I read it and it's really far from good. Setting is top tier. Story is not. Characters aren't either. Style is a bit boring. The exclusion of everything sex related is boring. Female side character suffer from sameface. All in all, a wasted opportunity.

From other threads I've seen on this, people tend to rate it highly because of the artists technical skill(which goes to shit when it's not a close-up shot) and the use of oil paint for spreads and other climax moments.
