So is there an episode tomorrow?
Will people die finally next ep? I mean background soldiers of course.
In 15 hours yes. Episode will probably be about strategic bath uses and assembling their army. Might have civilians dying though.
I want to see how they are going to animate all the individual attacks in the anime. If they animate the twin's final attack from the game I will be pleased.
Honoka is a genetically modified clone of the real human Honoka who was his wife before the humans turned to jelly.
The horn looking things are horns. The twins are clone Honoka's kids so they are onis too. I guess the emperor made the Oni's specifically to be good at magic.
Anju is the modified clone of emperor and Honoka human's kid they had before humans jellied.
I guess since Anju is a clone of the real daughter of the real honoka and the twins are daughters of clone honoka.
We know nothing about who the twins father is. It was never said to be the emperor. They could be GMO clones too that the emperor made and put into Honoka clones womb.
haku. The fanart references the games ending where haku takes oshutorrou 's place after ukon's death which he then fooled everyone into believing that it was haku that was killed instead, of course this means that kuon blames oshutorrou for haku''s death.
It's not the Underwater Ray Ramano I know and love. Sure there were some SoL scenes in the first game but they dragged that shit on for far too long and I'm exited for the action that is hopefully coming.
Seriously. I really tried to like this show, but it really does not compare to the first season/game. I can't stand Haku's personality and it rankles how many important people give this guy special treatment for no reason.
Because this was done in front of their friends and a whole army/city.
Saying oshutoru was dead in front of everyone would have been too chaotic.
>And why wouldn't he tell friends the truth?
You kidding? The entire nation being able to hold together at this point, rests on him keeping up this lie no matter what. He has to become this guy, Haku has to be the one who died there, that's the only way he can protect everyone. Him telling Kuon that Haku is dead so she leaves, in order to be safe, should protect her in a sense. If it wasn't for the irony that he didn't know at this point, that Kuon is the enemy general, and telling her this will only put them all on a direct war path in a sense.
However he has to keep this act up no matter what, millions of lives are resting on the fact that this guy lived, and he's now going to reunite everyone. A lie is dead in the water the second you start telling people, even if you trust them. In order to fool your enemy, you must first fool your friends after all.
A no-name can't protect the country at this point, only that guy that died can do it, so Haku has to be that guy.
Are they gonna pull the dead guy is the final boss thing? That's too cliche. But he was looking for ways to defeat Iceman should he ever cross his path and even made the twins to seal him so it might be possible.
Him getting special treatment and why hakuro in the first game getting special treatment from people they ve never met before will be explained this season.
The hybrid animal people were created as workers for the humans, and thus it's genetically coded within the hybrids to reacted positively to human command and presence, of course the hybrids are still sentient and for many their logic will trump their instinct to obey humans but the effects of this genetic programming undeniable. And it doubles for hakuro since not only is he a human he is also a god that naturaly excludes charisma.
Unless the emperor was lying to haku then apparently he doesn't even know that the iceman is witsuameria or that it was him that's responsible for the jello curse. The twins say their purpose was to neutralize the generals who wield the masks incase they rebel.
As to jonoka According to her hand maiden who delivered a message to haku,
she went into hiding when she found the emperor dead since she knew someone would blame her for it. Of course it all be part of the plan.
>Unless the emperor was lying to haku then apparently he doesn't even know that the iceman is witsuameria
I hope he was not lying.
I would not like it to be the emperor as the villain. If he is alive, I hope he'll threaten the satellite out of desperation and Haku stops him.
I feel like it'd go to far and showcase that maybe the jelly curse was ok because the writers would make it seem like the humans actually are pieces of shit when it should be both ways in that Hakuoro did something massively shitty and japanese researchers should not have tried to get immortality over getting back to surface.
Mizushima and Mikado were in different research departments, so no. I would like to know what happened to Mizushima though I think that was left up to interpretation on purpose.
They were at Entirely different facilities.
The iceman facility was a total black site which got haku interested enough to try and hack it for a data grab and then giving it to his brother the emperor, who was shocked and excited for the implications this data might have on his own research of the human genome. and someone should check young emperor 's voice actor just in case.
Not that it seemed they knew who they were fucking with when they dissected his family.
Though it appears that tusukuru's inner circle is well aware of the fact that kuon is their
god empressjudging by the interactions of the uta 1 cast near the end of uta2
It's never mentioned in game what their ages are but I can tell you it's mentored that the average life span is about 200 years for the hybrids assuming no defects or disease. The hybrids are engineered to reach puberty at normal human speeds and once they are matured their aging slows down to maintain their physical prime. Originally engineered by humans so the hybrids can be productive worker drones for longer, but now it serves to make a 40yr old carrier and touka to look like they are still in their high 20s. Truly what have science done.
The only people who could have figured it out right away are all in on it or are forced away.
"Haku" death scenes happens 4 days after the final boss fight where the party have been on the run for 4 days having escaped the capital city with the princess and oshutorrou in tow.
The twins have been in a coma for 4 days since the boss fight as they had to use their life force to cast their spells for the climax because they had already exhausted their mana prior to the boss fight,
Kokopo similarly also collapsed at the end because she been pulling a cart at running speeds for 4 days since the boss fight.
Ougi stayed behind in the capital to aid in evacuating oshutorrou 's households thus he was not present for haku death. Unlike female evenkurugas, ougi is actually just as smart as haku and certainly very preceptive.
Nekone is the indirect cause of oshutorrou 's death and is actively helping haku adopting the oshutorrou identity.
Because he's just bait for trapfags and doesn't really do anything so far as I can see yet hes still not as attractive as the twins from the first game. Also not that many Utawarerumono 2 characters are getting that much porn in general.
I didn't dislike nekone until that scene, but then she ruined a good fight and a true brotherly was lost.
It all the sader that they just had to use kimi ga tame orchestral ver as the bgm for the
ukon dyingpart. Fucking manly tears man.
Well, the bait not works. It would be better if Aquaplus just didn't include 1-minute-screentime token characters at all, would save me time and they don't gain anything from +10 player/watcher.
This is the only reason I'm watching the show at this point, waiting for the plot to pick up.
I have read both and enjoyed both immensely. Only the first one is in english, the second one is in moon and only on the PS3/4/vita.
I think Kuon would have noticed if Haku "dying" didn't fuck her shit up. Considering how important he was in the end to her I am surprised she didn't realize she lover him sooner. Anyone else bothered by how Kuon was ready to go to war for Yamato and follow Oshutoru's faction to hell but the second Haku "dies" she drops everything? She didn't even pack up some shit, she just wandered off in the opposite direction into hostile territory. Another nonsequiter question: were those fagmaster's men she was butchering or were they Raikou's?
Those were fag lord's men, they called themselves the 'shadow' , they showed up much earlier in the story around the urussia arc acting under faglord's 's orders, also just look at the faglord's title among the 8 generals-he is the only one wiht the word 'shadow' in his title.
She could have been Oshtoru's waifu ;_;
Hopes and dreams to achieve big in upcoming war
Would fuck tenderly.
So they changed the part where Kyuru shouldn't have joined Oshtoru right?
smile and optimism: gone
How does she die?
> New op sounds pretty good
And new ed too.
It is official. My penis cannot be more erected.
>twins are immune to aging
>things of interest in the OP
Obvious Haku = Oshutoru Kuon desperate face as Haku slips away from her and they are separated Raikou with Vurai, both are victims? Fagmaster is not present Nekone reaching for something not there

I'm about to buy the game on PS3 via the store.
I can read Japanese decently but SRPGs aren't my forte.
Is the game hard? Is the game system hard to understand?
Are there important elements that are missable or that you'd need a guide to know how to grab?
Are there routes or is the game linear?
Who cares about these guys. We all know the bulk of the fighting power was always the Carrier and Psycho-doll girl. As long as I get to see Karura and Touka wreck something, I'll be happy. And still no sign of Eruruu.
Game is linear and not too hard to understand or complete on normal. The gameplay is more there to reinforce story telling rather than being the focus if that makes any sense, so you shouldn't have much trouble on game aspect of things.
Dekoponpo is so wise.
The other generals cant comprehend his wise words.
No, it kind of ended in a Benawi win because they fought before Karura got her dragon slayer, so when she fought benawi all her weapons broke and just couldnt keep fighting like that.
Would lick her tears.
Why are the OP and ED visuals so lazy this season?
I want to see her with her hair down.
If Kuon doesnt win the Hakubowl, I do hope she wins it in 3.
I wonder if you're going to control Haku much at all in 3.
Because he doesnt have the sword skills, he could get found out and he'll have to hide behind human genetic charisma and strategy boost.
She got cold feet when it mattered the most. You can't blame her for not being able to put her foot down on the subject when it mattered the most. She could have walked away from the whole conflict. Either way, she no longer has a leg (or two) to stand on.
>dramatic drinking scene
What the fuck was that? 2 minutes wasted for nothing, they could have added some bathing instead.
Because men are stronger and women make terrible front line soldiers because they are weaker.
Atui and Lulutie are just basically statements saying that those guys are with the cause.
Though Atui's dad has nothing to worry about because Atui is stronk as fuck.
>Because men are stronger and women make terrible front line soldiers because they are weaker.
you didn't watch the last series did you
She's from a race that's inherently superior to most other races in pure strength, of which there are only two left of that race. Its her race's innate abilities that makes her superior more than anything else, just like with the Everuga.
If there was a guy though that could be comparable in power to her innate abilities, she could easily lose. Since almost everything she has is just power.
As we saw in the first game when she tried to attack Genjimaru and lost instantly, and was instantly brought back down to being a weak child who couldn't avenge her father just like when she was a kid.
She thought she had grown so much, that she could finally take revenge, but her father's murderer was still that far ahead of her even now.
that came first actually.
It was fucking metal.
>It was a draw because she didn't have her massive sword yet, and her using normal swords from the Tuskuru soldiers just ended in the weapons breaking.
That's not really a draw though
>the only reason I didn't butcher you was because none of these weapons can withstand my might
Only really shows how stronger she is
fuck yes you are the best Nanto Seiken general
How big is this Godzilla?
Screenshots from the game made it seem like they were baby sized compared to Witsuarunemitea, but this looks pretty fucking huge.
I just finished re-watching the first season. It still stands as one of my favourite anime and one of the best adaptations I've seen in anime. While not as good as the first, this season's still pretty damn good.
Perhaps, I mean in canon those 3 have raped/rekt gundams and an unwilling Godzilla. So guess we find out next game. Though personally I put masked generals above the ave kamu since they are mini Godzilla themselves.
I think they're the same size as Hakuoro's.
I dont know what makes you think they're small. I guess they had to scale down the sprites but Haku/Nekone's size compared to them is comparable to Eruru's size compared to Hakuoro.
I imagine Oshutoru is Benawi tier with more power, thus making him better.
Vurai's statements seem to indicate that Oshutoru uses his head during fights, which vurai calls dirty because he's gar as fuck.
Mini Godzilla , game image for reference
Oshoutoru is not that big.
I dont know. Because the game sprites in the battle segments and the vurai vs oshutoru animated cutscenes make them look A LOT bigger than that.
I'm going to chalk that up to perspective.
It's just that, in the first game, they only showed half of Witshisname and it was still pretty damn huge.
I do wonder if the masks determine the Godzilla form or the user determines it.
I'd like it for example that say Vurai would get the same black hammerhead no matter what mask he uses. The only difference is the secondary power would change with the mask (barriers/fire/lighting).
I hope Haku gets a different designed one. And I wonder if him being human is going to do something different to him than an experiment human.
And a screenshot from Itsuwari.
While the fighting stage Sprite are not to scale, I m petty sure the event CGs are.
Haku and and nekone is no more than half a dozen feet behind him, no matter how you put that he can't be more than a couple meters tall, definitely not hakuoro 's gundam size. This makes them look more wh40k dreadnaugt size .
I wonder if that will change.
The third game is going to be called "Two Hakuoro".
This either refers to Haku and Kuon, or Haku and Hakuoro.
I would have to imagine that Haku's godzilla is going to equal the size of Hakuoro if they're going to Godzilla battle.
Maybe Haku gets a bigger one cause human genes.
so haku will have godzilla powa becouse of the oshutoru's mask? and a deathray too?
I mean, looking at the OP art for the second cour, I can see vurai being the size of >>135589422 when compared to ururuu and sarana right in front of him. And chalk up the size difference in just different programming and design between games.
I do hope we get a side by side in the last game though to confirm.
Hakuoro didnt really have special powers in his form though. He could grant wishes but he could spew fire or shoot light beams.
Unless it just wasnt revealed.
Yeah, for certain reasons he can only really appear after Haku and Kuon's plots have played out and they've settled things. Otherwise all of the story threads and drama are kind of fucked, and won't play out as well.
If the ending of 3 is bittersweet, I hope the bitter part comes from the jelly curse being removed and they die from atmosphere+their minds have become blank nothings unable to function from being jellied for over a 1000 years.
He did in the game when you fought him as the final boss, didn't he? I remember a breath attach and a claw attack, and I think there might have been a beam attack too? He was actually going kind of easy on them as well.
There's at least three statements you made there that are entirely guess work or shit that just exists in your mind.
Trying to base True Whismactea's size at the end of the game as being the norm is stupid. Since Hakuro's normal Godzilla form was like a third that size as well.
Hakuro didn't even sleep with blind girl when he was true Whismmaterueria, he was only half of a Godzilla at the time. His daughter doesn't have a full Godzilla form yet, she doesn't have anything even similar, and even if she did have a form it wouldn't be fully super Whismatehra form like final Hakuro, since she only has the genes of half a gozilla, and she didn't inheirate all of his powers. She inheirated some of his power, but not much so far. She's not full god mode or anything similar. The daughter of a god and human is just a demi-god, she's nowhere near as strong as Hakuro. However even considering that, Whismatereha still lost to a hand-picked group of normal people in the end.
Hakuro even if he was around might even have trouble giving his absolute command to some of the people on Yamato's side; since
Haku is neither human or animal anymore rather he's something entirely different which is why the curse couldn't effect him, and some of the others are using part of his power which may or may not effect something.
The sides are about even in terms of abilities
You're assuming that she even has a tangible Godzilla form.
She isn't the original either. It'd be bullshit if she did have one. None of Mikoto's descendants have been noted of transforming, they only get some weird powers like talking to animals
The rule should be you have to have a mask for Godzilla time.
Haku and Kuon.
Haku's story isn't nearly over so he will be the protagonist,
he has the fan too since Kuon decided to not cut Haku's head off. Hakuoro's story is mostly over mostly over. Is Kuon still going to be pissed about Haku? I have a feeling she has her father's rage in her and holds a mean grudge.
Makes me sad they cut out that Ruru can talk to animals too. Aruruw and Ruru are noted as being similar.
People tend to make better observations when not under extreme emotional duress. Haku dying made her sort of lose it. First it was denial, then anger, then she tries to kill him, stops from killing him, and wanders off babbling. She didn't have time to sit down and think
Possibly. Of all the reasons to start a war invading neighboring lands because there is not enough natural resources is high up there probably second only to religious and ethnic conflicts.
Wait, i thought cut tendons heal over time?
Did Genji just permamently disabled his granddaughter due to muh Evenkuruga way of life just to show proof of his cause (that was totally unnecessary given that Hakuoro would have helped him nonetheless)?
Haku was way more chill with the emperor in the game. I wonder why they made him more bothered with chit chatting with the emperor in the anime. Haku gives too many fucks in the anime.
She thinks her hubby is dead, cut her some slack. They were out to kill her too. I wonder why they left the game when Kuon is at her lowest moment, bawling her eyes out regretting not figuring out she loves him sooner. Hopefully she supports Oshutoru.
Aruru also joins her to kill and eat people, along with Oboro who's reaction is a bit more normal or reasonable.
Oboro just teaches her about love and stuff;
"You did love this person, because now your heart is broken since you've lost them. I know because I went through the same thing".
I laughed at how awkward it was, there weren't quite stills but it felt like they decided to unnecessarily stretch out the scene by letting Haku pour the drink and wait like 5 secs without actually doing anything afterwards.
Hopefully she supports Oshutoru. Don't be a dumbshit anon, you know exactly how this is going to turn out.
Misunderstandings, war between two lovers/friends, with neither of them knowing the truth until nearly the end due to misunderstandings. It was set up in this way exactly so they could have tragic misunderstandings, which eventually work out by the end of the third game as both nations are united as one.
However in order for things to get better, they're going to have to get a lot worse first. You got to know both nations at this point exactly so you could know that neither side is really the bad side here, this isn't like the previous game where Tuskur just takes out the bad guy. Rather both sides are good, but they must come to blows, due to the situation at hand.
Its tragedy, but its a tragedy that will eventually work out for the best.
All they need is some big bad that both sides can unite with each other at the end, to both take down.
Have you guys interested in the game localization tweeted/emailed Atlus about it yet?
I'd say someone on the Yamato side might be more likely, since they're supposed to be the underdogs, so it'll inspire them to fight harder. Kind of like when that one person died in Uta1, and it caused Hakuro to fight harder. Its the heroes side where someone important is lost.
Although, either way I think whoever gets a death scene, it'll be fake. They'll turn out to still be alive later.
Since there shouldn't be any real bad blood inbetween them at the end.
That will only be due to political differences, I doubt
Kuon will hold a grudge.Learning identities won't change that. I can see Haku failing to resurrect humanity chilling somewhere while Anju runs Yamato.
she's just 2cute
Rebellion story with a very wide scope. Lots of dialog, and plenty of long SRPG gameplay. The battles are actually fairly challenging if you want to meet the bonus objectives, since your ranking is timed, and you get penalized for being overleveled.
I've played the game but how does the anime compare, I thought it would be way different considering they completely changed the character designs and art style from the game.
Anyway, my point in bringing this up is that Atlus is able to localize Uta 2 and expressing interest to them will help the possibility.
Protag is a really cool and upstanding dude and his VA is pretty great. Pretty chuu2 though.
TtT 2 is a lot better than the original. Most people didn't like TtT 1.
Well, I mean, your rank is penalized for being overleveled. It doesn't matter unless you're going for the trophy.
I want there to be a Tuskuru/Yamato negation or just a conversation between "Oshutoru" and Kuon while Kuon still thinks her hubby is kill. I hope she brings Haku up and "Oshutoru" is dismissive about it or calls it small potatoes. I wonder how hard Kuon would rage. It won't happen, Haku is smarter than that.
I like to think they would heal, but Sakuya will never be the same (neither will Kuuya). So, she might as well be permanently crippled. Also, their medicine isn't exactly modernized. We just don't know yet because neither of them were shown in the sequel and their appearance in the third game is unknown as of now. Again, I like to think that they'll be shown to give an indication of what progress they've made (if any), but it's all conjecture.
Also, she's like Hien; both take Evenkuruga rights and loyalty to such a hyperbole it becomes downright self destructive. So, Sakuya had a hand (leg) in crippling herself because of muh loyalty
Yeah, it's a great DRPG. And some pretty good girls as party members.
Oh God, what the fuck. I did not need to see that spoiler, asshole.
Because she didn't deserve it, anon. She got fucked over. It's her own damn fault, sure, but she still didn't deserve any of the shit that happened to her
and neither did Kuuya.
Sakuya is godlike, most pure, loving, and emotionally strong girl.
>both sides are good
>Hey Tuskur, let us raid ancient human archaeological sites in your country.
>No, fuck off.
>GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES DESTROYING YOU WOULD MAKE VICTORY ALL THE SWEETER
>Still want to be surprise.
>Come to /a/ because you have no friends and got spoiled. Serve you right.
They shouldn't have played with his wife then.
Also introducing the old humans in the sequel left me with a small bad taste really, why can't we just move on with the new civilization and leave the humans as history.
>Hakuoro, make my friend your servant and concubine
>Hakuoro, make my daughter your hostage and concubine
>Hakuoro, just fuck me already
god fucking damnit fucking faggot god
New OP: meh as fuck
New ED: lazy as fuck
New episode: dragging as fuck
>Atui looks sad when her father send her to the battle field.
>tfw Rurutie also got a letter?
There's nothing good about this adaptation except the music and the background.
Why did they made it looks like Haku is standing with Kurou??
Well the Chemistry is certainly there , and besides benawi is the the only male party member in season 1 not to get paired off with some one. I mean oboro and twins are gay, kurou got paired off with inkara's daughter in the PS2 game/OVA, benawi is the only single dude.
>Some are clamoring for Benawi and Sakuya
>Benawi gets with Munechika
>The latter option makes sense.
Not that guy, but it's not like that's a totally baseless notion.
Besides, it's convenient to the plot. If Oboro paired up with a woman and had kids of his own, the succession might get awkward a generation or two later.
Just horsing around, nothing homo here to see.
I'm kind of mixed on it.
Aruruw was a willful little brat who ignored repeated instruction not to go into the depths of the forest, adopted the offspring of a forest god feared not just locally but throughout the surrounding nations, raised the creature to be unflinchingly loyal and to direct its killing instinct towards anyone that so much as threatens her, rides it into battle despite orders to stay at home, and becomes a legend that enemy soldiers immediately recognize by the title "Mother of the Forest"
By comparison, who the fuck is Rurutie? What makes her and her bird so special? If it's unique, why is it loyal to Rurutie specifically and not a more martial sibling? If it's not, isn't Rurutie just an unequipped and untrained bird cavalier rather than a summoner or beastmaster?
Hakuoro drops the term when a prisoner tries to kidnap Aruruw. Touka, also a prisoner at the time, immediately realizes the meaning and freaks the fuck out. The prisoner holding Aruruw tries to call Hakuoro's bluff and is eaten alive by Mukkur moments later.
Conversely, does Tuskur even need to do anything to render Kokopo vulnerable?
She wont waste her life, will she?
Wouldn't work. Yurifags already have Karura/Touka, Karura/Urto, and Karura/whoever she damn well pleases.
>rurutie and atui gonna go kill some
>dekoponpo would fuck something big later
What are you talking about? She lost because she couldn't control her power to a level that the weapons could withstand.
"A good workman never blames his tools". She should have known and fought to the limit of the weapons, not being able to control herself shows her limitations as a swordsman.
You can't say that Benawi would have lost if she had her massive slab of a sword either, because he would have her fought differently.
Haku and gang are going to be hostage rescuing while it cuts to the generals fucking up Russia.
That's how the game did it anyway. And they left for war in this ep. Not a surprise they are fighting now.
Uzurussia isnt able to do shit.
And the more important part comes when Haku and gang have to search an ancient human lab in uzurussia for survivors and he gets memories back.
>we're agents of foreign country and just happen to have a secret entrance to the royal palace in our inn
>did you also know we're total badasses and one woman armies?
>now run along little boy, nothing to see here
