A combination of that and they really just want to do a good job fixing the animation. Each subsequent episode had less and less time for them to go back and fix things than the previous ones.

I thought that between the giant mindfuck and suffering in eps 10-11 and her last appearance there wasn't anything that would convey the sense healing in any way. Amira just disappeared, completely fucked up, and then pops up for a goodbye with Favaro, completely adjusted and at peace with the fact of being gobbled up by Bahamut's soul forever. I thought that they could have given us a bit more, or should I say given her.

Also, not sure if anyone is interested, but a couple of extra things from after the broadcast:

-They gave away signed ass posters.
One of them commented that "This is not really something you can hang on your wall!"
It seemed they signed more than the 2 they gave away, so there may be a giveaway competition or something in the future.

-Ike (jokingly) offered the Satou foam cutout to the audience, but when there were people actually interested, he played jankenpon with them to decide a winner.
They were lots of talk of "Don't throw it away when you get to the station now" and "You're taking the train home? Are you going to be able to get it home okay?"

-Earlier in the broadcast, Gou made a comment vastly exaggerating the numbers in the audience (Something like "Wow, there's 500 hundred people here!"), so when it was suggested they a photo in front of the audience, he got worried because "But I said there were so many!" so then they were joking about having to photoshop the image.
