Some people like to watch stuff animated, i'm one of those people.
The anime doesn't even have to be that detailed or have that high a budget, it would only really need a budget for any scene where saitama is just somewhat serious Sea king fight, meteor, boros etc

No, there are plenty of scenes i would like to see, those are just the only ones i think would need really good animation, that doesn't mean i wouldn't want to watch the rest, i just don't think him slapping mosquito girl or hitting the giant would require as high a budget as for example him vs boros.

The redraw by murata most definitely has a demographic which weekly young jump(Seinen magazine) is behind, the tank is found with other seinen series for example.

>>
Even if they made an anime, I wouldn't watch it.

I really don't like the attitude some people on /a/ have, that a story isn't complete until it gets adapted into an anime, as if anime is somehow superior to manga and only it can properly convey the 'true vision' of the author.
>>
>>120828084
It's always nice to see Saitama's actual physique.
>>
>>120827800
So? It doesn't gain a demographic just due to being published in a magazine aimed at a certain demographic. Going by how demographics work, the main demographic of One Piece is seinen, because the 18+ readers outnumber the 17-. A remake that doesn't add many new elements doesn't automatically gain a new demographic just due to being published and redrawn: the demographic remains the same as the original story. If one went by a study, then OPM would most likely end up with a 18+ majority demographic, but that's not due to the magazine it's published in, the magazine it's published in reflects who they're trying to market it towards.
>>120828084
Saitama doesn't give a fuck about that. He even leveled a city himself, his reaction was an unconcerned "ah." He looks pissed because he's disappointed that Boros was such a bitch, and because he's experiencing the sense of loneliness and alienation that the House of Evolution guy was talking about, although I suppose Murata hasn't gotten that far.

>>120828466
True.

I'd still hit it.
>>
>>120828604
He wasn't the least bit pissed at Boros for leveling A City. He doesn't show a single hint of it. And that image is from after Boros is killed, after he points out that Saitama is too strong, which is what makes Saitama so unfulfilled.
>>
>>120827737
Everything has a demographic.
>>
>>120828747
He was dissapointed at Boros aswell as sad about the whole situation, the guy did try his hardest and still didn't do anything to Saitama
>>
>>120828747
Saitama said something along the lines of "you can't go around attacking planets because you're bored, what's wrong with you?"

I wouldn't really call that pissed, but I can see it as giving him a reason to end the fight quickly and be more serious. Boros was a serious threat to the planet and he knew he couldn't fuck around with him, even if it did deprive him of a good fight.
>>

Oh I'm not the one that posted that image, and I'm not disagreeing on what he was feeling in that image either. He was sad as fuck because he realized then and there that he was never EVER going to have an actual challenging fight like they are in his chinese cartoons.

>>
I'm more interested on the S Rank heroes, like the fat guy or zombie man or the rank 5 kid
>>
>>120829081
The Garou thing was sad too, in a way. Garou was breaking his limiter. Problem is, he was doing it through fighting. He starter breaking it and became stronger than the other heroes, but after that there was no-one left to further push him towards limit break. Except Saitama, and he was too strong. Perhaps challenging yourself rather than others is the only way to break your limiter?
>>
>>120829152
Zombieman is boring. He's an actual 'normal' with normal values, unlike Saitama who is just lacking in peculiarities.
>>
>>120829152
Pig god has pretty high endurance and he most likely has a minor healing factor because he was able to eat the demonic water, it punched a hole through his stomach and he lived, and he was okay not too long after almost getting eaten by another monster. He can eat almost anything and he hinted at an ultimate technique during the Garou fight when everyone was getting their shit slapped.

Zombie man is a product of the house of evolution, he confronted the doctor that made him and he was ready to kill him, the doctor had quit his job and he explained that Saitama (although he didn't call him by name) dismantled his organization and made him reform after slapping asura rhino's shit. Zombie man decided not to kill the doctor and his robo gorilla lover and left them alone. He has a very very high healing factor and he would die if someone destroyed enough of his body.

The rank 5 kid used to be Robo knight's assistant, he has a backpack that has a ton of weapons that he used during the monster association arc and he was using it very well until he met the demonic water, which managed to completely destroy it with little effort. He was desperate so he tried to call metal knight to help them but he apparently didn't show up or he didn't show up before the fight ended. He was also raped by pri pri prisoner.
>>

>Such a bitch
You sure are fuckin' stupid.
>>
>>120829633
No, he only said that Garou had gotten weaker at the very end, when his bulkiness had all disappeared and just looked like a weaker version of his first monster form (smaller horns), not that he was getting progressively weaker as he got more monstrous looking.
>>
>>120829633
No, it was just towards the end when Garou became straight-up Diablo-style, after the "something is coming". Up until then he was improving. He gave up pushing himself and his obsession started turning him into a monster, making him weaken since limit break > monster.
>>
>>120829676
Nah nah nah man Saitima punched his planet destroyer attack, not him. He never went serious on Boris physically
>>
>>120829676
Still a complete bitch to Saitama. "Serious punch" means that it's meant to hurt, not that he's using much power.
>>
>>120829676
He only used a serious punch on him once and it fucked him up hard.
>>
>>120829854
Wasn't even on him, it was on Boros's planet destroyer attack beam/laser thing
>>
>>120829633
That's just your imagination.
He didn't say anything like that until Garou broke down to almost his normal human self.
>>
>>120829707
I'd say he was breaking his limit because he believed in becoming an unbeatable monster, just like how Saitama broke it by training to become an unbeatable hero. His becoming more monstrous, I believe, was just him progressing towards that ideal and not him 'compromising'. The compromise was that he never really believed in the 'ideal' of an unbeatable monster bringing peace to the entire world. In his heart, he still wanted to be a hero, just like what Saitama said.

He gave up in the end, succumbing to the 'reality' that he could never defeat Saitama because he didn't really believe in becoming a monster. He didn't have the mental fortitude to keep progressing on the patch he had chosen and gave up, causing his form to degrade to that of a cheap costume.

The gist of what I'm saying (since I think my words are getting too twisted up) is that becoming more monstrous looking wasn't necessarily a bad thing for Garou. I really do think he was still breaking his limit that way. It's just that he was being held back by his true desire.

>>120829978
Nah, this was the turning point. Saitama's attitude towards the whole fight changes after the "something is coming" thing, and Saitama being able to just straight-up punch Garou like he does on this page would've been impossible. Garou could dodge such attacks up until then, that's why Saitama threw him into the air and started using consecutive punches and so.
>>120830073
A good theory.
>>
>>120830204
It's not so much that Garou couldn't dodge it, I think, just that he probably thought he didn't need to anymore. His transformation filled him with baseless confidence, so he probably thought that he could tank that hit and that his punch would defeat Saitama.
>>
>>120830298
Garou also missed with his own punch at the same time, or rather Saitama easily dodged it, that also wouldn't have happened earlier.
>>
>>120830204
I don't see Saitama's attitude changing at all and him being able to hit Garou doesn't mean anything
He would've been able to kil garou with the first punch, calling it serious or not.
Even if you want to go down that road, Saitama used a serious move on that Garou and it didn't mean anything to Garou.
>>
>>120830710
>him being able to hit Garou doesn't mean anything
The entire reason he threw Garou into the air with all that rubble was that he couldn't keep up with Garou's speed anymore. The Serious Headbutt meant something: it shredded the part of Garou it hit. It wasn't an attack against Garou's entire body, it was supposed to hit his arm and it completely destroyed his arm.
>>
>>120830799
>he couldn't keep up with Garou's speed anymore
Really now?
>>
>>120830799
>he couldn't keep up with Garou's speed anymore
No, it was because he wasn't serious. Yet, Saitama was still faster than Garou even when he wasn't being serious. It's just that Garou could read and predict his 'unserious' moves.

Saitama did the tableflip to have fun fighting Garou. He was just playing around. If he seriously went at it, Garou probably wouldn't have been able to dodge or react to Saitama at all (consider how much stronger Saitama's serious punches probably are compared to Garou's; the difference between their "serious" speed would probably be the same) and that wouldn't have been fun for Saitama who was looking to just have fun with him.

Saitama could of course have just blown the entire area to pieces with a Serious Fart, but Garou was shown to be one step ahead.
>>120830923
Okay, in pure velocity Saitama was of course superior, and if Saitama is completely serious it's of course another matter. But Saitama who punched Demon Garou's stomach wasn't serious. Demon Garou who missed Saitama was completely serious. Before that serious Garou would hit Saitama and unserious Saitama couldn't hit Garou. When Saitama tells Garou that he's weaker he's also saying it like he should have noticed, and Saitama himself had of course noticed. How would either one be able to know that when they hadn't traded a single attack since Garou became almost human again? Because Garou had been getting weaker for awhile without wanting to admit it, and Saitama had noticed because he could now keep up with ease without being serious.
>>
>>120831114
But he respected the dates lately, last chapter even got 28 pages. Adding there is a lot of the characters he like to draw in this chapter. If he makes the sidehops in just a double page it should work, as it's not supposed to be an impressive scene and it would link better to Sonic's reaction face.

As long as I get more Fubuki I'm okay with that anyway, even if he cut the chapter in two.
>>
>>120831125
Isn't it just because Saitama stopped "playing" with Garou? He talked about how it wasn't fun playing with Garou anymore and the mood had gotten pretty dramatic. That Saitama dodged Garou's punch in this panel
>>120830204
can be explained away with him entering lecture mode (given how stern looking he does in that 1st panel with half of his face covered in shadow). He wasn't playing around anymore. It's more like he was with Boros; although, unlike that time where he was just letting Boros rampage as much as he wants, he was pretty much just scolding Garou here for continuing to be childish.
>>
>>120831259
I don't think Saitama minds the mood so much. The play was no fun because Garou wasn't strong enough to be an adequate playmate anymore, and then he proceeded to act like a retard to further disappoint Saitama. I doubt Saitama would have objected to a dramatic Garou as long as the fighting was fun. I can of course be wrong, this is just my interpretation.
>>
>>120831125
>How would either one be able to know
By Garou being almost human again?
He became stronger the more monstruous he became before so why would it have stopped other than because of your imagination?
>>
Ins't the fact that he still kill almost anything in one punch without trying means Saitama is just like your average person and can't "control" his strengh like some people says ?
Normal punch : just a little slap without any strengh
Serious punch : tries harder, as we could see in the Boros fight he even used a stance that shows this fact

Which means serious punch isn't far from his max strengh. But anyway, when just one of them easily destroys the so called strongest guy in the universe it doesn't means much, doubt "God" will be much stronger.
>>
>a parody on shonen action manga and their powerlevel crap
>/a/ always discusses OPM powerlevels

You're all fucking stupid. Every single one of you.
>>
>>120827436
I always thought this trio would make a great team. Genos's seriousness and sonic's mischievousness would make a fun clash.
>>
>>120831404
Except Saitama is obviously disappointed when Garou goes from spiky demon to winged demon. By your logic, that should've been a massive strength upgrade, but Saitama is just like, dude, just stop.
>>
>>120831417
People are putting way too much value on him calling his punches serious.
It's more for the reader to know that shit is about to get down.
He could punch ten times as hard without calling it serious punch.
>>
>>120831382
>I don't think Saitama minds the mood so much
No, Saitama knows how to read the mood. The Boros fight, for example; lots of people have interpreted it as Saitama having pity on Boros because, if he had fought as usual, he'd have unceremoniously killed Boros (since he's a monster and Saitama doesn't really have any qualms about outright killing them).

Saitama didn't sympathize with Garou's wish to becoming a monster that united humanity against him, or of his idea of a hero of justice that protected everyone, but he did clearly sympathize with him. He even tried to get him to want to live again, even asking him if he was even alright with getting killed by other heroes when it was Saitama that defeated him.
>>
>>120831508
No, don't think so. Can you control your strengh like you said ? The point of Saitama is that he's just a normal dude with a 1000X strength cheat mode.
>>
>>120831497
It's people like you who are "stupid" by dismissing it completely since you're completely missing some of the finer aspects in ONE's storytelling. Of course it's a joke, but there's an underlying layer of sincerity to it. The "power levels" are heavily intertwined with the social dynamics of the setting. It's even more blatant in the chapter in which Dr. Genus talks to Zombieman about how Saitama alienated himself from the rest of society through breaking his limit and becoming the most powerful hero of all.
>>
>>120831503
Of course he is disappointed. The same way he was disappointed Boros couldn't put a scratch on him.
The only time Saitama was impressed by Garou was because he figured out a way to compensate his pathetic speed and strength. He was still shit compared to Saitama and even a huge jump in power is still shit compared to Saitama. Why should he be impressed?
>>
>>120831564
But Saitama doesn't try to end fights with one punch. He gave Boros the same punch that killed all other monsters up to that point, and if Boros hadn't been strong, that would've been it. No pity there. Boros happened to be strong enough to survive, so Saitama starting upping the ante to see how much fun he could have fighting Boros. Had someone like The Strongest Brother been able to survive the same punch, then I imagine Saitama would have done the same thing rather than just straight kill him with a more serious one. Saitama wants opponents that he can fight with, after all.
>>
>>120831616
Teplace that 1000 with infinite and yeah that's what he is.
He obviously can control his strength like crazy because he punched everything from a normal human being to Frieza with varying levels of damage.
He even calculated the force he needs to come back to earth without flying right through it or not reaching it at all. That's a crazy level of control.
>>
>>120831733
> The same way he was disappointed Boros couldn't put a scratch on him

He did tough, Saitama did felt impressed when he saw he got sent to the moon, saying it looked like a real fight at last.
>>
>>120831733
Because if he had still been growing stronger during his last transformations, Saitama could have fought more and more seriously. Same reason the fight lasted as long as it did until that point. Why slowly up the ante against Garou up until that point and suddenly quit?
>>
>>120831815
> He even calculated the force he needs to come back to earth without flying right through it or not reaching it at all. That's a crazy level of control.

No. You're thinking about it too much here.
>>
>>120831857
How am I thinking too much about it? Why else would he mention the moon's gravity? Because he fears he can't jump back?
>>
>>120831909
The moon thing was Murata-only, it doesn't happen in the original.
>>
>>120831909
Like said before, Murata only, and I highly doubt Saitama know much about this kind of shit.
>>
>>120832022
>>120832077
So what?
Everything Murata does is approved by ONE.

>I highly doubt Saitama know much about this kind of shit
He obviously does.
>>
Not feeling too well but wanted to draw some OPM tonight, post some requests, may do one or two of them.
>>
>>120832124
It is? Where did you read that?
>>
I'd like to see a parody of the Dragonball song as the OP.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7kZVH849Eo
>>
>>120832124
No, you're thinking about it too much, I'll say it again. What he tough was just common knowledge.
Also, I really don't think Saitama is anything near an "infinite" power, simply because he have stuff like "serious series".
>>
>>120832164
ONE complained about the Sea King punch looked obviously too strong so that was changed. He gives his toughts about his pages and do the spin off chapters, things like the moon stuff was clearly approved.
>>
>>120832164
I asked him myself in one of his streams who it was who came up with the moon thing and he said that it was his idea but ONE approved it like he always does.
You can also ask ultimateking for other written sources.
>>
>>120832187
No thanks, don't really think it would fit OPM at all, let alone the song.
>>
>>120832222
Again, he obviously does think about things like that. It's right there in that panel. I don't what else to tell you.
>>
Saitama is like a grownup watching kids fight. He hears them all talk about their world-ending attacks and watches them form their little organizations, but what is a big deal to them is a quick fix for him. That's why he never gets very upset about things, even when all the heroes were all fucked up. So long as no one dies, it's all just them goofing around. Even when he makes a point of doing hero stuff, he does it like he's playing a game.
He tries to play along so they don't feel bad about themselves, like with Boros, but in the end they're all pretty much just playing around in his eyes. It's a lot like Reigen in Mob when he criticizes all the espers for being chuuni.
>>
>>120832297
I'm only talking about the song anyway but what else would they use for a series that is a parody of shonen stereotypes than a parody of the arguably most well known anime of that type.
>>
>>120832305
COMMON KNOWLEDGE. EVERYONE know about the Moon gravity, he just pointed that out because he didn't know how it would turn out, and in the end there simply was no problem.
>>
>>120832391
Any source on that other than your imagination?
No need to write in caps either. I can read the text well enough.
>>
>>120832382
Being a parody of nekketsus doesn't means it would fit ANY nekketsu song, that should be obvious.
>>
>>120832424
Saitama is just a normal dude who got his cheat strengh mode. Him knowing anything about how to control perfectly your strength depending on the moon gravity is you pulling that from your ass.
>>
>>120832479
He gradually became stronger during his training so why wouldn't he be able to control his strength? And why would he say "Let's say if it's true" if he wasn't thinking about it?
>>
>>120832540
He didn't exactly push the limits of his strength towards the end of it. His power-up was somewhat gradual, but he still kept to the same routine to the end, even though it must've been nothing to him by then.
>>
>>120832540
He himself doesn't really understand how his strength got up in his training, it's just your usual muscle improvement training result x1000, you don't know you got stronger, you just feel it and understand it as time goes. Proof is that he clearly would have stopped sooner if he knew he would get that strong.

Saitama has never gone all-out against an opponent, not even Garou. If Saitama doesn't kill an opponent in one punch, it's because he doesn't want to, not because they're strong enough to pose a challenge.

Saitama has spent so long looking for an actual fight that we would certainly know if he felt like he'd gotten one, even for a moment.
