please just stop, we need to milk the series for another few years. You can't have it all, I'm sorry. Here, as a consolation I'll make Sasuke's daughter have a crush on you."
>"I guess I'll take what I can get Kishimoto..."
>have another clone punch his balls when he gets drowsy
OK, the thought of a clone on standby ready to punch Naruto in the dick is just fucking hilarious.
Because Naruto is retarded and having clones for fighting is probably easier on him than using them to do thinking.
Alternately he made a clone and had it do paperwork before and it got bored and made a clone itself to do paperwork for it and it kept going.
He was in training by Kakashi to be hokage, and still had missions, not to mention dating Hinata and eventually marrying her, then raising a family.
And you're acting like he saved everyone on his own. If it weren't for the alliance as a whole, Kakashi, Sasuke and even Sakura, Naruto would have been dead many times over before he helped save everyone. Send saving didn't involve much in the way of country-leading skills either.
Because for the Hokage to bump his elbow and suddenly disappear would cause a crisis. Not to mention if you sent a body double to a politcal gathering and somebody found out it was a fake, you'd lose so much integrity as a leader. And because this is ninja world, you have to be able to fight giant demon dogs at a moment's notice, and a Shadow Clone isn't capable of that. Also you can't be a lazy fuck and clone yourself for work, because the clone will be a lazy fuck too.
>The clones aren't free thinking
Clones are literally just expendable copies of you
They know they are expendable, so however willing you are to do something for the greater good, that's how willing clones would be to do crazy stuff
>The clones aren't free thinking
They definitely are. They lose all link to the host after being made. There's even a filler where they mutiny a boat Naruto is on.
Also yeah but without Naruto everyone would be dead. Without everyone Naruto would be dead. He obviously had the greatest impact on the battlefield and was indispensable to winning of any kind. Not to mention the # of casualties.
>And because this is ninja world, you have to be able to fight giant demon dogs at a moment's notice, and a Shadow Clone isn't capable of that
Any clone is capable of fighting Madara Uchiha by itself. Clones only disappear via elbow bumping in comic relief situations.
>Alternately he made a clone and had it do paperwork before and it got bored and made a clone itself to do paperwork for it and it kept going.
I'M MR. MEERUTO! LOOK AT ME!
One of the novels gives it more grounds, wherein Ino saves Sai from mind rape brainwashing and actually goes into his mind to comfort him and bring him back. They develop a real bond from that.
Ino actually surprisingly ended up one of the better-treated Naruto female characters given how much she got to accomplish in the war despite being a minor character (even causing the ten tails to miss an attack at one point).
Said clone ran out of chakra against Madara after only a couple of moves, and would have been destroyed by the meteor if not for that rubber ninja protecting him. Regardless of their strength the fact is clones can still be destroyed by any solid hit, int he war they were just lucky they had allies to keep those hits from landing most of the time.
She even got to do talk to and work alongside zombie Hashirama, though she should have skipped showing Naruto's gay thoughts to the whole alliance
Yeah but Naruto could make way more solid clones if he wanted, so I doubt he's send a ghetto clone out to do diplomatic shit/or even go outside the village.
He'd give it like a 10% chakra spike.
Actually multi shadow clone was the forbidden art (not shadow clone itself), and that was due to how making more than a few shadow clones would be such a big chakra drain that it would kill most ninja. The idea that clones could rebel and refuse to vanish is purely unjustified filler (that turned out to just be a dream anyway).
That's not how shadow clones work, they each get an equal amount of chakra and the original has their chakra reduced by the same amount. The only chakra surges a clone could get was from chakra sealed in them that they normally couldn't access (i.e. the part of the nine tails that got shadow cloned along with them).
Not the professor from the android arc in Gintama?
Actually I'm surprised Naruto never created his own jutsu revolving around the shadow clone, instead making all that Big Strong Power Attack! stuff with the rasengan.
Think about all the wasted opportunities for "Naruto the clone hokage" or something, he could've perfected the jutsu to the point where the clones were almost edo tensei levels of broken, with teleportation built in and no time limits or chakra limits.
I feel like there could be an even worse one besides Tucker from FMA but I cant think of it
How bout overpowered dads?
They'd cease to be shadow clones then, given the whole idea behind them is they are created by splitting the user's chakra in half. Not sure what you mean by built in teleportation either.
These asshats are pretty high up on the list.
hey hey at least shou tucker tried to remake her in the 2003 because he was pretty guilty. Also it's not like he killed her.
Who knows, Nina could've had perfectly normal brain functioning but was just getting used to using dog vocal cords.
Yeah that's the point... he'd perfect shadow clones to the where it's a different clone jutsu altogether. That's what making a new jutsu means, it means, like, not the same...
Very few characters were shown to have actually created completely original jutsus. Most of them were modifications of existing jutsu that were given new names. Even things like rasengan were created based on other techniques (namely the tailed beast bombs).
Again, if they are using a different concept completely then they are not a "perfected" existing jutsu but another jutsu entirely. They'd be nothing like shadow clones if they lasted forever. Heck there is no such thing as limitless chakra beyond edo tensei (and they only got that due to being linked to the afterlife, and even then the amount of chakra they could use at any one time was limited). Even Kaguya had chakra limtis (though they were the highest possible as she had access to most all the chakra on Earth).
He didn't kill Kaguya, she was immortal. He (and Sasuke, with Sakura and Kakashi's help) sealed her.
In a matter of a few years Naruto created a number of jutsu variations that only he could perform. That's more than most ninja could hope to do in a lifetime. Yet he was never the sort suited to making completely new jutsu, his imagination was built more on adapting existing concepts.
>Kishi's editor tells him he needs to make Sarada capable
>Kishi says he's got it
>Editor rejects Kishi's original plan(to have her be the first Uchiha without Sharingan) and makes Kishi read not one not two but THREE Women's Psychology Books
>Through a miracle, Sarada ends up not being a jobber
He knew that Gohan was way stronger than cell. That's why he was so confident. He just did not take into account the fact that Gohan was both a little bitch and a fucking sadistic psycho (when transformed only of course.) Goku was probably the best father in the Cell arc though.
Mountains of paperwork, organizing missions for village ninja, reviewing mission reports, having meetings with elders and clan leaders, keeping up with news in other nations, dealing with threats to the village from within and without, getting berated by his assistant if he slacks off, etc.
This was already discussed earlier in the topic. The more detailed the work one makes a clone do the more strain it places on the original. There is also a risk of the clone poofing away if it is maintained for too long (recall normally Naruto kept individual clones active for a few minutes at most, and never for more than a few hours).
Well, she sort of is since Bort gets to train with the two ninja gods while she is off just doing Hulk punches.
However her getting to become ninja president, being the MC of the gaiden and being one of the Boruto's main relationships rather than ending up as another irrelevant cumrag is a huge step-up for Kishi.
White hair had to come from somewhere
yeah, still calling bullshit, he has chakra hax, he trained with a hundred clones doing something complex AND strenuous for long periods of time before he became some kind of godchild, and you're going to tell me he can't handle of few extra clones to do paperwork?(why is he even bothering with some of the clones he has to begin with? they have computers now, you don't have to go in person for every little thing)
It's just a plot device to shoehorn in angsty drama so his son can act like that punkshit from catcher in the wry when he has no real problems other than *gasp his father has to WORK!
Now if only Kishimoto had the actual balls to change mothers, Gaiden would have been the best thing Kishi has written in this trainwreck of franchise just by the sheer amount of trollage that would have caused. Well that, and because the moral would have been actually there for everyone to see, it would have helped Sakura's character (because we know she's a lost cause) and because it would make even more sense considering Sarada worships Naruto
You were surprised that the same manga that shat all over a guy who claimed that everything was decided by destiny even when the "loser" MC turned out to be the child of prophecy and the reincarnation of a ninja God doesn't care about its moral and messages?
>Editor rejects Kishi's original plan(to have her be the first Uchiha without Sharingan)
What the fuck? When did this happen? I don't even like the Uchiha and It would have pissed me off for him to have Sarada without sharingan. I mean, surr Boruto doesn't have Byakugan, but he already has prodigy status and cool techniques and all that jazz.
Is Kishimoto really that stupid?
Probably anon talking out of his ass, Kishi loves them red eyes way too much to not give them to his new waifu.
Kishi did read a book on womens' psychology in order to prepare for writing the gaiden though.
Never mind, just multiplexed two versions to get one with the right Japanese audio and the right subs. Too bad the Japanese audio is camrip quality, is there a version with good quality Japanese audio?
On the right, for the worst dad contest, i'm late but i couldn't stop puking for all that naruto stuff.
So, anyone on /a/ who actually knows this? I'd be surprised.
People always misunderstand this. Naruto's criticism toward Neji was never about destiny not existing or power not mattering (heck even in that battle Naruto wins not just through guts but because he has a godlike beast in him that has Neji later stating toward the end of part 1 that Naruto is the most powerful person he ever fought) but Neji's belief that a person's efforts were pointless if they didn't win or succeed. To Naruto things like Hinata and Lee's perseverance in adversity had value, and Neji had no right to claim it didn't. Likewise Naruto tells Neji that Neji is still a genius, despite losing. Both their efforts had value.
I still don't get why the anime got so much hate. It was decent, and the first few episodes were pretty good. Shame about the budget dying at the end. RIP Manglobe.
Good thing Sasuke prevented Naruto from becoming a Sasuke-tier parenting to his kids
Naruto is objectively a good dad. Reminder that the type of character who becomes a hero is one with an absentee father. By not being around for his kids, he is guaranteeing they will go on to do great things.
>Boruto is a brat for no reason?
Not entirely, but he has little reason for it from an adult's point of view. Which everyone in the village basically tells him.
>He was an unreasonable brat for no reason?
Again, they said it. He was used to Naruto being super-dad, and now that Naruto has to spend time in an office dealing with stuff instead of just not being around for a week or two while on mission, he's acting out to get attention. Which is the sort of thing a child does, but yeah, it's bratty and unreasonable.
>Why did they not talk to him about this?
They probably did, and barring my memory of an explicit moment, they almost certainly have. Again, every other authority/adult figure in Boruto's life takes time out of their day when they see him acting out, to try and explain it to him.
This is probably part of why he's acting out. If he had someone who just went, "yeah, it sucks that your dad isn't around much since he took the Hokage job. Want to go get ramen and talk about it?" Instead of people defending Naruto's position and trying to get him to accept it, he wouldn't lash out.
But none of the Hidden Villages have psychiatric ninja, as is obvious with every single other character in the series.
>But none of the Hidden Villages have psychiatric ninja
Didn't Ino basically help Sai out with psychotic mind control genjutsu
Also, when Ino took control of Sakura during the exam arc, Sakura got tons of courage and beat her out, which is basically just therapy
That's basically the same thing
Orochimaru getting away with everything, having a kid and him being BFFs with Nardo and Sauce's kids has got to be the greatest thing Kishi has done.
Right? It's like they don't even try.
Oh, well fuck me, then.
Probably too busy with all the PTSD that comes from being child soldiers that had to fight all their deceased loved ones, ancestors and cultural heroes during that last war, then being thrown into a miniature paradise only to be wrenched away without any warning.
Ill be right back Jolyne just of to save the dolphins.
Makes sense. Remember what Toriyama did with Pan and the whole super saiyan thing? Female characters don't really belong in shounen manga. 8 year old boys don't like them yet.
She didnt get mad because Sarada asked where Sasuke was, she got mad because Sarada insulted her's and Sasuke's relationship.
Sarada said "Are you even his wife? You're guys relationship is strange!" or something like that. Sarada was being disrespectful to her mom by the way she spoke to her so Sakura got mad.
>doing anything useful in the nardoverse
Also ninja demigods are usually pretty at not messing up like that so she probably wouldn't have been on very high alert.
tfw want to spend time w your daughter but the new stand user [ONGA BONGA] is raping people in africa and no one is capable enough to fight him so you have to go to africa
>Didn't even realize it was a shadow clone?
Probably did but didn't say anything so Boruto wouldn't chimp out
>Couldn't save the cake?
She is still a chunnin, that means either she is a worse ninja than the fodder that got rekt by the sound 4 or that she hasn't done any ninja stuff since she got off the moon.
>Remember what Toriyama did with Pan and the whole super saiyan thing
Yes, he turned her into a martial artist loli and the rest was in the open. GT shit never counted.
What you say about female characters in shounen is almost always true.
But the whole issue with the female super saiyan was simply because at the time he had no idea how to draw one and mantaining a balance between looking menacing and looking cute.
Which is still ridiculous if we take in account what fans (but the ones with good drawing skills), not to mention official merchandise like Dragon Ball Heroes have been doing with relative ease.
In any case, if we get more objective, both Pan and Bra were literally introduced in the epilogue. There's no much he could have done with them at that moment and he was clearly not interested to be invested in GT enough to have them reach that level, especially since he wanted a break from the franchise.
I still want a SSJ Pan, though.
Well, in the pilot, Naruto was liteally a fox, as in a fox that could turn into a kid, so a Dog Hokage wasn't too farfeched.
Hmmm, now looking back, the pilot was pretty good compared to the shitfest it ended up being.
>Coupled with her not being raised by him from birth, it's not surprising what happened.
I don't fucking know what happens in your trailer park or jungle compound, but for the rest of the world it's totally surprising.
You've got a point.
Sarada should have chosen her words more carefully, but damn if Sakura didn't overreact.
We are talking about a little girl asking for her father who has absent for a whole decade and probably was too tired to keep asking and getting no straight answers for her mother.
I still say that Nardo ended up looking a better father for Sarada though.
>Sarada was being disrespectful to her mom by the way she spoke to her so Sakura got mad
That's how kids are. I'm surprised Salad even lived this long without Sakura pasting her insides all over the house because she said a naughty word.
>I still say that Nardo ended up looking a better father for Sarada though
The bar was set really low.
>Sarada said "Are you even his wife? You're guys relationship is strange!"
And it wasn't strange? I can't really blame the kid. Though she could have been more subtle, indeed.
>cute father/daughter relationship
>It's an ideal that doesn't last.
>She got older and hit puberty.
It sounds like you haven't realized you're a gigantic fucking pervert. What seems like normal sexual development to you, is actually incredibly deviant.
Dude, it was still fucked up.
The author only needed to make some tweeks here and there to make it more (probably) "passable" to the general public and still satisfy her fetish at the same time.
Is like Woody Allen all over.
True, but hey, it works for her.
He prevented her to go full edge and even gave her a goal. Remember that at the beginning she wasn't even sure why she was becoming a ninja.
Ironically, Nardo wasn't doing so good with his own children. Yeah, not as awful as Sasuke, but is still poetry.
If I had the chance to change things from the Gaiden, Sarada looking up to Naruto would be one of the things I would leave as it is.
It worked out in the end, didn't it? Though I don't see why they don't just all move into one big house
Honestly, I think if someone asks Kishi directly about this, he wouldn't outright say their relationship isn't dysfuncional, but he writes it and draws it and shows it like that.
I know he's not a good writer, but a little part of me refuses to believe that this man isn't doing it on purpose.
I mean, almost everything about Sasuke x Sakura screams "wrong". At least to me. A
>Though I don't see why they don't just all move into one big house without Sakura.
Because Sasuke would have to work his chemistry with Hinata if they are going to share Naruto.
Then, it would have been an OT3.
>Sarada should have chosen her words more carefully, but damn if Sakura didn't overreact.
I completely agree. Sakura overreacted and Sarada should phrased herself differently.
>That's how kids are
Well, it depends on how you raise them I think..
>More like touched a nerve. If there wasn't some truth to it, it wouldn't have been a big deal.
I think it was how Sarada said it that upset Sakura rather than what was being said...
I do think Sakura overreacted though.
What can I say? I was one of the ones that kept saying he wasn't that bad considering their circumstances.
It's amazing how Gohan came out as well-adjusted as he is.
We had Goku supporting him in his decisions back then, only to have him talking shit about him behind his back in the Super manga.
>We had Goku supporting him in his decisions back then, only to have him talking shit about him behind his back in the Super manga.
No wonder he went and took Uub as his apprentice.
But seriously, fuck Goku. It is NOW that he complains about Gohan becoming full bookworm?
>Shit tier house
Nigga they're rich as shit
Why is Naruto such a gold mine for PS editing compared to OP and Bleach?
>Hopefully they treat nardos son with more dignity.
I'm afraid they will go to the other extreme with Bort.
Hell, he's already considered a prodigy and already getting cool techniques.
At least with Gohan we could see a decent built up in which a lot of bad guys beat the shit out of him.
The only thing I can give some slight credit to Boruto, is that he went and called out on his father's shit about not being there for him and his sister.
Gohan has always been more adventurous than his father and more curious. But he was also quite passive, only snapping out when he gets really pissed.
And yeah, I like Gohan, I like he's more of a pacifist and fights to protect, but sometimes he can be too much of a doormat, especially when it comes to his own parents.
Hell, if it wasn't for Videl stopping her, Chi Chi would have basically gotten her way in how he should be raising his own daughter.
Which also reminds me, Goku is also a shitty grandfather.
