Happy New Year everyone.
What does everyone hope to see this year in One Piece?
Here's the one he did last year.
Oda is such a cool guy.
The Reverie, gotta see Vivi-chwan in action again
Caesar is only reasonable choice for nakama.
As a poor child from a future island Kaido forced him into his life of evil science. He was forced into doing the experiments and making weapons against his will.
Just wait until Caesar rescue arc like we got for Robin and you'll see.
Caesar for nakama 2016

Is Oda trying to tell us Sanji is a Monkey D.?
>what happened to kaidou vs the wizards of oz

this manga will never end
I WANT MY REVOLUTIONARY ARC
I WANT MY DRAGON FLASHBACK
I WANT ANYTHING DRAGON
IS MY NIGGA
Goddamn I fucking hope so. I need to see him shit all over ANYTHING.
What is Lucci's purpose in life exactly ? I don't understand what this guy is even doing, the marines almost killed him along with Luffy at enies lobby and now he's back to working for the government. What does he want ?
The one cover story even shows him on the run from the World Government. My secret hope is that CP0 is actually an organization above the World Government, and only allies with them while convenient (which has basically been almost forever) but will change sides if the Government becomes completely salvageable. A true lawful neutral force, if you will.
>its my own fault for forgetting theories are never acceptable on /a/ because of fags like you
>Chapter 812 is fucking retarded because we have no proof that it will ever happen because it hasn't yet
I respect your point but
>twinge of evil
Its like the Luffy/Kidd thing. They're both pirates, they both fuck shit up. But Kid is a terror that enjoys harming innocents. Luffy just wants to have fun and fight people he considers enemies. Caesar is more like Kidd.
Believe me, I do want someone with more moral ambiguity to join, I just think Caesar is a little too dark.
Robin was an Assassin who almost killed Vivi. Franky almost killed Ussop. While we later discover that these characters are ok, their initial introduction, to both us as readers and the Strawhats as characters, did not indicate anything like that. I think Caesar is a perfect choice for Nakama. He's fun, has interesting interactions with the crew, is a Login bit not OP, has a bounty in line with the rest of the Strawhats, and is in need of some sort of protection.
Again man, i agree with all of your points. I just think that there's a difference between almost killing someone, and enjoying a potential genocide.
And yeah, Robin and Franky have killed many other people, but at least with Robin we know it was somewhat reluctant, as she did was she had to to survive.
Caesar's flat out enjoyment of their suffering though...eh. Don't get me wrong, if he is NN I won't be disappointed, I'm just not sure if he's got enough good in him
I recognize Pica as a challenging fight, but it's not really what I was looking for. I was thinking more along the lines of his Alabasta fight, or his CP9 fight, against a fellow swordsman that really pushed him to unveil new things or grow. I feel like Pica was more of a "Well nothing challenges Zoro, so here's an enemy he can't jsut one-shot", but not in a way that's tense or dramatic enough. Pica was more annoying than intense. I think Chopper or Franky would have been a better choice to fight him.
Ceaser and Monet are too entertaining to become part of the strawhats. To become Luffy's nakama, you have to be a boring character.
Zoro confirmed for not trying in any fight
Oh lord its Wojak.
hey just think of it like this
the straw hats are all different and uniqque, they're similar but not close to being the same
the strawhats are a salad, with luffy the bowl. caesar is the sauce that makes it (the salad) exceed expectatons
For some reason I've always wanted to have it be Jesus vs. Nami. I think it would work since dressrosa made jesus look like weak shit. And the bb navigator Laffitte can fight Sanji,
Good now get ready for the anime quality to decline drastically and prepare your anus to transition into the manga
Because if's a shonen you fuck wit can't go convincing 13 yr old japanese boys to rape now can we? Although it would stop the vegetarian epidemic of japanese males being asexual.
Autists will say
Others will say
No one can deny
Dressrosaarc as it's half a manga chapter per episode, where as before the 400 to 500 episode mark three chapters would be used per episode.
Does Dragon have a dragon zoan? These kinda seem liek dragon wings and he is able to fly.
Yeah, the pacing was already shit then but it was not that bad because the animation was good most of the time, same goes for the direction. It starts to get bad during Imple Down and at Marineford it gets totally shit.
>Buggy defeats all admirals full scene
What the hell is going on with Sanji. I'm dying to know what the fuck is up with him. Is he with Big Mam now? Hmm..
I think what really makes a Strawhat seem more viable is how visually they would fit into the whole hodgepodge family aspect of a crew. The robotic shipwright, the skeleton musician, the super French chef, Usopp's tinkerer/Pinocchio prankster vibe.
I just imagine Monet in the crow's nest, reading books, looking at the stars through a telescope, maybe making it snow from up high while the others play down on the deck building snowmen and having snowball fights. She just really feels like she'd have fit the whole silly dream aesthetic of it.
Actually, about Pell, and that Jackal dude I can't remember the name of and don't feel arsed to look up, and Igaram?
They all had moments where everyone thought they were dead, and then just weren't. And they all fit those totems of protector animals of Alabasta.
I kind of wonder if they're physically connected to something Ancient Weapon-y in the kingdom, and the reason they can't die is because the connection they have won't let them die from things like this.
>>i give a theory
>people like this post on the same vietnamese cartography boards as you
Pure delusion. Monet is dead, Caesar is a villain who can't be be redeemed by being a strawhat, even if he becomes more of a good guy.
In general, people claim that any new character who isn't a marine and meets the crew in person can be a possible nakama.
Is Fujitora admiral level?I personally don't think he's close enough to the pre-TS admirals to be considered as such tbqh, e couldn't even stop the birdcage with the help of the strawhats and gladiators.
only problem i see is that he really didn't help to stop doffy
and really never showed off his powers other then the basic lift/throw/pull
i think he will not be as strong as Akainu/Kizaru but he will show off with what ever happens next in new marineford
He's an eastern dragon zoan
Eastern dragons can control the weather in mythology. Dragon can control the weather (rain, lighting, wind, whatever)
He's a mythical eastern dragon zoan hence why he can fly and control the weather.
I wouldn't mind having a total bastard crewmate for them to bounce off.
But I wouldn't want him to have a tragic backstory, instead he should have a redemption arc which ends with him dying for the SH
Why is Zoro such a best bro? Nigga even cares about Sanji, acknowledges his strength and capability, even after just hearing what an errand boy of a Yonko could do, isn't worried about Sanji's well being against Pekoms.
I highly doubt Kaido's errand boy being devastating means all Yonko crew members with similar positions are devastating. Burgess and Ace were both verified pussies, Shanks is his own errand boy, and I'm gonna go ahead and predict that Bobbin, Pekoms, and Tamago won't be as strong as Jack either.
But to digress, at this point Zoro hasn't heard anything about Pekoms, so his reaction definitely isn't in regard to Sanji fighting against him.
If Monet doesn't join the crew then what's the point in reading One Piece ?
>buggy defeats all admirals
I'm not saying they aren't capable in their own way, but compared to the bar set by the other characters in the story, they've all shown a largely varying range of destructive ability. There are people from as far back as Baroque Works with devastating skill when the only test is destroying geographical areas or killing common citizens.
The point being, just being a Yonko's errand runner doesn't assume a universal bar of skill. Jack is as strong as Jack, not as strong as a Yonko's errand boy. It definitely doesn't put Pekoms in the same class, simply by virtue of the fact that we already saw that the strongest of the minks needed to tagteam Jack for 5 days straight, and still never got the better of them. It would be bullshit if Pekoms came along and was in Jack's class despite all we've seen for the last few chapters.
Oh, as the reader, I'm not putting them in a "tier", so to speak but as Zoro, they'd probably be on the same level. They think being a Shichibukai means you're strong as fuck but we all know the're a wide range between them.
I should also say that we know Jack is one of "3 Calamities".
That sounds like he's one of 3 top underlings of Kaidou.
Pekoms/Tamago work for Mam, but we have no indication as to their rank.
Don't we know that one of their bounty is 330m or something? Sure, bounty isn't representative of strength but I'm sure a top fighter of a Yonko would definitely have over 500m. Pekoms and Tamago seems like the representative of Big Mom, the people who do the talking. Then people like Bobbin are the muscle.
Pekoms is 330M.
Tamago we don't know.
Them as representatives makes some amount of sense.
I find it interesting they have such a huge ship and motherfucking Capone has tagged along with them though.
Please Oda let Capone do something cool.
I have high hopes for him but he's being painted as a future SH enemy.
If he's a future enemy then all hope is lost. I can't see him in a proper fight against anyone. If Capone says back, provides story and becomes broker, I'd be content. Fighting wise, I have extremely low expectations.
His ability. He seems like a guy who'd let others take care of his work. Just open up those doors and fire cannons or send horses or whatever the fuck. He's the Castle and the Castle itself doesn't do anything, it's the people inside that does shit. And unless those people are Cavendish level, they aren't going to do jack. Against the Strawhats, that is. He just seems boring to me, fighting wise. And I can't picture Oda giving him some meaningful fight against some nobody.
I was thinking maybe his power had evolved over the TS, similar to all the other fruit users who have trained themselves leaving Capone with much greater autonomy and bigger weapons.
I see your point.
It'd be cool if he could shoot bullets from his fingers or "conjure" up a sword out seemingly nowhere but again, he just soesn't seem like that type. Capone seems like he was Made to be a jokee. An underground mafia boss. He sends out his people to do the deed and rake in the cash.
That being said, Oda very well could make him some insane powerhouse with crazy abilities that we don't know off. But, you know, I won't hold my breath.
I meant Broker, ended up typing Joker, ended up fucking up the fuck up.
Gonna be a long year, folks.
Yeah I was thinking the Broker angle too.
My money was on Capone filling the power vacuum left by Doflamingo.
Just one panel of him during the aftermath of Dressrosa saying something like "Now Doffy has been taken out I can expand my territory to include his" or some shit.
I'm not a real fan of this move to work under Mam by him.
X Drake under Kaidou seems interesting by contrast though.
They're both probably trying to gain something from the alliance. Not just protection. Maybe Capone wanst to know everything about BM's territory or wants to meet other Brokers easily or whatever amd joining a Yonko is possibily the easiest way.
Drake's seems weirder since he joined the Marines but left, he knew about the Pacafistas even as a rear Admiral(I don't know if that's a big deal or not), joined Kaido despite not being particularly violent even with the Dino fruit. I really want to learn more about Drake.
Wouldn't Capone's power give him awesome defense? Someone attacks him, and the attack shrinks, meaning it either doesn't reach him or drastically looses power because of the size reduction.
You'll never get that. Even the girl kids at Punk Hazard and Dressrosa didn't care about Franky's shenanigans. We might get a fun, loud, playful, chirpy female but the Emperor will always be a man's dream.
Does Kaidou have a beef with them?
I mean, he crashed through their roof after all.
Shouldn't he just say sorry and swim away or whatever?
I can see him thinking that there was no way those worms could even scratch him so he let's them go so that they can grow into something that could actually do something against him or something along those lines.
He could even formally invite them to his world ending war.
I've been thinking about the end game with Caesar and it seems like the best use for him in the story is as a hostage exchange unit. Law actually had no plan with what to do with Caesar after Dressrosa since he was planning to die at Dressrosa to take out Doffy. Therefore, I think it's plausible to believe that Caesar is a loose end with no purpose in the story at the moment other than a macguffin for the antagonists. The Straw Hats have no purpose for him but Big Mom/The Government/Kaidou/The Marines all want their hands on him. Now, I think that after seeing what Caesar can do in terms of destruction, since the Straw Hats are pretty responsible, they wouldn't want to hand him over to a rival pirate, risking him creating more gas weapons.
Honestly though, that's an issue for whoever you hand him to. Where does Caesar even go from here? I don't want to jump on the retarded "Caesar for Nakama" train but, I can't deny his great interactions with the crew and his usefulness for them in the story (hot air balloon/science with Chopper, etc.). He's also at a good power level to fit into the crew, nestled right below the monster Trio and above everyone else. My original idea was that somehow Sanji gets captured by someone and they would exchange Caesar to get him back but Caesar is such a liability in the hands of someone who would want to use his abilities for political gain, which is everyone in the story EXCEPT the Straw Hats. They might end up holding on to him as a cabin boy/prisoner to keep him in check, although that puts a big target on their backs so I think they will probably end up offloading him to Smoker or a Marine they can trust.
> his usefulness for them in the story (hot air balloon/science with Chopper, etc.).
Don't forget the tag teams:
>Sorcery Clima-Tact + Atmosphere manipulation
>Gear 4 + Pneumatic power
Both Nami and Robin were part of a enemy crew of pirates, both by necessity and personal interest.
Nami to protect her villiage and Robin to survive.
Monet is confirmed to have been a tenryubito slave, most likely she was with doffy for protection.
>Monet is confirmed to have been a tenryubito slave
I demand a sauce on this. IIRC Oda stated in an SBS that Monet and Sugar were from some sort of Slum or smth, more like the Grey Terminal, and not Slaves
Enel's potential 500 million bounty if he were on the blue sea doesn't seem all that impressive anymore now that we know that bounties go at least into 10 figure territory.
Robin saved Luffy's life and in the end lied to Croc about Pluton, inadvertently saving the country and maybe the world
Franky was a small time thug shown to have a big heart from almost his first scene, and it very quickly became apparent that he wasn't a bad person
Caesar is a maniac who makes genocide weapons as a hobby, posions children, kills his subordinates without a care, and takes pride in his weapons causing suffering. He has no redeeming qualities outside of his humorous interactions with the SHs. He's a piece of shit who has no place with the SHs as a nakama, just a gag and plot device
>although that puts a big target on their backs
The Strawhats are already full of time bombs for the government, another target would make no difference, Luffy already pissed off Big Mom, took out 3 Shichibukai, is on good terms with 2 of them and wrecked all 3 of the WG's facilities in Paradise, Franky has Vegapunk tech on him and Robin is about to read all the poneglyphs and discover some ultimate truth.
>One of the weakest supernovas along with Urouge
That's like saying one of the weakest Yonkou.
He ranks among the best.
Who the "best" supernova is is entirely speculation anyway.
Luffy needs a moment like this.
Where he jobs a little to a rookie or some shit and then reestablish the distance in power between The New World and Old World.
Firstly it would be fun to see it from the other side, and second it would help reaffirm his beating Crocodile seeing how anybody can job on a bad day or some such.
Both are logia, something we haven't had on the crew, and are no longer the overpowered obstacles they used to be but now interesting combatants.
Both are going to necessitate action on Chopper's part for continued interaction with the crew, which could help us get the damn Fifth arc going for him already.
Both have roles that could benefit the crew in upcoming events, or at least are hinted at those roles.
Both have unexplained history that could come into play later, (Monet's unique history with Dofla and by extension Kaidou, Caesar's differences with Vegapunk and his dealings with Kaidou)
Both are uniquely different from other crew mates as being consistently antagonistic. Not simply in a matter of not being friends to start, but playing the role of enemies or with enemies for many arcs.
Basically both Caesar and Monet were characters that had a unique ability, deeper hinted motivations and issues, and both had a lot of theory-sparking potential that people latched onto. People that go 'oh because Caesar's an edgelord' or 'oh because Monet's got big tits' are just baiting.
Currently, Caesar's still around, so he's got more visible staying power, but all of Monet's inconsistencies are still present, and the Donquioxte Pirate Cover Story, like other cover stories, is bound to involve some element that returns in the future. (Impel Down, Enel's moon pirates, Wapol Steel, etc.) So right now, I won't count out either of them as potentials. At least not well until this saga with the big powers is over.
Barto could have been a good candidate for that back when he was first introduced but that time is long gone. It'd be hard for it to happen now because we're in the New World. If the series ever goes back to the Grand Line or the Four Blues, I'd be down for this.
>"Do you guys think he's admiral level?"
What's the worst piece of fanart you've stumbled upon?
I'm the buttslave of Oda's editor and I wanted to inform everyone ahead of time that Wapol is confirmed for next Nakama. Jimbei won't appear let alone actually join for another hundred chapters at least.
Actually now that I think about it his fruit is like a scrub BB fruit with the way he absorbs shit. It'd be GAR if he came back as an ally and had his moment of revenge against BB.
Well, this one's definitely not as bad. But I really don't understand the whole Fat Nami meme going on at tumblr.
Sincerely doubt it. You want to "fit in" with underage morons? Pathetic, transparent, and pointless.
So are Merry and Ceasar Clown the same race? With the horns? Is it possibly an ancient race because of the sheep guys on Sky Island?
I'm expecting a match up with her an Alvida. Her power levels way higher but Alvida has resistances to all her shit. I don't know why she's traveling with Buggy if he's planning on killing him when she just wants his penis.
Sanji, but that will take at least another year
Saying right now Sanji is the son of a World Noble and a slave woman who was forced to cook for Sanji's father. Being in her position as the cook Sanji's mother believed in the stories about the All Blue and wished she could find it one day but knew it was impossible in her position. His mother was beat so badly by the Noble one day or some other horrible act the Nobles seem so apt to do that she dies and Sanji gets angry and vowed to never hurt a woman after seeing his mother suffer, he also vowed to find the All Blue in her name, and he then ran away in an angry fit and boarded the ship that would one day be attacked by Zeff. It would go along with the theme of inherited will One Piece likes to use.
Basically Oda needs to explain his shit because I hate making theories up to quench my thirst.
why does everyone want it t be about his past? ir could be something more obscure, like maybe they want him to join Cipher Pol because he adapted Geppou and is good at infiltration.
Sounds a lot more feasible than the usual crackpot "theories" that are posted.
If he was related to a world noble I'd expect Oda to have foreshadowed it during Sabaody or Fishman Island, even with Doffy. At least a little nod, something which we couldn't speculate on, but that made it all make sense as a whole.
Yeah, but I mean some sort of reaction from him, an opinion concerning Nobles, any sort of link so that in the case that it's the reveal we can go back and see that it was there all along. Otherwise it feels like an asspull.
It could just be something like he wanted to protect his crew so it wasn't mentioned or some other cop-out. Technically he doesn't need to be a noble just someone important like the son of a king (hence Mr. Prince).
I dont really remember how he reacted to the whole auction but I do remember Sanji was the one who reacted to the slave pricing list, he might have have made some other comment but at least there is that.
Something I found weird is that the Celestial Dragons seem to sometimes release slaves from what those people said when they were torturing Doffy, so if Sanji was a slave I cant really see him being able to escape but her mother being released because she was in a state that she was no longer useful sounds more likely.
Even if he was a noble I doubt he knows himself, this could be a nod but it's not enough to base a theory on.
His origins are just as mysterious as Zoro's, Nami's, Franky's or Brook's.
>strange blood type
So now the Okamas are nobles too?
Believe me, I know this shit better than you. No need to be a speedreader to disagree with you.
Sanji himself could have intentionally wanted to hide that aspect of his past for personal reasons. There are innumerable circumstances that could lead to the current situation he is in and just because Oda didn't blatantly foreshadow it like others doesn't mean it's an asspull. You do not know what an asspull is and your misuse of the term will only lead to others doing the same.
>I know this shit better than you
Please kill yourself for the sake of your family and everyone who views these threads.
>it is an asspull if it wasn't foreshadowed in any way
>Believe me, I know this shit better than you
You're the cunt from the last day who got assblasted about fodder, aren't you?
If he was his dad why was Sanji a slave in the first place? If he was just a nice guy I doubt he wouldn't have issued a search for him when he left. It wasn't until he was revealed (or rather was recognizable) as a member of the Strawhats that his bounty was changed to wanted alive. If I wanted to extend this a bit I would say he's wanted it back so he can't soil the name of whoever owned him since he's a member as the Strawhat Pirates for long. If he was a nice guy I doubt he would be worried about Sanji from his bounty picture since he looks anything but unhappy. But I still don't really believe the slave theory. It doesn't really explain his refusal to hit women, which is a big quirk to not explain. And it's not just "well he's a pervert" when other Strawhats are perverts but they don't commit to never hitting a woman.
>Believe me, I know this shit better than you.
>Nami, been explained
>Franky, not really mysterious
>Brook, again, pretty much explained
The idea is he's the only StrawHat that seriously has never had any backstory, him and Zoro.
Luffy we have his Shanks history, Ace/Sabo, and we know more is coming
Nami had her story arc with Arlong Park
Ussop had his development in Syrup Village, again in Water 7, and with Yassop there might be more
Chopper had a pretty simple history given
Robin already had her mystery reveal
Franky is pretty much the same, though we're gonna get more with Vegapunk
And Brook has Laboon and massive age explained in Thriller Bark.
With Zoro and Sanji we know very little, only that Zoro has a history with dead Kuina, and Sanji is an orphan.
Holy shit man I bet is is
>Born in a shitty place
>raised since a bby by Bellemere
>From west blue
>abandoned cause fuck responsibility
Zoro and Brook are the only ones left after Sanji.
He could have wanted to hide it, yes. I doubt he would have, but that still doesn't mean that the fucking nickname he chose is evidence enough. If he wanted to hide it why did he choose that as his name? Wasn't he hiding it?
An asspull is suddenly revealing something big without any mention of it or anything suggesting it before, so no sort of foreshadowing or clues that would lead you to think that. It definitely would be an asspull as of the information we have now.
Actually I haven't been here in a while.
Nami had a life before Bellmere which we know nothing about, just as Sanji had one before working as a cook. Franky was left by a pirate which we also don't know anything about, and we don't know anything about Brook before being a pirate. We don't need to know more about them, just as we don't necessarily need to know more about Sanji's past.
How about the "The one who will eventually become the biggest problem for the WG is me" line from the Kuma incident?
There are also the Prince of Dumbass Kingdom and other prince fantasies that Sanji has, jokes sure but it wouldnt be the first time Oda turns a simple joke into a major plot point.
There's a difference between being nice and being a retard like Homing. Sanji was probably treaten nicely by his dad since he was fine with wasting good food on that ship.
And I figured the not hittinf women thing was because he saw women get tortured or raped or whatever. Mybe his own mom. Oda said that it's not that Sanji doesn't want to hit them, it's that he physically can't. Something along those lines. It sounds like trauma.
Nah, I can see Brook having a really interesting past. He was around before Roger, used to lead an army or something. He probably knows a lot of shit and probably saw some sick shit so he decided to set sail. Might even be related to Aokiji.
Got any mindblowing theories about how Brook's past you would care to share? I'm not saying it's bad I'm just saying Brook was with the Rumbar Pirates before even Rodger blew up and there is no reason to believe there was about special about him before he joined the Rumbar Pirates. But it's cool that you like shutting down discussions and are part of the reason these threads can get so shit.
The difference is all of those characters have important histories that exist besides there previous life. Nami's important history is Bellemere and Arlong, Franky's is with Tom, and Brook's is Laboon.
The only important history Sanji has is with Zeff, and that was more circumstantial than any real "journey". Nami had a journey to defeat Arlong, Franky had a journey in regards to his deep guilt with Tom, and Brook is on his journey to find Laboon. Sanji had a similar guilt with Zeff, but it was very short, while the others took a fair amount of time for exposition.
So yeah, Sanji doesn't HAVE to have any more history, but with all the facts lined up, plus Oda saying it was his year, its not unreasonable to assume we're gonna get a reveal
Do you really think that Mr Prince is foreshadowing? If you really think that it's foreshadowing, and that it's the only thing we need to be sure that Sanji is a noble and that it isn't an asspull, then there's no point in discussing this with you. Oda's cock is farther down your throat than mine.
>on a random ship with random chefs that obviously has no real connection with Sanji
>wastes food despite all the other chefs' behavior
>from North Blue yet never mentioned it to crewmates
They always talk off screen so don't even start
>changes subject when crewmates show interest
>physically unable to hit women due to some reason
>The one who will eventually cause the most trouble for the WG
>rare blood type
I'm not saying Sanji is definitely the son of a World Noble but he's most definitely going to be hot shit. And there's plenty of shit to back it up whether or not you like it.
>Gets absolutely wrecked by one of the strongest shikibukai, the only one who really actually does his job, in the first week of the grand line
BACK TO THE GRAND LINE, IMMA BE PIRATE KING
>Shichibukai follows you, and fucks your shit up again, no real reason, just for the lols
BACK TO THE GRAND LINE, IMMA BE PIRATE KING
>Gets beat by the future pirate king
YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO KILL ME, I AM NEVER GOING TO GIVE UP
>gets knocked out by own crew to save life, as they know you would rather die then give up
Why have we not seen a return of pic related? Given that he was willing to spend anyting for an edge in battle he would almost certainly have a devil fruit by now. Not to mention he most likely had all of CC's best gas weapons.
Hell, if he was willing to ever actually work under anyone, he could be one of the three calamities with his resolve.
A guy like that will not be forgotten by oda, he never gave up like moria when beaten, he never got complacent and stopped trying like Doflamingo.
different anon here who just finished catching up on One Piece, picked it up several weeks ago
>The one who will eventually cause the most trouble for the WG
This is familiar but I forget when it was said
they look sort of similar as kids. They both have ice powers, are into women and are pretty tall.
Obviously it could just be a coincidence.
I am fucking desperate to see the return of Kuro and Krieg, along with Gin of course. But due to power creep of the New World, I think our only chance is if they somehow joined Buggy's crew, which is doubtful
Huh. Brook used to be the captain of a convoy or something right? And he quit or something happened to turn him into a pirate. What if Aokiji is in a sorry state because of of his dad's shenanigans? A little bit like Rebecca's case.
Was mihawk weak? Not at all
Was luffy weak? Fuck no, I would say luffy was pretty much equal in strength from start of journey until G2 in W7.
Krieg went up against the best of the best. He was also willing to train his ass off, as he mentioned, and had willpower of a main character. He just underestimated the grand line.
He would be willing to train. He would be willing to spend everything for edges in battle.
Hey, don't get me wrong, I hope he comes back. I'm just not really counting on it. But you are right about the training, I just think reaching top tier is out of his league, but you're right, if Oda wanted, he could be somewhat relevant again.
Back when I was a young'un I used to hope that Kuro, Krieg and Arlong would come back to form an alliance of some power in the New World. But the development necessary would be monumental.
>Arlong working with humans?
>Krieg sharing leadership?
>Kuro not being a lazy fuck?
>Luffy was pretty much equal in strength from start of journey until G2
Why do people say this? They all got stronger after each Island. Zoro explicitly states this. The Luffy who fought Captain Kuro did not have the same strength as the Luffy who fought Crocodile. Same with every other Strawhat. You don't see Luffy bulking up because it's a manga. Zoro was almost out for the count after a little stab when he met Buggy. The same dude found a jungle in a desert after getting torn to pieces by Mr.1.
"Pretty much equal", I take to mean "grew slightly in power after each island, but compared to the major power upgrades of Enies Lobby and the Timeskip, they're relatively not that big of a jump"
people say it because the only thing we have to see that he was not pretty much equal, was someone saying so.
That is just shonen tropes. He showed more strength fighting kuro then he did until G3 shenanigans.
Is there no new episode today? Is Toei really doing this now of all times?
Everyone remember to do your best to appreciate Penguin today!
Mermaid and drag aside, that is an absurdly lukewarm art style. It's based on a misunderstanding of proportions and mis matched anatomy. Ears are not that close to ones eyes under any circumstances. Christ.
Are you guys excited for Burning Blood? I've been waiting forever for a new One Piece fighting game and it looks pretty cool
>tfw Foxxy will never be in a video game ever
>tfw it'll be mostly flavor of the arc new characters and not old classics like Arlong or Don Krieg and probably not lesser villains like Kaku either
>tfw no dub ever even though I'm probably the only one who likes the Funi dub
Im pumped man, I love me a good fighting game, and this is just the fighting game One Piece needs. I would have loved to have preordered the Marineford Edition but I think it either sold out already, or isnt up yet.
>Less unnecessary comedy than one gag every 2 panels
>Less unnecessary slowass pacing
>Less unnecessary mass production of fanservice sluts
>A bit of logic on top of manliness would be nice for a change instead of just manliness to a point where it becomes idiotic
Do not worry guys, this game will probably have new installments in the future, with a ton of characters with them.
It's only a matter of time we see burning blood becoming as important as the Ninja Storm serie.
>What does everyone hope to see this year in One Piece?
-Zou being finished before 2017
-The Yonkou putting on a better show than the Donquixotes
-No more characters as shitty as the Riku Royal Family.
It's not Fujitora, it's just Doffy's birdcage was entirely stupid and overpowered, and you just explained why. Not to mention all that Doffy had to be was hardly conscious for this move to work.
Yeah I think they are. I don't even dislike J-stars from a configuration standpoint but it's DEFINITELY lacking in execution. I just don't want the first 3D one piece game in forever to be stiff, repetitive and not have a lot of replay ability.
I don't know if this is the whole list, but heres some of the characters from BB.
Don't worry guys? This old fag doesn't realize that next February will be the last set for season 7. Season 8 will contain the Marineford war, Luffy's flashback mini arc with Sabo (Spoilers still alive in Dressrosa!) and before we enter the timeskip. ;P Besides its only a couple more episodes (over a hundred until we reached the new world.) until we get there. lol
I'm pumped for the game, (platinum'd all the OP ps games, except PW1 because fuck the RNGesus) and I just got in my dub of Impel Down, really like Mag and Hannya's VAs, but not too keen on Jinbei.
Are you retarded? They're color spreads
Please end your life for the good of your family.
I've never been to reddit before in my life newfriend.
>Not to mention all that Doffy had to be was hardly conscious for this move to work.
Nothing unusual. Moria, Ivankov and Hancock don't even have to conscious like Sugar or even alive for their powers (gender bending/zombie shadow army/masses of people turned to stone) to remain in effect.
>>bb crew vs revolutionary army with dragon backstory
Koala got back to Baltigo 10 days after Doffy was defeated, at the same time Blackbeard's crew was in the New World. There's no way BB vs Revolutionaries will happen before another arc or two.
Th next chapter should probably explain exactly what Sanji is doing, unless Big Mom's men showing up has nothing to do with why he left and someone else is going to show up to escalate the situation even further.
Is there an official number for the Burning Blood roster? I've seen people saying that it's 50 with no source. Seems unlikely to have so many if the game advertises itself on having fleshed out movesets.
They got it from an interview with the creators of the game.
There is Franky House's translation somewhere I just can't seem to find it!!
I didn't know autists could make meta posts like yours.
Are people really this dumb? Or did you honestly forget about the BB crew vs Rev set up?
Sabo wasnt even on the ship that Burgess snuck on. Sabo went ahead with those crow things.
Sanji vs Pekoms or Tamago or Capone?
Pekoms would be cool since we know he's relatively strong and the minks are strong.
Tamago would be interesting cause just fucking look at him.
Capone would be great because it'd be nice to see Sanji kick a Supernova's shit in.
>because dem legs
All I can picture is pic related and I don't know if I should laugh or be disappointed.
And Sanji has been fighting Martial Artists forever now. Does Tamago strike anyone as such?
Agreed. No doubt the "jobber"fags will return if a hair falls off Sanji's head but fuck 'em. Sheepshead was a joke. We might even get a Sanji/Caesar tag team/combo fight. Sanji throws Caesar at Pekoms and lights him on fire or something.
My point was that he doesn't look dangerous, which makes him dangerous, because you don't know what to expect. All we know is that his bounty is fairly high and he's given fairly important stuff to do by Big Mom. He could be anything.
A gimmicky Paramecia would be best.
I think Big Mom's crew might be Pafamecia based. No basis whatsoever but it'd be cool.
Kaido, zoans. Teach, mix. Shanks, none. Big Mom, Logia or paramecia.
Logia might be a bit too difficult, unless she only had like 4 people that were worth anything.
Never said he was, but Vergo's point is still valid. Logias and haki don't mix as well as Paramecias and especially Zoans. I doubt a Yonko would put their trust in them.
Not the point. The Paramecia was the strongest fucking man in the World with a fruit that literally mkes Earthquakes. Dudd still got part of his face torn off and had a hole in his chest. He didn't survive because of hia fruit, he survived because he was Whitebeard.
What I'm talking about is how Haki is useless against a Logia who knows how to dodge and control their fruit. Look at Punk Hazard. 2 people did that. Just 2. And it's fucked permanently.
>why did the strongest man in the world, who had the title despite his age and condition, pummel an Admiral, which there are 3 off
>No mention of the damage the Admiral did to the Strongest man in the World
So how are the Logias the top tier again? Smoker is a scrub, Monet is a scrub, Caesar is a scrub, Caribou is a scrub, Crocodile is hardly worth mentioning.
Enel's ability is good and he'd be worth 500 million, but that doesn't impress in a place like the New World.
Ace was one of those overconfident Logias.
Aokiji, Kizaru and Akainu are the only Logias we've seen who count as being "top tier", and somehow I get the feeling they'd be top tier without their fruits.
Nigger, did you even fucking read what I wrote? I said a COMPETENT user who knows how to DODGE and has MASTERED their fruits.
Aokiji, Akainu and Kizaru are top tier even with thier fruits, which according to some people, should be a liability.
Obviously not all Logias are going to be as strong as the fucking Admirals. This is the same shit as power levels. Everything depends on the fucking user and their opponent. Not the goddamn fruit.
Nah, that guy is probably assuming that everyone has the potential to master their fruit but I doubt people like Monet and Caribou would. Logias, a lot of the time, has insane offensive abilities. If they just worked on their bodies, like Enel, they'd be godly.
New cover story! The great escape of the Kidd Alliance!
Shanks and Kaido exchange drinks while Kidd, Hawkins and Apoo lay in the corner, tied up.
I just got a Viz volume today. On top of "Zolo", I don't understand why they keep translating "1080 pound Cannon (Hou)" into "1080 pound phoenix"(Houo).
Especially when things like pic related are said, or when Luffy used his own "Cannon" as a combo move on top of Zoro's to blast Aqua Laguna away.
Robin's biological clock is ticking. When will she find a cumpump?
>eats sweets and drinks cocoa all the time
I want to eat out her candy flavoured pink butthole and her sweet nectar leaking pussy
>not wanting to rim the cute little butt of a petite, prissy goth loli princess
nigga, you gay?
