Is it a good time for a pleasant anticipation thread?
If KyoAni ever gets to the point where one show will make or break them, expect more Haruhi. Until then you get tubas and shit.
>The anime begins when Kumiko Ōmae, a girl who was in the brass band club in junior high school, visits her high school's brass band club as a first year. Kumiko's classmates Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko sees her old classmate Reina there and hesitates. She remembers an incident she had with Reina at a brass band club contest in junior high school...
So can I expect something like genderbent Free!, drama and all?
>Wait, there are still people who think that anime studios go rich or bankrupt from adaptations?
This is an adaptation but at the same time a studio spear headed project. The publisher is not part of the committee. KyoAni is the head honcho meaning they inject the biggest funds.
As a bandfag, who did play Euphonium in highschool, I must say... wtf? It's like the artist is gasping at straws... I mean, really? Euphonium? If I had to make a list of most known to most obscure, it would be
>The publisher is not part of the committee.
>That still doesn't mean a studio will get super rich or end up completely bankrupt over one adaptation.
Yes but that doesn't mean that they might actually land a huge loss here. The difference with studios being on the top of the food chain in the production committee and those below is that they spend a lot on it. Take for example KyoAni's financial reports.
They've doubled their sales but at the same time had a significantly lower profit. Why? It's because they fund more.
Rest of the images, not going to dump the rest.
You underestimate Godani? How dare you speak such blasphemy.
