You know in the OP how EnPal is riding OERD? It's because Yuya is going to use every Summoning method while possessed. He's setting up to Xyz a second time with Yuto, then he will Synchro Summon with Yugo, and finally fuse EnPal and OERD together with Yuri as a call-back to Dragon Master Knight.

hey guys i saw yugi's legendary decks in a recommended video on youtube and the nostalgia is killing me, is the new yugioh worth watching? i saw the entire duel monsters when i was a kid and had a shitload of cards, which i made by stealing from walmart (and also buying). but i have 0 now since i gave them away to special needs kids so they can be happy when i left usa. Im thinking of buying this deck (and maybe all the duel monster cards if posible cuz why not)

Watch until the 7th episode, then make your decision.
It contains all the new summoning methods, so it would be good for you to try out if you want to learn how to summon them. It has a consistent plot, but it does get slow around the Synchro arc, but we're on episode 86 and the hype train is on maximum output.
It contains more scientific approaches to the "magic", but it does have quite a bit of fantasy elements DRAGONS in it. I would say give it a fair shot and keep an open mind, also SKIP EPISODES 19/20 THERE IS NO PLOT AND THEY CAME FROM SATAN'S ASSHOLE. Fuck Eita so hard.

Yuya will be presented with the option to either let everyone have their lives back by "setting the Scales" to simultaneously "Summon" all the people who were carded in one harmonized dimension, or to be with Yuzu. Before he makes his choice Yusho will tell him that Entertainment is about bringing smiles to everyone, making him think he should be away from Yuzu forever. Yuzu will then speak up and remind Yuya to be happy for himself. Yuya will realize that he's happy when everyone else is happy, and will decide for Third Impact to save everyone and be away from Yuzu forever.

The series will end with all of the dimensions united, and you get to see characters reconcile with each other, but at the same time see the difficulty of people like Shun and Shuzo try to live their lives again without their respective Yuya and Yuzu.

The end of the series is Yuya and Yuzu smiling at each other, reaching for each other but permanently separated, and then Yusho and Yoko finding a baby boy while Shuzo finds a baby girl.

The real happy ending is after a time-skip, Yuya is ready to leave Maiami City and become a professional Entame Duelist. Yuzu, however, refuses to let him leave (but won't confess) and challenges him to a duel, claiming "if you can't beat me you won't beat anyone." If Yuya loses, he has to stay with his family, friends, and Yuzu.

As the duel progresses their family and friends gather to watch, cheering both of them on. It ultimately comes down to Yuzu's ace about to battle Yuya's final ace (that isn't evil), with the outcome of the duel decided by who grabs the final Action Card; unless Yuya grabs it, he will lose. Both of them dive for it at the same time.

However, Yuya grabs Yuzu's hand instead, spins her around to hold her in his arms, and kisses her as their attacks collide in fireworks, dropping his LP to zero. Yuya acknowledges that, because he lost, he has to stay with Yuzu, but Yusho, Yoko, and Shuzo encourage both of them to journey out of the city to bring smiles to everyone together.
