So, a nip posted this on 2ch:
And Isayama said himself he had a sweet dream after making a hard decision and telling his coworker to calm down, so who did he killed this time?
Inb4 Hanji ;_;
Annie is love
Annie is life
I love Annie from the bottom of my heart and the core of my soul
Annie a miracle of the universe
Annie might've done some things wrong, but she's still a beautiful person inside and out
That's the issue.
Dreamfag posted a spoiler noting Levi wants her to choose.
It's why last thread there were some discussion that the Titan might have actually been Rod somehow and Historia hesitated.
Truth be told, if you think about it.
Rod noted he "chose" the injection he gave Historia. If he can choose, that means there are multiple and different ones.
And really, this belly certainly is fitting to Rod.
I'm gonna remain neutral though, but I do keep in my mind that when Historia put the needle in, the syringe was not shown to be empty.
The other flaws made it funny sometimes, the lesbian shit makes it just garbage tier. And yurifags are the absolute cancer in these threads even when there is no content for them.
One is already dead other might be still alive, indeed very hard choice.
After all if anything she can always touch Eren's back again in the future and browse the memories for Frida action if needed.
No real need to eat Eren to have that to herself, and Historia changing her role to what her name suggest and dig out real history of humanity from Eren back is a proper way to go.
I didn't even think that she would realize she had a choice. It seemed like the only thing she could think of was MUH FRIDA and MUH DUTY, so it surprises me that MUH YMIR has become relevant again.
Not speaking as a YHfag but I think it would be better for her character growth if she let go of her past and sticking to someone who has been dead for a long time and chooses to live and move forward instead.
Fuck, I would have liked it more if it was Mikasa to confront her. And instead of going ape shit she reminds her of Ymir.
I'll feel like I'm cheated though if he kills Kenny after introducing him only a few chapters ago. Like what was the point of even having his character included then?
Sure she can, she did once already, and to Historia to boot.
Levi shouldn't know enough about Ymir and Historia to give that speech to her, honestly.
I can't see Mikasa empathizing with Historia because of that one panel.
It would have been nice character development if Mikasa remained calm and talked Historia out of it. Historia won't have to die, EMA friendship won't have to break apart, etc, etc.
I always thought Mikasa would be sympathetic to Historia due to their similarities.
Maybe if it were like the other kidnappings where there was at least the idea that they wanted Eren alive for some purpose.
Historia transforming in any way means she's mindless unless she eats Eren.
>if Mikasa remained calm and talked Historia out of it
She might try to help her now that she doesn't know about her wanting to kill Eren. If she learns about it, then remaining calm would feel out of place.
The idea is she was composed enough to give Historia an ultimatum between getting Ymir the fuck out of the way or the two of them dying together, and Historia responded. Which is pretty much all she's getting from Levi were these spoilers true.
Personally I'd just like Eren to man up and transform which requires something like Mikasa being put in harm's way. I wonder if Historia will be a feral type susceptible to coordinate. Everyone eating up Reiss' blatant bullshit without question is pissing me off, especially Kenny.
That kind of shit : http://i.imgur.com/aKeUAoU.jpg
On the other hand, one of them has posted illustrations of the bonuses from the Blu-ray of the recap movie
She dies while
fucking a titan.
Can any one give me a quick rundown? I don't mind spoilers.
I stop reading this back when Erwin lost his arm . Close to where Armin and Jean got kidnapped pretending to be Eren and Historia.
my favorite Eren moment was when he was captured by Bert and Rainer and like ten pages are spent establishing that he can't run away so he might as well try to get information. But he never really tries to get information, he just gets pissed off and screams how he's going to murder them
I just came from playing CS:GO and there was this one faggot (literally) called Rivaille. He was french black gay guy. He couldn't stop whoring themselves whole game long and saying how much he loves Levi and wants to get fucked by him...
Was he one of you /a/nons?
At least there was a trigger for that(Reiner rambling on as a "soldier") as well as Ymir shutting up and refusing to say anything.
I really liked him during the fights with Annie, Reiner, and the Smiling Titan. He was improving in some ways up until he gave up and went suicidal because everyone's too stupid to call out Reiss on his bullshit.
I'm pretty sure you guys did not ask for this, but just another friendly reminder that fujos are fucking insane.
>forget about tab without looking
>go back to close it
>people thinking that Eren isn't going to be kill
This chapter will be the end of season 2 and Eren getting eaten is the perfect twist for that.
Serious question here: If Historia eats Eren and Rod dies during this event, what will the SL do with Historia? She is literally the last Reiss heir who can utilize the titan powers, so her dying could determine humanity's demise. Howver with her being the only shifter left on their side, she's almost necessary in their quest for getting to the basement and furthermore.
So what do?
I think that if that scenario happens Historia will somehow be able to fight back. Then she either escapes or defeats the SL.
Though that's assuming she becomes the strongest Titan so far.
mikasa can't beat a titan shifter, plus eren wills would live on in historia, so she would have to protect historia to save humanity.
plus she didn't kill her during the ymir incident so i doubt mikasa is that heartless
Sort government out first. Install her as queen. Make sure she can use the coordinate properly, then get to basement. They can do this quietly, get to Shiganshina, get everything out of basement, get back. Figure out what to do from there.
>People guessing that it's minors like Kenny or something
If he had to calm his coworker down, and the decision was so tough, it had to be either someone very important like Eren or Historia or less likely, a fan-loved character like Hanji or something.
She'd want to more than anything of course but she wouldn't be allowed to, and she knows that. Historia would literally be the last hope they have.
That's a sound plan. They'd have some pretty heavy artillery around her though, just in case.
First of all that would be hilarious, they would have to support the one who ate Eren for those reasons. Imagine Mikasa's butthurt. I wish Isayama would do that but it would overcomplicate things even worse than what they are.
I think it would simplify everything quite a lot, actually. And the tension caused would just be some extra drama added, nothing really plot relevant.
Also Historia meeting Ymir again would make for a tricky situation. Think about it like this: The SL get to the basement and meet BRY there, BRY can't let them take whatever's in there and succeed, right? Well, Historia will then have to choose between joining Ymir and letting humanity lose, or literally fighting Ymir to the death for humanity's chance at survival. And given Historia's new found ambition from Eren's speech, it looks like she may choose the latter.
Get hype for dramatic Yuris.
You really think she would fight the one person who didn't demand she play some role to the death? That she would choose an abusive manlet, an autistic azn and an emotionally neutered mc over the only person she's ever shown genuine concern and affection for?
I think any reliance on Historia to fight for humanity would only serve to set up a truly catastrophic (if somewhat predictable) betrayal.
The SL has to rely on Historia who could change her stance on things, ditch them and would cause humanity to be fucked over big time. Would be pretty funny and a guaranteed bad end.
At the same time, the Reiss family has declined to do anything about the Titan problem for the last century. Either their power isn't capable of defeating them, or the memory passed down over generations doesn't want to.
I believe Grisha had a very good reason for taking the power from Frieda. Historia's even less reliable than Eren anyway, she'll follow anyone who gives her proper encouragement.
I don't think she would follow just anyone, her dad got the upperhand just because he's her dad. If she thinks she's suited for the role she would go just along with it, if not then they'd have to force it on her like the queen thing. Which could easily end in disaster of course.
Well that was brave of Isayama.
He finally grew a set.
Good night sweet prince.
The midnight stories and the Close-Up Reports are going on right now. I think Annie's is the 11th midnight story. Some of the midnight stories got summary leaks at the other place. Only Eren and Mikasa have the Close-Up Reports so far. Some of Eren's got leaked. There was some Eren/Hanji and Levi/Hanji interactions in it. I think the Close-Up Reports aren't being leaked really because they're longer than the interviews and because a character like the interviewer in the interviews basically just follows the character in the Close-Up report around all day. It works like a documentary. It sounds boring. There's nothing interesting like with the interviews.
Picked these up from the fujo thread
Marlo and Hitch asked Annie about her classmates
She speaks about Mikasa, Eren, Jean
Rather not bad it seems -> Probably referring to her impression of them or something else
I can't moon at all so I wouldn't know. It just seems like the Close-Up reports are really bland and don't add anything to the characters like the interviews did or at least attempted to do.
Yeah, I like that these midnight stories are lighter in tone, but they're not as deep or as engaging as the dream and rain stories. Also, Petra's midnight story caused some controversy. There was a rumor that it was because Petra and Levi kissed in it, but what actually caused the controversy was that Petra put on nail polish and make-up in her story when Isayama had previously said in a Q&A that the female soldiers didn't wear make-up. So Petra's story was contradicting established canon or at least that's what I got out of it.
No. He did compliment her appearance though after she put the make-up on, I think. I think the anon who was looking for Smartpass stuff on Twitter got confused. The Levi/Petra kiss thing probably came from some Twitter users talking about a fan art instead of Smartpass stuff.
Yeah it could be seen as a small exception, I suppose. Maybe people were mad because canon was contradicted for potential shipping crap. The females in the anime, especially Mikasa, look like they're wearing lip gloss all the time so it's not that big of a deal.
Ya, I liked that too. They're kinda refreshing after the two series of dark and sad stories
even though I can't read any of them, but I remember the controversy over Petra's story isn't that. According to the leaks I've read, the controversy was over Levi noticing Petra trimming her nails (or polished? not sure which is it), and praising her for it. And then there's also Hanji who's acting too like herself in chuugakkou.
I guess the depressing stories feel more natural since that's how snk is in general, and with the lighthearted stories, they need to introduce many new elements because they're practically non-existent in the manga, so people might not like it, or at least that's what I got out of reading some of the recent stories.
It's a shame that she's treated this way. She had some really impressive solo and team Titan kills. It's not really her fault that she died in the fight vs. Annie because her and the rest of Squad Levi had no way of knowing that Annie could speed regenerate if she did one eye at a time.
For me, any time shipper crap gets thrown in unnecessarily, I automatically categorize it as shit. A cheap trick to get people talking about pointless stuff. So, I feel like that's how I'd view Petra's midnight thing story (and most things with Petra nowadays).
Oh okay. I was sure it was about the Q&A thing, but that makes sense too. I figured it was more likely to be shipping related. I don't see why people would get mad at Levi/Petra stuff though. It's not like it will led to anything since Petra is dead and all. And about the Hanji thing, Hanji is sadly mischaracterized quite often.
>I don't see why people would get mad at Levi/Petra stuff though.
If I had to guess, it'd be because that pairing is shoved down people's throats too often when there's no reason for it. And people who ship Manlet's other pairing far outnumber LPfags, so it's not even for the purpose of selling merch.
Maybe you're shipping trash, but YH bait is not that bad because a majority of the fandom supports it and it doesn't really conflict with any other major ships. I remember the YH birthday event on the Hangeki game was by far the most popular event with like 5K favorites.
This. Let Petra (and Marco too) just rest in peace. If they have to pair Petra up, put her with Auruo. And if they feel the need to put Levi with a female, put him with Hanji (that fanbase is much larger than LP anyways) or even Mikasa.
The Hangeki game has been putting Levi and Mikasa together lately, but as comrades which I don't mind because it's an accurate reflection of recent manga canon. They have been fighting together a lot recently in the manga. Anyways, is anyone monitoring 2chan here for potential spoilers/news?
Mangakansou is always out 1-2 hours after dreamfag, so there wasn't any room to doubt him, and people believed him naturally. They doubted him this month because some found that his style of writing to be different this time.
well it seems to be a running theme with the titan shifters that they seem to be surprised with how much camaraderie they have with their fellow soldiers. There was Annie sparing Armin and then being unable to answer why she did it when he confronts her. There was Reiner basically having a nervous breakdown. There was Bert saying that not everything was a lie and that they really thought of themselves as comrades.
though I still think Bert's is bullshit. He attacks the wall after three years of training, and he basically starts where a lot of his classmates happen to be standing
it happened before Armin's ruse. I think they showed up with the basic goal of eliminating humanity, and at least Reiner and Annie had some misgivings about that. Bert, well... He doesn't hesitate to start the attack off by attacking his classmates. He's the guy who constantly has to remind Reiner to go back to his home town and that he isn't a "soldier". He's "taciturn"; you don't really get those moments where he's putting his life on the line for other people like Reiner. He may have some misgivings, if only for the "it wasn't ALL bullshit" line, but I could see it as misdirection. Or at least he's been less effected by his time as a soldier than the other two.
It looks like he doesn't care about humans as much as Reiner and Annie do but I don't think he wanted to kill them for no reason. He just doesn't hesitate because he puts the mission, Reiner and Annie above everything else.
>And the 3DMG doesn't prove anything.
I'm pretty sure it does. If she wanted to, she could get the 3DMG of any random soldier but she picked specifically Marco. Also we don't know if she was the one who killed him. People assume Annie was the one who killed Sonny and Bean but Hanji said it was two or more people so BR were involved too.
He glared at Reiner for falling deeper in the soldier state by sympathizing with Connie, and he glared at him a lot, but it was more like a worried stare. The only time he glared at him was when Reiner asked him to change courses. He was pretty angry in this sequence.
